The world was a giant straw man!
It hadn't occurred to Downs that this saying actually applied everywhere.
In the eyes of the mortals, the God King Downs, who had returned to the Kingdom of God after the creation of the world, deserved to live a life of absolute happiness.
They would never have thought in their deaths that in the clear sky of the divine realm of Asgard, a group of giants and gods were discussing some drop-dead gorgeous stuff.
“Just build a [longhouse].”
“With the weather being so nice, the roof could be made of less straw?”
“The walls could be thinner too.”
“Not bad, it's settled.”
After hearing that, Tang Si simply did a double take.
In a sense, the longhouse was sort of 'invented' by Paul.
The main structural components of a longhouse were large wooden posts that were dug deep into the ground to provide a solid foundation for the house. The walls were usually made of wattle and daub or intertwined sticks, then plastered with a mixture of clay and straw. Roofs are covered with straw or sod.
Occasionally, when the roof collapsed or snowed in, Paul would casually throw a large piece of animal skin over the damage and wait until the storm was over before repairing the house.
The design of the longhouse was very simple: rectangular with a fireplace or hearth in the center of the house. Longhouses did not have windows, but there might be small openings near the roof to exhaust smoke. Entrances were usually located at one or both ends of the house.
The only difference between the longhouse built by the hands of this second generation god of the Asa Clan compared to the Vikings' was that it was a dozen sizes larger and fifty meters tall. Otherwise Bestra couldn't get in at all.
Fortunately, this time, the old father's bad idea was refuted by Odin without Downs having to open his mouth.
“Father, I object!” After Odin finished loudly, he still didn't forget to glance slightly sheepishly at Tang Si, glancing at Tang Si who seemed to be curious as well, before he boldly, thinking that he was making a fool of himself, continued, “We, the Asa Divine Race, are honored to be the ruler of the Nine Realms, and if we're still living in such an ordinary house, wouldn't we be ruling this world for nothing.”
Tang Si stroked his chin, and must admit that this time, Odin was in a rare position of being reasonable.
Over there, realizing that Tang Si didn't object, Odin became more and more bold, he passionately waved his arms and encouraged everyone, “Think about it, if mortals create amazing things, and are bent on coming to Asgard to serve us, only to see that there is not much difference between our houses compared to theirs, except that they are a little bit bigger, won't the mortals be disappointed? This is detrimental to the majesty of our divine race!”
Towns thought to himself, “Sure enough, when it comes to the matter of engaging in extravagance, Odin never disappoints anyone.
He smiled, “Then, according to Odin's your idea, what kind of palace should I build?”
“It must not only be huge, but it must be dazzling! Dazzling! One that can make mortals not be able to take their eyes off of it at first sight after coming to Asgard! One that will leave it deeply shocked.” Odin's eyes roamed around and naturally saw the gold mountain that Tangs had 'inadvertently' placed on the surface of Asgard when he remade the world.
The gold mountain with a gold purity of over 80%, if it hadn't been collected in passing right at the time of remodeling, turning back I don't know how much manpower and resources it would have taken to harvest it.
Seeing the gold, Odin's eyes lit up and his hand pointed: “I think the gold is just fine!”
Towns clapped his hands and praised, “Oh! My good brother, you finally came up with a good idea.”
There are certainly mistakes to be pointed out, but occasionally Odin did the right thing, and Towns wouldn't be stingy with encouragement, otherwise the shadow area in Odin's heart would expand infinitely, and one day he would explode with Towns.
There is enough trouble in the world of Jinlenga, and Downs is not interested in forcing a rebellion against Odin.

His praise really led Odin to be overjoyed, “Hahaha! I had a feeling my ideas would always work.”
Next to him, Willie laughed nervously.
Paul, on the other hand, made a small request, “O Downs, father has no objection to what you want to do. But don't forget who we defeated to become Lord of the World.”
Downs nodded slightly, “Eumyll and Sirtle, will contribute to this palace.”
With the general direction set, in terms of the specific architectural appearance and decoration style, Tang Si said nothing to these guys with extremely high muscle content in their brains.
He transferred 9,999 craftsmen of all races from the lower realms, as well as having the giants collaborate, and over the course of a year, three golden and magnificent buildings stood on the high mountains of Asgard.
Mortals who came to Asgard via the Rainbow Bridge would immediately see this golden palace as soon as they stepped onto the earth of the Divine Realm.
From a distance it appears to float calmly in the air, but in truth the long steps are held back by the clouds of the mountain peaks.
The three-hundred-meter-high gigantic palace, the interior of which was made of the same type of Ash from the World Tree as its pillars, and the outside of the wood was inlaid with gold flakes that were more than ten centimeters in thickness, appeared to be a gigantic organ that was high in the middle and low on the two sides, almost pyramidal in shape.
Entering through the 50-meter-high solid gold door, the first thing that caught the eye was the exaggerated atrium on the roof of the building that was 100 meters high, so even if a hundred giants were to drink and enjoy themselves here at the same time, there would not be the slightest sense of crowding.
In fact, there were only a few seats placed here nowadays, which belonged to the god seats of the Asa gods, as well as the thrones of some giants with enough status.
Huge silver fire pans hung down from the dome of the atrium, filled with the blood essence of the Fire Giant's ancestor, Stelter. These self-burning flames would burn on their own for a hundred years before going out. But as long as they were taken to the Flame Kingdom Muspelheim and recharged, they could be used again.
With these 'indestructible flames', the entire interior of the palace would be illuminated as if it was day and night.
The walls all around are made of gold, and in time, this place will have craftsmen carve bas-reliefs to glorify the feat of God-King Downs in slaying the two great Patriarchal Giants. More would remain for the time being to inscribe more epic battles worthy of praise and record.
This glorious golden palace was the [Grazheim], commonly known as the [Golden Palace]!
It would be the place where the gods would deliberate.
To the right of the Golden Palace is the Hall of Silver, with walls made of silver, where the King of the Downs will set up his throne.
And to the left of the Golden Palace is the Hall of Spirits [Valhalla], which will be used to select strong mortals in the future!
The rafters of this palace are hung with spear poles, and the roof is covered with a gold-encrusted shield large enough to be used by giants.
The entire palace has 540 doors allowing 800 mortals to pass through at once.
Aside from the atrium hall, which was used for banquets and gladiatorial combat, Valhalla was built three stories high. Each floor was quite spacious, and even a tall giant with a height of 20 meters would not feel any constriction in such a majestic palace.
The biggest difference of this life's Valhalla was that there were two huge magical weapons inserted at its main entrance, which were Stelter's [Magic Sword of Inferno] and the rough stone axe that Yumir had used.
These two weapons used by the Ancestor Giants, without any explanation, the elements lingering on them were visible to the naked eye. If anyone was bold enough to touch their hands on the weapons, regardless of whether or not they would be injured by the flames or frost recoil, just the grudge that the Giant Patriarch had left on the weapons before his death would be enough to make an ordinary person's soul fly away in fear.
