Chapter 19

“I go for five minutes and they’re gone!” exclaimed Vori, walking back to Sel’s ship. She sat down and pulled out Adala’s lightsaber. She shook it. A small tracking device popped out.

“Perfect,” said Vori, plugging in the device into the ship. A signal lit up, displaying Adala’s position at a recently visited location.

“Again?” sighed Vori. The little beacon lit up at the exact location of the enemy ship which they had boarded a day ago. “Can’t I ever catch a break?” Vori could have sworn she heard the evil maniacal laughter of two sadistic teenagers but shook her head. That wasn’t logical. Thoughts about her old life as part of the Jedi Ascendancy clouded her minds. What would happen to the rest of the jedi? Turi obviously wanted to get rid of them somehow. But how?

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Her thoughts shifted from the Jedi Ascendancy to Lada. She had gone through two masters in a span of two days. For all Vori knew, the message that Sel was dead might not have even left Globnar yet. Vori left the ship on autopilot and attempted to meditate, but found herself unable to. She took a deep breath and tried to connect with the force.

Vori awoke in some meditational state. She found herself unable to move, but deduced she was seeing through a pair of eyes. A long dark corridor lay ahead, much like the ones on the big starship. Vori felt her host shivering as the host traversed through the ship. The host said something incomprehensible.

“Excellent,” said General Var, patting her host on the head. “Our plan is set. Now all we have to do is wait.” Vori was taken aback. Her vision started to distort between her current place and her vision. She tried to keep the vision, but it slowly reverted back to real life.

“Wait for what?” Vori asked herself, thinking of possible things Var could be planning. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”
