Snow casually fell onto the bloodied mess of a random figure laying in the snow among the trees of a quiet forest. Suddenly the figures body gave a slight jolt before shivering violently. The figures mind started to race with various thoughts, pain from the body overloading there mind briefly from the wounds as the cold dug deep into the exposed flesh an sapping the warmth from the figure. It seemed to be around afternoon as the sun was pleasantly searing into the figures eyeballs when they opened there eyes, the glaring brightness of the sun from above an the reflection of light from all the snow blinded the figure briefly as they tried to accustomed there eyes to the bright light.
Cold... Its so fucking cold....My body hurts so much ow. I- ... I .. I can't remember anything. Why is it so cold. Where am I? My body hurts so much. It all hurts...Im so pissed off for some reason ... and yet I feel so much grief. Why do I feel like this? who-? Why am I laying here? Probably the fact I can't fucking move from the pain duh and im FREEZINGG. hmmmmm... How did I get here? I want to live. I NEED to live. I-
Pain flared in the figures mind as they spasmed suddenly having a seizure from the intense pain an passing out from the intense pain quite quickly.
"GOD DAMN IT." The figure screamed while waking back up. His voice was young sounding but with how raspy and hoarse it was, it sounded quite awful. The figure let out a groan of pain while wind whisked snow off of branches and through the desolate forest along the snowy wasteland. It was beyond freezing as the sun was starting to lower to the horizon, creatures of the night slowly coming from there dens or burrows. The shadows of the trees blanketing the ground an slowly stretching into the distance. A sudden howl of a coyote in the distance made the figures ears perk up suddenly as he tried to move again. The figure wasn't sure how long they have laid in the snow but they knew its been a long time now. The blood in there wounds had frozen solid while there skin had turned a bluish tint from the ice covering most of there body. The figure knew they were dying and wasn't sure why or how they got to where they were or where the wounds came from. It was a bizarre predicament really for the figure. The figure tried to think about anything about itself while the ice around there body gave a slight cracking sound, slightly giving to the weak attempts at the figure freeing themselves.
Why?? WHY?? WH---
The figure suddenly let out another shout an groan of pain, the ice around there body breaking a bit as the figure's body spasmed violently from a seizure. The wounds spilling fresh hot blood past the cracks in the ice an freezing in a blackish blue tint while the figure made screams and raspy groans of pain. It felt like there very soul was being grabbed and strangled while any thoughts about the past they tried to remember got buried deeper an deeper into the subconscious parts of there mind. Eventually the pain subsided as the figures wolf like tail thrashed about in a pissed off manner from the pain and the figures wings fluttered against the snow. The figure groaned as his claws extended from his fingernails, digging into the frozen bark as he forced his body into an upright position. He finally had gotten a better look as his body as he raised a brow at the wings on his back that he folded up along his back before resting against the tree. He had no idea what he was but he knew he wasn't human. He then paused before suddenly thinking of whatever knowledge he could. Why did he know about humans but not whatever h-
Another scream resounded through the forest as he tried to think of what he was. He regretted his choice immediately but the pain wasn't as bad as the first time. His eyes slowly closed as he let out a soft sigh of fear at the unknown pain he was feeling. He could feel the knowledge now buried and he couldn't unlock it or retrieve it. He cautiously tried to think about his name or what he was and relaxed as he felt no pain this time, but no matter what or how he tried to remember it all came up blank. He had a vague sense of knowledge that a very powerful soul memory spell was placed on him an whatever he wanted to know would come back to him when needed. He also knew that he was gonna die that night if he didn't get healed or at least to a warm shelter. He then glanced at his legs as he examined the frostbite that had spread all the way up to his knees. He then examined his body further seeing he was covered in all kinds of wounds from all types of magical spells an countless wounds from physical weapons. His tail had been partially cut off, his right wing was fully gone while the left was in tatters with barely any feathers remaining, then came his limbs. His right arm was gone up to the shoulder, all that's left was a curved gaping wound, meanwhile his left arm was missing its ring an pinky finger was a sword slash it seemed. His legs were in better shape but the left one seemed to have the bones inside completely obliterated while the right only had a small break near the ankle. He felt horns on his head that were chipped an cracked an one of his wolf ears were partially torn off. He was wondering what the fuck he did to even be in this state or how the hell he was even alive like this. His eyes glanced over the ice covering his body especially the wounds.
"You know what. I actually like the freezing cold. Its not so bad even though im turning into a meatsicle right now. heh... Haahhhh fuck."
