Central year 1639, May 5, 8:25am
Capital Qua-Toyne, Prime Minister's Office
Yagou had his nerves on edge this past week, many skirmishes were taking in the city of Ejey, most of them were just small conflicts with scouting parties. What was taking his sleep away was the 4,400 ships approaching Mihark, the 2,000 ships of the Qua Tonian fleet were not strong enough to stop them from attacking the city.
"Mr. Prime Minister, the Brazilian embassy has a message." One of the parliament officials came in and warned him.
"Finally! talk soon." All the fatigue seemed to go away and his hope was renewed.
The official was a little startled by Yagou's shout, but did as he was told.
"According to the Brazilian government, in response to the Kayraorg massacre, the Peace Mission in Rodenius has been declared, to bring those guilty of this barbarity to justice."
"Have they said anything about mobilizing their military?" Yagou feared that if Mihark was blockaded, Quila would run out of food in a few weeks.
"The cruiser CMG Liberdade which is stationed in Mihark harbor will intercepted the Lourian fleet, they asked us to send an observer and not to interfere during the battle."
What was most surprising was that they would send only 1 ship against four thousand, even if Yagou knew the powerful Brazilian weapons, it was still a big numerical difference.
"Only one ship? They didn't say anything else?"
"The ambassador just said to enjoy the view."
Yagou sighed and decided to trust Brazil and its crazy gadgets, he wondered what Admiral Kylor's reaction would be to such a statement.
Later that day Admiral Kylor received the message and was incredulous, for him who was a long time sailor, sending someone there would be a death sentence. Even though he had seen the country first hand, he still needed a physical proof to convince the old men that made up the parliament.
For this mission he decided to call someone as out of the box as Brazil itself.
"You sent for me?" The man Kylor entrusted with the mission was a friend of his who owed him a favor.
"Yes I did, it's good to see you in one piece, Glenn"
The man was an elf who looked to be at least about 40 years old, but make no mistake, any image of an elf that anyone from the modern world had not apply to him, Glenn was disheveled with a shabby drunk face.
"What does the great admiral need a simple sailor for?"
"Funny as always, remember that favor you owed me?"
Basically, Glenn was an unemployed bum who had no desire to look for work at all, when Kylor took over as admiral he gave him a job as a sailor.
"Like you're going to let me forget, what do you need from me?"
"Did you hear about the recently relocated country?"
"Obvious, the drunks in the bars are just talking about it."
"I want you to go to one of their ships as an observer."
This caught Glenn's attention, normally this would be assigned to an officer with a higher rank.
"Okay I'll go, but why did you choose just me?"
"Because the ship you will be going on will set off in the direction of an armada of four thousand ships to fight them alone."
If it were possible to describe facial expressions in words, the one that would represent the elf's face would be 'are you kidding me?'
"Is this a mission or a death sentence?"
"I know you think it's crazy, but see for yourself before you say anything, so are you going or not?" Underneath Kylor's expression was a slightly sadistic smile.
"Apparently I can't say no, right?"

That night, Mihark harbor, 7:11 pm
The cities in Qua-Toyne were totally deserted and very dark after the sun went down, but in the harbor something was attracting a lot of attention, a huge ship as brightly lit as a ballroom.
A man was waiting for him on the pier, in charge of guiding him to the ship's captain. As he walked around the interior, Glenn couldn't help but be surprised at the size, unlike a ditching ship where most of them lived squeezed in, here everything was custom made.
After climbing a few stairs they found themselves facing a completely closed metal door, Glenn wondered how they would get through there, but answering his question the sailor put a small square piece of metal taken from his pocket against the wall, making the door magically open.
"Welcome aboard the guided missile cruiser Liberdade, I am Captain Second Class Queiroz Valerie."
"I am the observer assigned by Qua-Toyne, my name is Glenn Matters."
The observer saluted the captain by slamming his right fist into his left chest, Queiroz awkward at first, but returned the length with a salute.
"Mister Glenn, I believe you are aware of the Lourian fleet heading toward this port.*
"Admiral Kylor told me about it."
"That makes things easier, their arrival is scheduled to be in 74 hours, we will intercept them ten kilometers from here."
"Captain, I don't want to doubt your strength, but fighting alone is crazy, don't you think they need reinforcements?"
The captain just smiled and put his hand on his shoulder.
"We are the reinforcement."

