Hey again everyone. I will continue posting on Royal Road.

Thanks everyone who poured out positive ratings! I was not asking for that, but it does make me feel like I owe it to your guys to keep posting here on Royal Road. However, my intention was not to force you guys to do that.

I told everyone I would let things play out for the next few days and decide whether or not I'd be pulling my work from Royal Road. What I did not tell everyone was that my decision was contingent on the response of Royal Road support to the ticket I submitted.

I've submitted tickets before, and it usually takes about three days to receive a response. That's why I said I would give it a few days to see how things played out before deciding whether to pull my work or stay on Royal Road.

But, for some odd reason, this time I received a response within hours of submitting the ticket. And surprisingly, again, the response was a positive one and ratings were removed.

I have no idea how I got so incredibly lucky to have support provide me such rapid and positive help, this time.

So, I will continue posting on Royal Road.

(Essentially, I've gotten back to back low ratings on Royal Road for the past 24 hours. Unfortunately, people who actually enjoy the story usually do not give ratings, while those who are trying to prevent me from climbing higher on rising stars or just have an issue with me tend to drop .5 star ratings.

I'm just tired of it. I honestly only make $21 on my Patreon, and the negatives of sharing my story on Royal Road are beginning to outweigh the positives.

I've dealt with Royal Road support before, and have had little luck getting these issues resolved.

If I pull my work from Royal Road, it will remain available on Patreon for free members.

I've advertised on Royal Road, so it does feel like a little bit of a waste of $165, but honestly... Yeah, I don't care.

I'm going to let things play out for the next few days and see where I stand on things. Currently, Royal Road seems like a waste of my time unless I just want to throw myself into a rollercoaster of bullshit that comes with it. Can't see myself putting any more money into advertising here, for sure.q

Thanks to everyone who has shown support so far, and I really hate to leave you guys hanging. But like I said, you can always follow the story for free on Patreon. But the mental toll it takes when you get rating bombed is a lot. If people who enjoyed the story would give ratings and balance that out, it wouldn't be so terrible.
