Outer Sect Area, Black Sakura Sect.
“Where do you think you are going kid?” A guard to the core area of the sect stopped a little kid as he tried to enter the place. One had to know that the core area was off limits to people who were not in the outer rankings. And, only with entry permits was one allowed to enter the place.
“I am in a rush. Please let me enter, I have this token with me..” The little kid handed over the token to the guard. It read ‘Lei’ on it.
“Are you here to meet Senior Lei Xing?” the guard inquired as he looked at the kid in surprise.
“Yes, I am Mu Han..” the little kid replied, his actions a little agitated. It was clear that he was in a hurry.
“Ok, wait here. I will send someone to inform him..” The guard nodded, he didn’t seem to care if Mu Han was in a hurry. He was a little kid to begin with. Not to mention, he was in the uniform of a servant. A kid with no background, obviously to ask some kind of favor.
‘This guy….’ Mu Han could see what was going on, it only made his little shoulders to quiver in rage.
…
Outskirts, Rotten Valley
Jin Ho laid on the ground slowly looking at the scene as Lu Shimming fought his way through the group of people. Even when barred by his eyesight, he still displayed such an amazing combat ability.
‘What am I doing?’
He was lying there, cursing his fate, and lack of talent. But was his condition worse than Senior Lu?
No, it wasn’t..
Then how could he lay down…
He slowly clenched his fist, and began to struggle his way up seeing Lu Shimming completely surrounded, and in a perilous situation.
“Honestly, I never wanted you to die such a gruesome death. But it's your fault. You are the one who has angered my fellow people here..” Tie Niu laughed as he crossed his arms feeling very amused at the current situation. He really liked this feeling of being in control and power.
“Tie Niu!!!”
Suddenly a roar erupted, as everyone turned their faces to see Jin Ho back on his two feets madly rushing towards Tie Niu.
“You little rat..” Even the guy himself wasn’t prepared for the situation. He knew that he had barely left some life in this guy alive, and yet here he was charging towards.
“Bang!”
Jin Ho tackled him with all his might trying to take him to the ground. Unfortunately he barely had any strength left in his body.
“Tsk…is this all..” Tie Niu sneered as he held Jin Ho with both of his hand, but before he could make his next move, a chill rose up his spine.
“Did you forget about me?” Lu Shimming’s shadow suddenly rose from behind him, he had sneaked up on him at lightning speed. His hand held a sharp wooden splinter from the broken shovel.

‘Shit..’ Tie Niu realized that even though he hadn’t suffered any damage because of the tackle, it had pushed him back into Lu Shimming’s sensing circle.
“Shnk!”
The wooden splinter pierced into the side of Tie Niu’s neck, and blood immediately spurted out of it.
“Aaahh!!!!”
Tie Niu let out a horrifying scream as a fluctuation of Qi rose from him, and the next second, he exploded with strength.
A kick landed on Jin Ho’s stomach sending him flying back, while he grabbed Lu Shimming over his shoulder and pulled his body over, slamming him into the ground.
“Bang!”
Blood spew out of Lu Shimming’s mouth from the intense impact, and he felt the bones in his body crack as an intense pain coursed through his body.
“I will kill you!!!” Tie Niu’s eyes turned red in madness. The wooden splinter was still lodged into his neck, but it didn’t seem to penetrate deep enough into his huge frame.
“Bang!”
A kick suddenly landed on Lu Shimmin’s stomach, and it sent him tumbling towards the edge of the cliff.
“Bring me the sword…”
Tie Niu ordered, and two people suddenly brought out a box. It contained a deep black sword, carrying an ominous aura.
‘This..’ Lu Shimming’s face changed upon feeling the intense blood lust leaking out from the sword. It was a very familiar feeling, he had come across that artifact before.
“Blood Harvester!’”
‘Why do you have it?” He struggled to get up to his feet, but his knee faltered.
“Since, you were able to identify it. You should know the reason too…” Tie Niu slowly walked towards Lu Shimming, until he arrived right before him. “You are going to die today..”
He pulled the sword back, and stabbed forward.
“Tap!”
With a strong step, Jin Ho’s figure suddenly came in between Lu Shimming and Tie Niu. He unfurled his hand wide, with his back facing Tie Niu as he protected Lu Shimming.
“Shnk!”
The sword pierced through Jin Ho’s back and came out of his chest.
“Guh!”
A mouth full of blood spurted out of Jin Ho’s mouth, drowning Lu Shimming in blood red.
“Damn it!!” Tie Niu pulled the sword out with a deep frown on his face. The next instant, the sword in his hand began to crack before shattering into a million pieces, and a blood red bead dropped onto the ground from it.
It was blood essence refined from its victim.
He only had one such sword with him, given by Senior Hou. It was a form of evidence that he had killed Lu Shimming.
“Thud!”
Jin Ho’s frail body collapsed onto Lu Shimming. His life slowly slipping away like a handful of sand.
“Jin Ho!!”
Lu Shimming couldn’t help but panic as he felt the warm blood drenching Jin Ho’s clothes wet, and his breathing turned faint with each passing second, before finally coming to a stop.
“Noo!!!!”
Lu Shimming cried out in pain, holding onto the lifeless body. All the memories that he had of the silly boy flashed across his eyes. He felt a lifeless feeling wash over him.
“Don’t worry, both of you can cry in the afterlife together,” Tie Niu’s neck twitched in pain, he didn’t have any more time to deal with this.
He stretched out his hand, and a fellow lackey passed on the dagger to him.
“You were a talent, Lu Shimming. But one who was never meant to bloom. I pray that you will bloom in the next life..”
“Shnk!”
The dagger sank into Lu Shimming’s chest.
‘Is this how it ends..’
A sharp pain rose from his chest, and he felt the world around turning silent. It was all over.
“Throw both bodies down into the abyss...”
Those were the last words that Lu Shiming heard before his heart stopped.
He had passed away.
