Chapter 20

I began listing out the things I needed to do. I had received some hints about my future, and the first thing that came to mind was my marriage problem. Unfortunately, no proposals had come my way yet, and even if they did, it wouldn't be anytime soon. So, I decided to focus on the second issue instead. I needed an army or, at the very least, a group of people who could protect me from whatever horrible thing would happen in less than ten years' time. If possible, I wanted to raise my own cultivation level to safeguard my life.

As I sighed deeply, I realized how hard this was going to be. Looking up at the ceiling, I couldn't help but wonder, "Why does life always have to be so difficult?"

As I pondered on the daunting task ahead, my mind kept circling back to the limited supply of Spiritual Qi. It was clear that my new army would need it to cultivate and I myself required a steady flow of pure Qi to power my formations and spells and to raise my own cultivation.

I knew that spending a fortune to purchase Spiritual Qi was not an option. Doing so would attract too much unwanted attention and I simply couldn't afford it on my limited wealth. I needed a different solution, one that would not put me in danger and would still provide me with the necessary resources to protect myself and build my army. In an ideal world, an endless supply of this precious resource would have solved all my problems.

But alas, reality had other plans, or does it I decided to use my newfound knowledge packet that I had dubbed The Grand Archive Library to search for a solution to my problem.

Unfortunately, the vast knowledge in my mind didn't come with an index. Instead, I had to come up with an idea before sifting through mountains of data that would be dumped into my head by the library in my mind afterward.

Therefore, instead of simply understanding what options were available, I had to devise a solution and then determine if they were even feasible. After a dozen dumb ideas to generate spiritual Qi-like, such as creating a giant spirit-gathering array that could harness the power of the world's natural energy, I realized that the resources and manpower required to construct and maintain such a formation were simply not practical.

Next, I considered using my own emotions to generate spiritual qi but quickly realized that emotions were a fickle and unreliable source of energy. They could easily become unstable and cause more harm than good.

Tapping into the power of the heavens and the land seemed like a logical next step, but after researching further, I realized that the process was too complex and required a significant amount of spiritual power to initiate.

I even considered creating a system that utilized the energy of the stars or other celestial bodies, but the technology required to achieve such a feat was not yet within my grasp, and another half dozen ridiculous ideas only to find out none of them were even in the realm of possibility

Undeterred, I continued to sift through the library's information, looking for any clues or suggestions that could lead me to a viable solution. With each passing moment, my mind grew more and more cluttered with data, and I feared that I would never find the answer I sought. But then, as if by some divine intervention, a spark of inspiration lit up my mind, and I knew exactly what I had to do. finally, I found a sustainable method of Creating a self-contained system such that Rather than relying on external sources of spiritual energy, a spiritual generator could be constructed to create a self-contained system that continually generates spiritual qi.

How?

Well, in all honesty, I didn't come up with the idea I stole it from someone from back on earth who had written about it and used the achieve to search for the relative information on it, So the basic concept of the thing was Qi is a form of energy if an exotic one. Matter and energy are different forms of the same thing. and Transforming matter into Qi according to the library was possible

This could be accomplished by locking complex arrays of runes inscriptions and spells, as a permanent enchantment upon my small amulet.

I carefully selected around twelve high-grade spirit stones from my collection, which appeared to me more like crystals than stones. It took me around ten minutes to sort through the newfound knowledge I had acquired and verify that my first plan for improving the situation was possible. However, it took me an hour of experimentation to figure out how to implement it. Although it appeared straightforward at first, it proved to be far more challenging than I had anticipated. It was like trying to balance a house of cards while juggling flaming torches, but I refused to give up. With each failed attempt, I grew more confident until I finally succeeded. I had managed to sculpt the crystal into a makeshift amulet with intricate patterns etched onto it, using water and ice as my mediums.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

However, the challenge was far from over.

Next, I had to carefully inscribe the runes and spells onto the amulet, being sure to avoid any mistakes that could render the entire enchantment useless or even dangerous. It took me several hours of careful work to complete the enchantment, but finally, it was done.

The amulet now glowed with a soft, steady light, and I could feel the spiritual energy flowing from it, powering my formation and filling the air around me with a potent aura of qi.

How much energy?

E=mc^2, baby.

