-Giron Franlo-
Following the man in the tunnel of the ruins. I stare at the man's defenseless back only to feel that he doesn't see us as a threat. Not out of familiarity but just sees us as weak beings that he can dispatch easily.
Ignoring the feeling of humiliation as a warrior from his treatment, I look at Theia's condition as Palas carries her on his back. Seeing that her bleeding has already stopped and her condition stable, I turn towards Anna whom Byron is carrying.
Noticing that she's slowly recovering because of the medicine that the man gave, I sigh out of relief as I see that her ragged breathing has become stable as well.
"… Thank you."
Hearing me thank him, he turns his head towards us with a look of amusement.
"That's rare."
Hearing his amused voice made us flinch as we continued to follow him. Seeing him look at the front again made my shoulders feel light. Noticing that feeling, I can't help but look at the man in shock as I realize that he was putting pressure on us the whole time we were walking.
"Your race was pretty famous for being a prideful bunch even when in front of someone strong, so I'm pretty surprised that you were able to say that."
"… We changed… after our race's strongest warrior, Raging Horn, insulted the Drunken Titan."
"Hah. What a bunch of idiots."
"Even if Raging Horn made a mistake, I ask of you to not insult the dignity of our warriors. Drunken Titan invaded our race's Star System and started a massacre!"
After snapping back at him, I realized my mistake and I immediately closed my mouth.
"Dignity, huh? I don't know about dignity but I know what kind of being Drunken Titan is."
"… What do you mean? "
"Whatever it is, Drunken Titan will never invade and start a massacre from the last time that I saw him. So, it's better that you find out the reason instead of making an outsider guess."
As if ending that conversation, silence enveloped us as we continued walking.
After a few minutes of walking, he suddenly stopped making us do the same. Being taller than him, I look in front to see a spacious hall with pillars supporting the ceiling.
Noticing that the place didn't look that dark even when we were walking through the tunnel. I noticed some parts of the walls and pillars glowing bright enough to slightly illuminate the area.
"What is this place?"
Muttering those words as I look at the scene in front of us. I notice a slightly stronger light in the middle of the hall with something floating in the middle.
"A place to hide something."
He replies as he starts walking.

-Resha-
"Stay here."
After telling Giron Franlo and the others to stay, I started walking towards the center, I looked at the small floating crystal as it glowed warmly in the center of the hall.
'Two thousand years, huh.'
Having those thoughts, I stand in front of the crystal watching it just float. As if welcoming me after a long time, it glows brighter than usual. A translucent barrier shines as it detects me approaching.
Smiling as I reach out with my left hand towards the crystal making it float out of the barrier and land on my hand.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"Sorry for asking you to sleep for so long."
Muttering those words, I jump away from my spot as a sword grazes my left shoulder out of nowhere.
Turning my head to the perpetrator, I look at him coldly as he stares at me with a wide smile.
"Finally someone took out that damn crystal out of that annoying barrier!"
Frowning as I hear his excited voice. I clench my hand as I take a step towards him only to stop as something starts squirming out of my shoulder.
Turning my head at it, tentacles started squirming out of the grazed part of my shoulder. Seeing that made me realize something as cold rage started welling up in my chest.
Controlling the life force inside my body, I started pouring a massive amount of life force into the tentacles. Squirming fiercely as a massive life force started pouring, its movement slowly became stiff as cracks appeared throughout the tentacles before it finally stopped moving.
Reaching out with my right hand, I crush the tentacles as if it was just a piece of rock. As the things preventing the cut from closing disappear, the cut closes itself immediately.
"Hoh, you were able to remove the infection. Seeing that you're the only one without any wounds compared to those weaklings at the entrance, I guess you're the one that killed off that guardian that I painstakingly tried to control."
Hearing him prattling with no end made me annoyed as the rage inside me spread.
"Well, now that you're facing me, you will become one of the slaves that I will offer to my beautiful, generous and benevolent Godd-"
"Shut that mouth of yours, worm."
Cutting him off, his smiling face disappeared as he looked at me with a frown.
"Hey… don't you know that it's rude to cut me off while I'm praising my Goddess, huh? Did your parents not teach you that cutting someone off is rude? They should have known better when they wer-"
"I said shut that mouth of yours, worm."
As annoyance welled off me, I put some of my life force in my voice making him shut his mouth while taking a step back.
"You… you…!"
Seeing him snap from anger, he charges at me while swinging his sword with all his strength.
Dodging his attacks, I take a step back as he continues swinging his sword. Every swing and every movement of his became predictable the more he attacks as anger consumes him the more he misses.
"As expected, worms that lost their minds are no different from a normal worm."
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU MU- GAH!"
Finding an opening from his attacks, I throw a punch with my right fist to his elbow. Seeing his elbow bend in a way no one normally can do, I launch another punch to his body that sent him flying.
"UHK!"
Using the first level of my concept, the life force that I was using increased as my body became stronger. Looking at him as he crashes into the wall, I use my body to its limit and move towards the worm.
Crossing the distance easily, I arrive in front of him. Raising my leg, I crush his hands by kicking them along with the sword that he's holding.
"KU-"
Without letting him groan, I step back and grab his head.
"I'll take you for a walk, worm."
Saying those words coldly, I start running while dragging his face on the wall. Feeling his bloodlust erupt, I jump away as he swings his sword.
Watching him pull his head out of the wall, I look at his hands that regenerate as tentacles squirm through his skin.
"… You… bastard…"
I can't help but frown as I watch tentacles squirm out of the crushed side of his face. More and more of the tentacles squirm out as they coil around and slowly change into his face from before.
"You worms really are disgusting."
"I'll… I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL CUT ALL OF YOUR LIMBS BEFORE I OFFER YOU TO MY GODDESSSSSSSSSS!!!"
Screaming as he charges at me, I can't help but scoff at his degraded state as he attempts to stab me with the sword.
Moving to his side, I kick his knee making him drop to the ground as he loses balance. Not letting him move, I followed up with a kick to send him sliding straight to a pillar destroying it.
Approaching the pillar that he broke through, I grabbed it and broke it off from the ceiling with one hand.
"I… I WON- KUAK!"
"Just shut up, will you?"
Swinging the pillar before he could even recognize anything, I sent him flying to the wall as blood splattered all over the place.
Not letting him recover enough to say anything, I hold the end of the pillar and throw it towards the worm. Dashing towards the end of the pillar, I send a strong kick to it as blood explodes at the wall.
'Time to end this.'
Walking towards the wall, I notice a lump of flesh crawl out in between the pillar and the wall.
"Damn cockroach."
Approaching the lump of flesh, I grab it as it starts struggling while its tentacles squirm fiercely. Holding it tightly, a mouth forms near my hand.
Seeing it, I pour my life force inside it making the tentacles squirm fiercely.
"Nyooo… lyet gyo…!"
Ignoring the sounds that the lump of flesh is making, I pour more and more life force inside his body.
Pouring so much lifeforce inside it, the tentacles started slowing down as their movement stiffened and cracks slowly appeared from them.
The only way to kill beings like them that almost feel like an immortal because of what their Goddess made, is to pour so much life force inside them till their body can't handle it or destroy them till they can't regenerate anymore.
Like all beings, they all have different amounts of life force. They get weaker the more they use it, and they get stronger if they get more. However, everything has limits. Except for the true gods the goddess of these worms got its power from.
"My… GoDdEs-"
As the lump of flesh struggles one last time as it calls for its goddess, it stops moving as its body hardens from receiving too much life force.
"Even in the end, you worms are disgusting."
Throwing the hardened flesh on the floor, it shatters into countless fragments.
