50 years later
Tama sat down after a long day of working. The bounty hunters had taken her to a remote region of the galaxy to be sold on the black market. She sighed as she looked up at the stars outside her hut. For years she had awaited her friends to return, to come get her. For even anyone to come get her. But as each year passed, her hopes of getting off this planet fell. Ships came and went, but none of them carried a familiar face. If her friends were to rescue her, they would have done it by now. Tama couldn’t decide which was worse: assuming they were all dead, or had forgotten about her. It bore holes in her hearts to have to compare her friends abandoning her to the feeling that they died, but Tama had lived the last end of her life in isolation from them. My Wookieepedia article was right, thought Tama. I did disappear.
