Final Trial? Start!

Final Trial? Start!

Backtracking half an hour ago. On the first-floor stairs entrance to the second floor.

Several groups encountered their first obstacle.

The second-floor hallway was guarded by uniquely decorated marble golems.

With the weight of marble and toughness to back it up. Many groups were defeated by it head-on.

But people got smart, instead of fighting it head on… Can't you outrun it?

Sure enough, the marble golems were extremely slow. Just run or do a few tricks around the golem to escape its attack and chase.

When everyone started to explore the dozens of rooms to see if there's anything to gain from here...did they quickly realize that they were too late...

To their disappointment, everything that might seem unusual or valuable was taken. Clearly visible as some chests and altars that looked unusually empty. Obviously, somebody had taken them.

Then the running to the third floor began in full force.

For the slow ones, they ran out of the rooms and started to look for the third-floor entrance. Hoping to find something there.

The Fast ones on the other hand have already been aware of what the second four rooms may be like after looking at the others and thankfully they took the risk of passing on the second floor. Betting their future that there may be better ones to find on the third floor.

At this point many were annoyed they didn’t have any mobility skill from their systems. But they continued onwards looking for the third-floor entrance, it took a while searching but finally someone found it in a hidden corner of a dead end that fit just so perfectly to give an optical illusion that it wasn’t there from a distance.

After cursing the creator of the mansion for making such a devious design, he yelled to others the entrance location while he himself ran up the stairs. Figuring that while he can have the advantage now, he might not be so lucky to find the entrance to the next level of the mansion without help.

Afterall, this mansion is too evil in its tricks and misdirection.

The third-floor monsters were surprisingly sparse on this floor. Less than the plentiful number of golems on the previous floor. However, they were not fooled by this. Each monster was more difficult to deal with than that of the Golems individually.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

They were giant electric eels swimming through the air.

Fast, Agile, Cunning, Paralyzing...all these four words can perfectly describe the danger these monsters gave to the participants.

Too fast to escape from nor too weak to be ignored. Not even doing some underhanded tricks would solve them with their cunning minds.

Reluctantly, this was a fight that cannot be avoided in their current condition.

Several participants had to get together temporarily to fight against a single electric eel that could swim through the air. The eel was three times the length of a man and wider than a grown pig.

It took all they had to bring it down. Only to annoyingly find out that everything on this floor was taken again.

However, they didn’t let that hold them back for long. They quickly ran to look for the stairs again. Hoping to reach and catch up to whoever is ahead of them.

Just as the leading solo player luckier than everyone else thanks to her system found the stairs and was about to take her first step on the staircase to the fourth floor…

Did something happen…

Backtracking half an hour ago. On the first floor.
