Hey there!
This is Lonebot, creator of this story! Since my first update might be too long for a post-chapter author note, I figured that it should be its own separate post instead, to make things easier for everyone.
For all followers of the story so far, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for those who are either still reading or have already caught up to the current chapter. It really means a lot to me to see people interested in the adventures of the Apocalypse Cleaners.
Unfortunately, this is where I currently stop. There will be no more updates to the story for now, and there are a few reasons for that.
1. My schedule will only be getting busier after this, and I will have even less time writing. I'll still be writing in my spare time, but at this point, I cannot maintain a consistent release schedule.

2. I have made quite a number of mistakes in the current story so far, and so I will be polishing them up first before continuing to work on the intermission and the second act.
3. Most importantly, I have realized that I am severely underprepared for posting stories on this site. Truthfully, I did not do my prior research before posting this story here, including the type of content that is popular and what other authors do. I hastily released chapters when I did not know any better, and it has understandably caused a rather lukewarm reception, one that I'm sure would have been even worse if I had not released the advertisement. I'm sure some of you might have also noticed the poor formatting of everything, including this post.
So, what's next?
As mentioned, I will be polishing up Act One, and I will only be releasing the Intermission and Act Two when they're both ready to launch. Until then, I hope you guys will be patient with me, and tell me what can be improved so that I can fix the current story and make it even better for everyone. I really want to complete the story, and I do have the full outline of the entire thing already, but it'll take some time for it to be fully ready, so please be patient. More updates will come soon.
