Larka was a female. She would spend most of her time around Chris, occasionally venturing out. After the initial reservation, Roger never raised any concern over Larka.
Sarah was just happy that Philip had someone around, so she didn't raise any concern either, though she was quite surprised that a Lewt managed to be so close to someone without any magic affinity. It was more surprising because Lewt were not easily tamed even by beast tamers. Even her Draconet clan having better compatibility with beasts due to their dragon blood, boasted of a few true Lewt tamers.
They were considered highly intelligent and had strong magic, to get close to them one needed to have a strong magic affinity. This was the reason why they were used in the naming ceremony. Thinking back, she vaguely remembered in Philip's ceremony, the Lewt just kept staring at him without making a movement, "Was it normal?" she wondered.

Time went by faster for Chris with Larka around, he continued his studies trying to learn more and more about this world, he kept searching for any clues to go back.
One day he risked exposing his secret and asked Roger if he knew anything about being summoned to a different world. Roger replied by saying he hasn't heard of any practical use of such magic, they were mostly in stories and legends. The only beings capable of such feat were the Dragons and Devils who were considered world hoppers as they had moved to this continent from their homeworld centuries ago.
He didn't push more, afraid that it would expose his secret, for now, he wanted to keep it to himself until he could at least get some clue on what really happened to him. Though looking back at the conversation, Chris couldn't help but imagine a very small change in Roger's calm demeanor when he asked him the question, he shrugged it off as something he imagined.

Seven months quickly passed since the "Formal Dinner". Sarah was in labor, the whole mansion was abuzz, with servants' movements more swift than normal. William had arrived last night, he didn't ask for Chris yet, he was fine with it.
Deep inside he was happy for Sarah, he liked her and decided that he will give the baby all the kindness she had shown him. He wondered if he was cruel to only consider the baby as a child of William and Sarah, and not his own sibling? Chris continued to feel like an alien in this world, since remembering Eva all he wanted was to go back, he felt there is nothing for him here.
After three hours of painstaking labor, Sarah gave birth to a baby boy. Chris got summoned to meet the baby. He entered to see Sarah holding the baby with William beside her, for a change William looked happy, and he couldn't hide his adoration for the baby.
Sarah asked Chris to come closer to him, he moved cautiously, standing beside them. Sarah opened her arm and inside wrapped up in clothes, he sees the smallest human he had ever seen, barely able to open his eyes. Sarah encourages him to touch the baby, Chris reluctantly brings his hands closer to touch his face.
The baby who had his eyes closed opens them slowly looking straight at him, Chris freezes, not knowing what to do, he brings his hand closer. The baby extends his tiny hands and holds onto Chris's finger. Chris just stands there in that position looking at the baby, and after what felt like an eternity, he pulls his hand back and turns to go back to his room.
While going back he touches his face to see tears on them, he stops, surprised, and then a realisation dawns on him, and with a smile on his face, he walks to his room.
He was now an older brother.
