"Now, let's see which of these Skills I'll upgrade."
I whispered to myself as I stared at my skill screen floating in front of me.

(As I only have one point available, then I should use it on a 'Skill' that favors me in the long run).
I thought with my hand on my chin while still looking at my skills.
As soon as I upped the 'Skill' that would favor me the most at that moment, the sound of the system echoed again in my mind.
*SFX for something appearing*
[WARNING:]
[The 'Twin Cuts' Skill has just gone up a level.]
"Great! Now, let's see what my skills look like."
I muttered to myself.

After I saw that another skill had been upgraded.
"Hmm... interesting."
I whispered to myself as I stared at the screen in front of me.
"So, my ‘Gravitational Touch’ Skill has gone up as well."
Before I could close my skill window, that familiar sound echoed in my mind again and another screen appeared instead.
[New technique from the 'Twin Cuts' Skill unlocked.]
[Would you like to learn it?]
[YES]/[NO]
As soon as that new screen appeared in front of me, I confess that I ended up being a little confused. I didn't really understand what was going on, but I decided to just accept it, after all, you can never learn a new technique.

[Passive skill 'Critical hit' acquired.]
I knew that this skill was very good, but like all good things, it also had its downside.
"Reveal information about the new skill."
After giving that command to the system, it disappears in response and reappears with the information about my new Skill.
*SFX to something disappearing and reappearing*
Ring ~
[Critical hit (Nv. 1)]
Passive skill
MP cost: 0
Description: When attacking, you have a [1%] chance to land a critical hit, which completely ignores your opponent's defense.
"That's the negative point I was talking about. For me to land the critical hit, I would literally have to hit my target 99 times in a row. And even then, it still wasn't guaranteed that the attack would work."
I whispered to myself as I let out a long sigh.
I knew that my Skill had its ups and downs, but the good thing was that the more I used it, the faster it evolved. And since it only had one more form, which was the final one, then my skill wasn't all that bad.
As soon as the clock struck 2 a.m. sharp, I decided to put my 'Awakening Allies' plan into practice. I re-entered the house and quietly, without anyone noticing, went up to the second floor where my friends were sleeping.
As everyone was in separate rooms, I went to my room first to call Ronnie Anne. After the incredible surprise I saw inside, I noticed her cheeks were slightly flushed from the situation. Together, we went to Lucy and Lynn's room to call Clyde and Rusty.
With the three of them following me, we went to Lola and Lana's room to call Zack and Liam.
Once I'd gathered everyone together, I took them to the back of the house, where I'd left the goblins, I'd captured.
"All right, everyone. I'm going to be very direct with you. These things in front of you are monsters known as goblins. And, as you can see, they are the same size as a child. However, make no mistake about it, they are much stronger than a child. What's more, they're also agile and quite tricky when they want to be..."
I commented, while pausing briefly to emphasize my words.
"So far, do you understand anything?"
After that question, I paused again, but this time I let out a small sigh.
As soon as I realized that Zack and Liam had a surprised look on their faces and were about to ask something, I interrupted them.
"Since no one wants to ask anything, let's continue."
With a neutral, indifferent expression on my face, I said those words, which ended up scaring them a little, except for Clyde, who was already aware of my personality.
"Picking up where I left off, do you see those daggers in front of them?"
I asked, still looking serene as I stared at them.
I was watching Zack and Liam, and their expression of fear was so obvious that they didn't even try to answer my question this time. The only answer I got from them was a simple nod, confirming that they understood.
"The task I'm going to give you is very simple: I want you to kill these goblins using these daggers. Any questions?"
After I said that, no one dared to say a single word. Even Clyde ended up being a little shocked by my revelation and simply kept quiet. The only person who raised her hand was Ronnie Anne.
"Yes, Ronnie? What would you like to know?"
I asked, giving her space to express her doubt.
"So, were you really telling the truth?"
Ronnie Anne asked, with a slight mixture of concern and curiosity in her tone.
When I heard that, I just couldn't believe she'd been so dramatic just to ask a question like that.
"Does anyone have any questions that aren't as obvious as that?"
I returned to the question, but this time with a slightly serious expression on my face, an expression that ended up scaring everyone.
