Breach understood where breach had made the goal, next it was time to understand the layout of the floor and lookout for anything noteworthy.
Breach stared at it and memorized the layout as best as he could. The more he knows now the easier it will be for him to teleport anywhere on this floor.
Breach quickly found something unusual. Usually, the hallways and rooms were full of unique and special objects of value hidden somewhere just waiting to be discovered. Plenty of objects were found this way.
Especially those rose gold coins.
Although we might not know now what they are meant for, the difficulty of obtaining them tells volumes of their importance later. One particular coin they found on the 4th floor left a deep memory in Breach’s mind. You first need to pass through a fake wall that looks flat but actually has a hidden hallway hidden in reverse to the common path one would normally take to go to a higher floor. It was placed in such a way that the gap entrance can only be visible when you are right next to the fake wall and are looking in reverse when one is trying to find the lower floor entrance.
After squeezing into the narrow hallway full of paintings, the next step is to press the golden vase onto a painting behind it. The vase was created to be nearly flat on its side. Flat enough that those walking by would pass it over as a painting of a vase. That is how close the flat vase is to the painting.
But if you move your head to the paintings borders, you will find that the vase is nailed to the paintings borders. Once you press the vase, a switch in the middle of the painting that the vase was hiding will finally be pressed.
This will open another hidden doorway; this doorway will finally reveal the last puzzle.
Coins.
Lots and lots of coins.
An entire room full of coins shining brightly in a rose gold color.
But there was only one that was real. Put inside the door itself!
The entire room was a ruse and diversion to not look closely at the back bottom side of the door.
You will find a hidden lever blended perfectly to the door, pull the lever and a unique rose gold coin unlike those in the room will fall out of the hole hidden by the lever.

This is one of the many examples the bugs with many tentacles attached to them that Scout had made to explore an entire floor being far more useful than compared to actual human investigation. Not everything is appropriate for investigation by human eyes, this mansion after all was made specifically to target beings with human structure. Honestly speaking, there would be no way to find this coin normally without some considerable time and serious investigation abilities.
So, normally the mini replica should show everything everywhere on this floor, just like the last eight floors.
However, this ninth floor…
Besides the question mark room, there was nothing of value.
If Scout’s cameras that recorded everything on this floor weren't malfunctioning when scout created this mini replica. Then the only thing that is of significant value must be in that mysterious place.
After a moment Breach pointed at the hallway.
In response Scout shook his head.
Moving his hand, Breach pointed to a room next to the mysterious room.
Yet Scout still shook his head.
Breach paused for a moment and slowly pointed his finger to the mysterious room.
Scout moved his head up and down.
Breach took a silent deep breath and stared at Scout.
Feeling the moment, Scout raised his head and stared back with a serious face.
There was no joke to this decision.
Breach spread his hand to reveal all five fingers while the other hand gestures out. Next Breach spread out 3 fingers and gestures in.
(You have 5 seconds to prepare to go in, I’m taking you back in 3 seconds.)
However, Scout shook his head and spread both hands and closed again. Repeating it several times. After which point doing a few gestures.
(I need more time to go out.)
Breach pointed inwards with one hand while having the other hand spread three fingers while his face had a questioning look.
(Do you still need 3 seconds?)
Scout shook his head and lifted one hand.
That hand...
Only had one finger out.
Then Scout raised both hands and pointed at himself and Breach. Then gestured down back to the previous floor.
(I only need one second. Pull me back and take us back to the safe house right after.)
Breach stared at Scout for a moment and then nodded his head. This hasn’t been the first time they traveled back to the first floor’s safe house. Although it may be an excessive caution, it is better to be safe than sorry.
Scout quickly got to work and started to build a few things out of thin air.
Blast protection Goggles.
Some rope.
Thick pair of gloves.
A Riot Shield.
A flashbang.
And…
A bazooka…
