8 The Mysterious Blood of the Giants

Whether it was the rest of the Asa Divine Race or the giants who were still watching, they all thought that the Frost Giant's Ancestor, Umair, had died.

In fact, this was an illusion.

Tang Si knew his position very well, perhaps he could break through the defense of the thick-skinned Youmile, but when it came to death, it was not so bad.

The biggest characteristic of the giant species was its hardness.

If you were a human, this would be a fatal injury. When it came to Youmile, it was 'just a fatal wound' that didn't matter.

It was clear to see that a large piece of intestine that had been sliced open had flowed out of this Ancestor Frost Giant's dissected abdominal cavity. At the same time, the giant's powerful self-healing ability was also at work.

A small amount of flesh sprouts grew around the edges of his abdominal cavity, attempting to pull at the wound and restore his body to its original state.

“Willie shrink! Run away from it now!” With the same blow, Towns immediately shrunk his body and ran far away, not forgetting to tell his stupid third brother to run midway.

Luckily, Umair was in pain and his full attention fell on Towns, otherwise if he caught Willie with his backhand, Towns really didn't know whether to save him or not.

“Stinker-” hissed Eumir in a slurred voice. Injured and entering a berserk state, he swung his hand and lifted off a mountain that covered an area the size of a basketball court, to say the least.

The mountain rock fell to the ground with a loud bang, and thousands of tons of debris and sand exploded into the air, a wild rain of rocks indiscriminately attacking every living being on this plain, shaking this vast area of the earth, and in turn triggering a man-made earthquake.

What's going on?

Following his hazy perception, Umair half crouched on the ground and slapped a frosty humanoid with incomparable ferocity.

“Ah!”

This Ancestor of the Frost Giants was struck again, and as he painfully retracted his palm, he was only surprised to realize that an incomparably sharp and thick stone thorn had pierced through his broad palm.

He never thought that this ice man, who was similar in shape to the one who had just hurt him, was actually an empty shell with a terrifyingly hard stone thorn hidden inside. If he were to do it normally, he would be able to crush a hundred of these stone thorns with his hand, and under the violent attack, it was like he had slapped through his own palm with one hand.

This was not the end of it, not waiting for him to react, the sound of shocking thunder resounded from the side of his feet once again.

This time, a sharp tree trunk lingering with terrifying electric light pungently pierced through his left calf.

“Who? Bedbugs! Come out! Come out ah-"Umair backhanded with incomparable fury, and once again, he struck a blank. Once again, the three damned Asa deities disappeared from his field of vision through the wind and snow.

Yumir's destructive power was undoubtedly astounding.

Nay, if he couldn't hit his enemies, it was all for naught, just a pointless waste of his strength and life.

“Willie, go up that hill and throw a big rock at Umile, then run there immediately!” Once again, Towns found his own Bean's third brother.

“What about me?” Odin asked as he stepped out from the side.

“You cover Willie. Then repeat the process.”

“Good!” Odin suddenly thought, “What about you, big brother?”

“I'm going to prepare a big move and need you guys to buy me some time.” Towns was certain, “By the time I'm ready, Umair will be dead. Come on! We'll definitely be able to wear out Youmile!”

“Got it!” Although the thought of competing with his big brother had always existed in his heart, Odin didn't dare to play tricks at a time like this. He pulled his foolish third brother along.

Not two minutes later, on top of a two-hundred-meter-high mountain in the distance, Willie did his best to throw a boulder that was held by five people towards Youmile, who was one kilometer away.

The boulder looked like a meteorite falling from the sky, fiercely separating the cold wind in the sky and hurling it towards Youmile.

The stone was rightfully spotted by Yumir, who waved his right hand with a makeshift stick made of 50-meter-long cedar logs with their branches cut off, hitting the hard granite with surprising accuracy.

In a splash of sparks, the boulder, which was big enough to kill an ordinary giant, flew to an unknown place.

Umair took huge strides, charging towards Willie with a terrifying stride of fifty meters a step.

Fortunately, Odin's sneak attack once again succeeded in interfering with Youmile and attracting his attention.

Odin pulled out his legs and ran.

It looked like it was a bad sneak attack by the Asa Gods that went nowhere, but only Downs clearly knew what he wanted to do.

He stepped into a pool of fetid crimson blood.

The giant's blood that flowed down from Umair's injury might not have felt much on his own. But the blow that injured his abdomen, the blood he shed alone easily filled a large snow pit.

The appearance of such a pool of blood on the snow-white earth actually gave him a trance-like feeling of falling into the deepest part of the cold hell.

Tang Si, who clearly remembered the epic [Edda] depiction, did not hesitate for half a second and directly jumped into the blood pool.

Soaking in, Tang Si clearly felt this pool of blood turn into countless crimson beams instantly piercing through his divine body.

The bearskin armor and rough fiber clothes on his body completely burst, and even the powerful cold ice shield that he had applied to himself also shattered inch by inch in front of this most primitive and violent blood force.

If he were another one, he would probably have inevitably fallen into panic at this point.

Tang Si accepted all of this openly.

The power contained in the blood pool was poisonous to races other than frost giants, even strong as the Asa Gods could not be spared.

He was an exception!

Father's essence and mother's blood!

In addition to inheriting the divine power of the Asa God Race, he had also inherited the bloodline of his mother, the giantess Bestra.

He was at least half a frost giant!

This allowed him to let the blood of the Frost Giant Patriarch, Umair, rush into his godly body, transforming it in an earth-shattering fashion.

Bones were strangled, internal organs were churned ...... into Downs's skin, and the raging Frost Giant power was rushing left and right, wreaking havoc and instantly transforming him into a bloody man.

But no matter how exaggerated and terrifying the giant's power was, he expressed his acceptance of it, not flickering or avoiding it, and even had the leeway to sift through the power entering his body, taking the best and removing the worst.

He was like the suffering souls in myths and legends who were dragged into hell and endured an infinite number of abusive reincarnations, accepting the transformation of his bloodline over and over again.

The only thing he did was to protect his heart with his divine thoughts to prevent his divine body from being completely frost-giantized.

The bones of his entire body erupted with crackling sounds like frying beans, his internal organs rapidly reconstructed and became tougher than his original divine body, not to mention his skin and sinews now.

It felt like a long time had passed, but in reality, the whole process took less than three minutes.

When he took a big step out of the pond, if there was still an onlooker who saw it, they would be shocked to find that the originally fishy blood pool had suddenly turned into a cold pool full of ice water.

Aside from a handful of pieces of Youmuir's entrails, there were no other traces of Youmuir to be found in this pool.

He raised his head, and clusters of thoroughly purified giant's blood shaped like snow water slid down from the top of his head, but because the blood had been thoroughly absorbed by him, it did not look scary at all.

Towns was grinning, his snow-white teeth flashing with excitement.

“Not enough, such a great blood of the Patriarchal Giants ...... is not enough!”