He glanced around at his surroundings now trying to figure out anything at this point to further his survival. He was just grateful that the cold numbed or completely rid the feeling of pain an in parts of his body. Various wounds an spots on his body were also starting to develop into frostbite and lucky for him, he didn't know healing spells. "Im fucked." he said to himself quietly "I swear whoever did this to me..I hope someone punches them right in the groin. Hmmm." He tried to move as he shifted his body a bit, the ice breaking an cracking as blood spilled from his wounds an through the cracks. Luckily the blood slowly stopped flowing due to it slowly freezing solid from the cold an resealing the cracks. He stared at the ice an narrowed his eyes trying to think of how to move without risking the integrity of the nature given ice bandages. He felt like he knew some kind of magic but he couldn't remember what magic it was or how to even perform the spells needed for ... whatever it is. It was like the knowledge slipped from his mind like water would from a cupped hand. It was obviously there but he couldn't grab it and he was getting the urge to strangle the shit out of whoever put him in his current situation. "This is so much funnn. I love being frozen an at the edge of death in the middle of FUCKING NO WHERE. Like... WHERE THE FUCK AM I EVEN AT. THERE'S ONLY SNOW AN TRE...." His ears perked as he saw a bunny suddenly dash out of a burrow away from him an his screaming. "Ah- I apologize, I was wrong. There's also a fucking bunny. Fucking fantastic.* He suddenly coughed a bit as blood spilled past his lips and onto the snow near him. His throat was aching from his screaming as he softly sighed an rested his head against the tree behind him. He then heard a coyote make a excited yipping sound as he stayed stilled. He needed to eat something, something warm to energize his body even a lil. fur strips to close wounds or stop blood circulation. He started to think of various survival skills he could remember. He was willing to do anything to survive and that coyote was gonna be his first stepping stone to live.
Minutes started to slowly past as the wind kept howling through the trees. The sun had fully set an was just starting to disappeared while the dark of the night encroached upon the land, blanketing the snowy wasteland with close to pitch black darkness an even colder below freezing temperatures all for the enjoyment of yours truly. He really was gonna have to have a one on one conversation with whoever put him there but for now he kept his ears perked, listening intently. He kept his eyes closed now but earlier he was able to see easily enough in a roughly 20 ft radius around him in the dark like it was almost day. He now knew he could see at night, maybe he's some hybrid lycanthrope type of creature. He wasn't sure- he then stopped his train of thought as he heard a creature slowly approaching his body. The paws of the creature crunching through the snow while it sniffed the air cautiously now for other predators. The creature in question was a coyote that was a bit on the skinnier side. it had thick warm looking fur covering it an was completely white having been adapted to the cold climate. It got closer to the 'corpse' before suddenly chomping down on the lower part of the right leg, using its fangs to rip at the cloth an dig into the skin. It then paused briefly as warm hot blood spilled along its tongue an snout as some instinctive warning went off. Its frozen an dead, why is it warm. It ignored the instinctive warning an bite down further to start eating, it was starving an needed to eat now before another predator came by an stole its meal. The so called corpse though suddenly moved as the coyote yipped, letting go of the leg it was biting an trying to run as a clawed hand lashed out with surprising speed an grasped its neck. Ice cracked an broke, falling off in pieces or clinging to the arm in places while any wounds on the arm opened up an bleeding fresh hot blood.

He looked at the thrashing growling Coyote in his hand, the creature trying to bite anything it can reach while its back claws clawed at his arm an pushed at his body. He had no remorse for the poor creature an since he was unable to break its neck with how weak he was an was one handed an only 3 fingers, he started to try strangling it. He made sure to keep readjusting his grip on the creature as it kept almost slipping from his grasp as he huffed in frustration an exertion. the blood flowing down his hand onto the creatures fur was making things more difficult an the underside of his arm was turning into tatters from the creatures clawing an struggles. He could feel his mind getting muddled from blood loss an the feeling an strength of his arm was slipping. Suddenly he had a thought, his tongue rubbing against his fangs briefly as he yanked the coyote to his chest. He then bit down with renewed strength an fervor as his fangs tore into the creatures neck with surprising ease. The poor coyote started to bleed out an choke on its own blood as the body soon became limp an lifeless. He then started to rip the coyote to pieces eating the raw meat he could an drinking a bit of the blood to quench his thirst a bit. After a while he tossed the carcass to the snow beside his body as the blood on his wounds had frozen a bit. He moved slow an easy to make sure he didn't break the ice on his wounds much as he wiped the blood from around his mouth. His body was covered in blood as he felt bad for the coyote if only a little. He had earlier skinned it with his claws best he could an turned the fur into either strips as bandages or padding to help stop up bleeding on some of his bigger wounds. of course the ice had helped literally freeze the makeshift bandages in place on his body which was useful. Of course the downsides of it all was now the frostbite had reached his upper thighs on his legs an his body was looking more blue then a pale tan. He at least felt full though albeit his stomach was really upset but in his mind that was a very minor issue. At least 1/7th of his wounds had rudimentary fur bandages around them, He still had to worry about infections, an rotting among other various ailments. He needed something bigger to come along an become either transportation somehow or more bandage strips.