The flow rate was the same as a Fourth order spirit vein I had to slow it down in order not to draw too much attention to it since even at top speed this small amulet could provide me a steady supply of Qi for over a thousand or so years easily, give or take a few centuries before it ate itself.

With this new source of spiritual energy, I could now power my army and my cultivation without ever worrying about running out of spirit stones. It was a solution that had taken me a lot of effort and experimentation to achieve, but it was worth it in the end.

As I sat there, admiring my handiwork, I couldn't help but marvel at the power of knowledge and the possibilities it held. With the vast library in my mind and my newfound understanding of the world, there was no limit to what I could achieve.

As I contemplated my plans to create a variety of exotic artifacts, a realization struck me. With all the knowledge of runes, enchantments, spells, inscriptions, and everything else stored within my memory banks, I was more of a wizard than a cultivator. This meant that I needed to not only use this knowledge to enhance my own cultivation but also create a whole array of exotic artifacts, weapons, and gadgets. However, a problem arose as I thought about protecting these valuable creations from higher-level cultivators who might try to steal them from my storage ring.

After careful consideration, I came up with two viable options. The first involved turning my storage ring into a spirit ring that had its own spirit guardian to protect it. The second option required converting my own soul into an inner world that would be capable of defending my treasures. Although the second option sounded intriguing, I decided on the first option as it seemed more practical and quicker to implement, as of right this moment.

To create a spirit guardian for my storage ring, I began by conjuring a spiritual array using the spiritual Qi from my amulet as ink. Then, I converted the spiritual Qi into pure water Qi and gathered it into a sphere in front of me, creating a vessel of sorts. Next, I infused the vessel with spiritual energy and imbued it with my own divine consciousness, effectively creating an artificial spiritual being.

With my creation complete, I attached it to my storage ring and waited for it to awaken its own consciousness and become sentient. Once it awakened, it would automatically consider me its creator and spiritual beings were far more loyal to their creators rather than their masters, thus, this new magical artifact could be called 'A Spirit ring'. I also made sure that I ensured it was safe when I wasn't present inside my ring, as it would be extremely useful should I ever fall ill or suffer a setback due to injuries. In order to make sure that the guardian wasn't damaged or lost, I created a temporary containment barrier between my spirit ring and my storage rings, preventing anyone from opening them without me noticing.

Once my amulet and ring were finished I spent some time pacing and thinking,

while I got used to the feeling of drawing energy from my amulet. My personal supply

of Qi worked more like physical fatigue than the mana bar in a

computer game, and I got the feeling I could damage myself if I tried to use

too much magic too quickly.

But my artificial power source was more like a machine. It could feed

me energy forever, and drawing on it let me work without tiring

myself. There was still some mental fatigue involved in channeling the

Qi, but I could go for hours before that started to get to me. So what

was the next most important problem we were going to face that I could fix

with my newfound knowledge?

What was next now?

Well, that was obvious.

An army for which I needed easy-to-control animals and fast-growing plants that were easy to transport. As well as the ability to manipulate them, although they might require training. Fortunately, with my newfound knowledge and ability to turn ordinary things into spiritual beings, I had a foothold to raise a loyal and obedient group of cultivators that I could train efficiently, and with enough time, they could accomplish anything I wished.

With the plan in place, I knew the next step was to procure the necessary resources. I decided to delegate the task to Wang Cheng. Before calling him, I made use of some used-up spirit stones and imbued them with archaic runes, turning them into useful array flags for formation nodes. With the formation drawn out on paper, I was ready to summon Wang Cheng.

As I sent a sound transmission to summon Wang Cheng, I patiently waited for his arrival. When he finally stumbled into my room, panting heavily, I couldn't help but feel a little amused by his appearance.

"Young Master, what do you require of me?" Wang Cheng asked as he bowed,

"I need you to procure some animal babies and fast-growing plants," I said, handing him the paper with the formation drawn on it and the array nodes made from empty spirit stones. "And use this formation next time you decide to dual cultivate. You live in a house full of cultivators, you know? That means you should stop putting on a bloody sex show."

Wang Cheng's face turned bright red as he glanced at the paper, clearly embarrassed by my blunt words. Despite this, he quickly regained his composure and bowed politely. "Young master, I will see what I can do," he said before turning to leave.

As he reached for the door, he hesitated and turned back to look at me once more before bowing once again and closing the door behind him. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself as I watched him leave, amused by his flustered reaction.
