The last announcement hasn't caused much ripples, it has reached less people than what I would have expected, which it's a shame.

There won't be an after story after all (pun very much intended) and that's a bit of disappointing. I know that it's a bit out-of-character and seemingly greedy for me to ask you all to give me money to write when I did it for free, but I truly believed we would have reached that milestone easily considered I asked for around 70 euros. I'll blame it on the algorithm rather than you, because less than half of the followers of The Arcane Soul have viewed the announcement, besides the fact that there are also non-follower readers that I cannot keep track of.

As I have to post a minimum amount of words to publish a chapter, I'll explain shortly what my idea was with this.

The after story book would have probably been titled "Wedlock at Caelestaya" or something around those lines and it would go from the moment Edrie defeated the High Arcanist to a few months into the future from the epilogue. There would have been multiple POVs, most notable that of Caius, Eygaz, and 'Shadow', exploring parts we couldn't see from Edrie's perspective and also slice-of-life moments with Alatea, Adrian, Monica, and of course, Marissa.

By the way, the idea of the drawing I had was that of Edrie and Marissa together with the clothes they wore on the last chapter.