He softly sighed an closed his eyes as he went back to playing the waiting game an patiently waiting as his wounds froze over again for the next victim. He still felt a bit lightheaded from earlier's blood loss but he was feeling better slowly after eating. His wounds that he could feel tho started to feel off an...itchy? He opened his eyes again as he looked at his wounds as he had a vague feeling his wounds seemed better now? He grunted with effort as he shifted a little before slightly bending over an raising his arm to his eyes carefully. He then did his best to stay still as he watched the wound as the tingling itchy sensation kept coming from the wound. After 10 mins of watching an blinking slowly he noticed the difference. The wound he was looking at was the sword cut along his ring an pinky fingers. He noticed that the wound had healed an even regenerated bits of the bone an muscle. It was super slow but it was still something an he felt a bit more energy was in his body. He then looked at the frostbite. its spread up his body had slowed tremendously but was still slowly covering his body. no matter how fast he regenerated it wouldn't stop the process of freezing solid plus the extreme cold was slowing the regeneration further as it relied on cell activity. He looked at the wounds covered in frostbite as he nodded seeing as his toes had started to rot an the wounds hadn't healed at all. His body was dying but it was only gonna become fuel now. He slowly took a gulp and a slow deep breath as he prepared himself mentally. He then proceeded to cut off every piece of flesh that was beyond saving from frostbite. He left a sliver of completely frozen flesh left so as to not break into the parts of his body still alive to save as much of his blood an lifeforce that he could. He had cut off both legs up to his upper thighs now the remainder of his wing an tail then parts of his sides an chest area. he piled up the dead frozen pieces of flesh next to him then cut off any of the rotting bits before tossing those pieces aside. Another slow deep breath traveled through his lungs as he gave silent thanks for the cold an frostbite for blocking most if not all his pain receptors. he still felt pain near his heart an lungs an his arm that still had blood flowing through the veins but even that was becoming sluggish an numb. His hand grasped one of his legs as he slowly gulped before closing his eyes an wincing while sinking his fangs into the frozen flesh. He did his best to avoid tasting it while he hungrily ate up the frozen flesh, devouring every morsel to keep his regeneration running. After about an hour he had finished, the bones having been tossed aside near the now frozen coyote carcass. His stomach was extremely upset an he wanted to puke so badly but he held it down.
Don't puke. Don't puke. Don't puke. ughhhhhh im gonna be so sickk.
He clamped his jaws firmly shut as barf suddenly erupted into his mouth, it tasted god awful as he just wanted all the raw meat out of his system but he forced it back down into his stomach. He then retracted his claws an scooped mouthful after mouthful of snow into his mouth, swallowing it for the water an to help his stomach stop its bullshit. He was gonna be pissed if he died cause his stomach didn't agree with him due to what he ate to survive. After a while, his stomached calmed down then he glanced up to the night sky, seeing the 8 moons an the countless stars in the sky. It was a beautiful site to behold as his body relaxed, his mind slipping into a relaxed ease if only briefly. He listened to the soft gusts of wind while the branches of the trees shook an waved in the air above creaking an groaning. No other sound was around in the eerily quiet forest... He paused realizing it was too quiet as he didn't hear the hoots of owls anymore nor even any sounds from smaller critters scurrying about, granted there still wasn't many in the wasteland but he still heard one every now an then. Something dangerous was approaching an its very presence demanded silence from the forest. He looked through the desolate forest with his eyes carefully slowly while his ears listened for any sound at all. He was hoping to spot whatever it was and was just about to move his arm to start burying himself in snow to hide. Suddenly though he heard a soft scratching sound from above as he froze in place, goosebumps forming along his arm an neck as whatever it was, was above him.
