Faer Pryor-Blixt, who was now going by the name of Faer Mensa, was turning 19 in a week, and although he was still young, he didn't have the luxury of taking it easy. He came from the famous Blixt family, who were known for their immense wealth as well as their attractiveness. Honestly, he wasn't the least bit happy to be from a family that had so many attractive and talented people, for he was not a part of that group. Faer, for better or worse was a fat tub of lard, or so he'd been told by a number of people. He tried letting it get him down but how was that even possible? With that being said, when he had turned 16 he got emancipated because he couldn't stand being around his family. Because of the comparisons between himself and the rest of his family, it got to the point where he was seriously depressed and didn't want to be in that environment anymore. Don't misunderstand, though, Faer's immediate family was very caring and loving towards him but he could see the strain it took on them having to stick up for him. After all the Blixt family cared a lot about appearances. Now he was living by himself in a renovated warehouse in New York.
He was relatively tall, standing at 192 cm, but that was probably the only thing that was good about him. As a matter of fact, being this fat and tall at the same time was a sight to see, so maybe it wasn't so much of a good thing.
Sigh.
"Let's go to a restaurant to get some culinary healing." He spoke to himself in his usual, gloomy voice.
His feet led him to a high-class restaurant. The exterior was luxuriously elegant. It was the hottest and most exclusive restaurant around so of course; those who dined here were people of importance.
Not just anyone would normally be allowed in unless they had connections or were someone important. In Faer's case, it was his brother that made it possible to eat at such an establishment.
He'd never been here before even though he had heard about it from both his older brother Argento and twin sister Fleur. Just as he was about to step through the doors, a tremor shook the surroundings and a big explosion followed right after. Screams of terror resounded as the tremors grew more intense, so much so that Faer was planted face down on the ground. Dirt mixed with god knew what else took up residence in his mouth as he tried to gasp for air.
Smoke and dust blocked his line of sight but Faer knew that if he could see properly, all there would be was devastation and death. Unable to further string the simplest thoughts together, Faer lost consciousness.
When next he opened his eyes, dust particles greeted him. He could feel he was on a comfy bed, and above his head was a white ceiling. Sitting up despite the pain, he looked around the room. It seemed like he was in a hospital, but why?
Trying to sort through what he remembered, an intense headache gripped him as many unfamiliar memories merged with his. Nothing made sense but at the same time, it did. He was the world acclaimed actor Ivan Lewis, as well as the beautiful and charismatic singer Cora Night, but also the popular author Damon Greer. Many more memories made themselves known and it was now to the point that Faer was on the brink of insanity. Inheriting the memories of so many famous people was driving him mad; he was on the cusp of losing his own identity. Just as he was about to succumb, the memories fused with him, now becoming a part of him.

Shivers of fright wracked his body. He was scared that if anyone found out then he would probably be locked away from the world and become an experiment. Sure the world was filled with many strange things like supernatural creatures amongst other things but something like what Faer was going through defied common sense.
While he was concentrating on his breathing, a screen entered his vision all of a sudden.
"Sorry Kid, I got you caught up in that explosion, so I'm going to give you a skill that will let you automatically absorb the skills of the people in your memories. Not because you have their memories means that you can put it to good use. Now with the skill I'm giving, you basically have all their talent. Go wild or whatever. Oh, maybe try to lose all that weight first? You'd be ridiculously attractive, even by my standards, and I'm God! Anyways, I'll be keeping an eye on you so entertain me ok?"
"What the hell God?!"
The screen popped up again but only with one word in all caps.
"BLASPHEMY!"
Oops. Sorry!
Trying but failing to push that bizarre occurrence at the back of his mind, it seemed like he now had an overabundance of talent in numerous things. Just what should he do with them? He'd like to put them to good use but could he become a celebrity? Sure, he was famous in his own right. The younger brother of Argento Pryor-Blixt, the "Hottest CEO in like ever" according to magazines and his twin sister Fleur Pryor-Blixt, the "Most gorgeous fashion designer." Faer was known to be mysterious, though, he just didn't like going out because of his low self-esteem, so there were no pictures of him anywhere.
While all this self-reflection was taking place in the hospital room, the rest of the world was in pandemonium. Having lost so many stars of course everyone would freak out. Apparently, it was a gas explosion that left no survivors. As for why they said no survivors, it was because The Blixt family forbids any mention of Faer in the media. That was how powerful this family was. So while the chaos ensued outside, Faer, ignorant of the state of the world and his family's involvement, was giving himself a pep talk in his quiet hospital room.
"I'll do it! I'll lose all this weight and start out small since I'm not too comfortable around people, I'll have to take it easy but I can do it! I won't let their talent go to waste! Amitabha."
Thus, Faer took his first step towards his new life, even if it was only mentally.