Lourian Armada, March 8, 1639
Open sea, a few kilometers from Mihark
"Bro, I can't wait to get my hands on an elf!"
One of the advantages of being part of the Lourian armed forces was that they could loot and pillage at will, anything, even women...
"I don't give a damn about that, I just want the money enough to pay off my debt to that collector."
"You haven't done it yet? He had said he was going to take your son as collateral if you didn't pay."
"And he almost did, but I sent the boy away as collateral, I have until this month to pay."
Without the two noticing, someone approached.
"The air is pretty fresh here, isn't it?"
The two sailors almost choked as they turned to see the admiral of the armada, they both bowed to him.
"Sorry admiral, we hadn't noticed you."
"No problem, I understand the excitement, but remember to fight first and take the spoils later."
"Yes sir!"
As the two left, Admiral Sharkun went on to admire the sight of his mighty armada, the over four thousand ships he controlled.
Sharkun remembered his idea of suggesting to King Hark to use them with the intention of invading Parpaldia after they won the war at Rodenius, but discarded his ambition when he traveled on business to the third civilization's superpower, being introduced to a new weapon, the 'cannon', an iron tube capable of launching large metal projectiles at a much greater distance than the bow and arrow, with each projectile sinking a ship.
Sharkun knew that facing this would be madness, no matter how many their numbers if they are shot down like flies without even being able to fight back.
"Land in sight!" The ship's scout shouted bringing him out of his thoughts.
"It's finally going to start." Sharkun smiled as he thought of the carnage to come.
The sailors were very euphoric and anxious to get to dry land, no one knew that they were heading straight for the clutches of death.
"Ship in sight!" The scout again warned, which made Sharkun look for the vessel.
It didn't take long to locate it, it was a very strange ship, for even if it was a good kilometer away its size was abnormal, sails couldn't be seen either and its color was gray, almost as if it was made of iron. Sharkun laughed at the idea of such a possibility, if even Parpaldia didn't have one, how could a bunch of half-humans?
"Full speed ahead, let's get them!" The admiral ordered and all the ships followed.
When they were about 10km away going towards the enemy, a small flash of light could be seen coming out of that ship, it was very fast and if you weren't paying attention you wouldn't be able to see it. Right after that the ship next to it was engulfed in flames almost instantly.
"What the hell happened?" Sharkun shouted in astonishment, had something caught fire inside? No, the flames engulfed him very quickly.
The same thing began to occur in rapid succession to all the other ships beside him, every minute that passed about 80 ships simply caught fire after a flash of light, and every time it was possible to see the enemy vessel glowing in the distance.
Five minutes passed and the sea was ablaze with the wreckage of every ship, Admiral Sharkun seemed to be losing his sanity with the conclusion he came to.
"It's not possible! How do these inferiors have cannons?" Only Parpaldia had them, and they wouldn't sell them to another country, not to mention the fact of accuracy, the big three-masted ships had 100 cannons for a reason, their accuracy was terrible, but here they were, being destroyed over 10km away.

20 minutes after the start of the battle
Cruiser CMG Liberdade, Command Room
For a while Glenn thought he was in some crazy dream, seeing his biggest enemies being killed like ants was really great, but he started to feel sorry for these people who had no way to even fight and just waited for the slaughter.
"Captain, what is this magic weapon you guys are using?"
"It's no magica, it's a 76mm OTO Melara Super Rapid cannon, with a range of 20km and a cadence of 140 shots per minute."
(Explanation: The CMG Liberdade is a Russian Slava class cruiser, its original name was Ukrayina and it was unfinished rusting in one of the Mykolaiv ports in Ukraine until it was purchased in 2017 by Brazil. It went through extensive modifications and upgrades until it was commissioned into the Brazilian navy, some of which were the installation of modern radar systems, new missile launchers both anti-ship and anti-aircraft and countermeasures, and the addition of the 76mm OTO Melara cannon
end of explanation).
Glenn felt a chill run down his spine wondering what would happen to his country trying to fight this, luckily they were on the same side.
"Things are going well, but this way it will take too long to destroy everyone, launch the Super Lynx and let's get this over with fast."
A helicopter can be seen taking off flying from the rear of the ship, armed with four miniguns and heading towards the enemy fleet.

Back to the Lourian fleet
There was no hope of victory anymore, over 2000 ships were now a floating pile of rubble and they were not even close to the enemy vessel.
"Return now! We'll fight another day."
The admiral gave the order which was transmitted via signal flags to the rest of the armada, who began to make a 180 degree turn to escape while being relentlessly bombarded. The claws of death would not let them go so easily and show them the true terror.
A buzzing sound began to be heard by the sailors, searching for the source of the sound, they looked up only to see an iron dragon coming towards them.
"By the gods, what is that?" Sharkun wondered only for a voice to answer him.
"W-with do they have it? Only Mu possesses them!" The one who uttered this was the observer sent by the Parpaldia Empire.
"What is that thing?"
"A 'plane', a flying metal contraption that Mu invented, but this one looks a little different"
The admiral seemed to have his soul withdrawn upon hearing this, a weapon of the superpower of the second civilization, Mu was on the battlefield.
Some kind of buzzing began to be heard and from the wings of the flying contraption some kind of beam of light began to fall on the fleet, the places that were hit had hundreds of bullet holes in them.
The battle that was a massacre became a complete extermination, in another ten minutes the whole fleet was reduced to just a floating pile of wood, but by some miracle only one ship survived, being spared from the cannon fire and the helicopter that purposely let it get away.
