I have two things for you today.

First, for those who are trying to figure certain things out about chapter 19's revelations, I recommend a quick reread of the prologue of book 1. I know it goes waaaaay back, but it might offer some insight and even a few more ideas. :-) That's all you're getting from me on the topic as I have a no-spoiler policy.

As for the second thing, read below:

So, I have been debating something internally about this book. The tournament is the next (short) story arc, but there is an opportunity for something I wanted to throw out to you readers for some feedback.

Background is this:

Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site.

The tournament is over, there's a short waiting period for everyone to get their shit together before heading to the spirit realm. This is where the potential opportunity comes in. As we have a "break" while in the Capital, there is time for a special "Pre-Spirit Realm Auction."

The pluses:

1. Everyone loves an auction in a Xianxia novel.

2. Some characters (MC included to a lesser extent) will have the chance to pick up some things which may be planned for the SR.

3. Shenanigans can occur during/after. (An auction without shenanigans is wasted words.)

4. We can preliminarily introduce a few characters we'll be meeting in the SR. (another question might be: If there is one, is the action open to the other empires?)

5. More public actions by MC's master.

The minuses:

1. Words words words. Takes up more.

2. Delays getting into the SR by two-three more chapters.

3. MC probably won't have the $$ to buy anything, or at least anything major.

4. More public actions by MC's master. (Pretty sure he has loads of $$)
