Spider-Man and Cindy Moon stood face to face in their apartment. After he told her vaguely what he was planning to do next, the symbiote began detaching a small portion of itself from Eren Parker's body.
It knew all along that Eren was planning something. It was connecting to one of the smartest people it could have ever bonded to, it knew exactly what he was capable of. Similarly to how the symbiote was able to absorb his physical abilities, it found itself also growing more intelligent with each passing day it was attached to Eren.
Before it attached to the young hero, Venom was nothing more than a mindless parasite that wanted nothing more than to devour humans and take over the planet as it was programmed to do. However, its intelligence multiplied due to Eren Parker's.
Finally being capable of planning like a truly intelligent being, the Prime Symbiote foresaw Eren's plan and came up with its own Plan B, despite Eren attempting to foresee this Plan B himself.
"You're changing, Eren." Cindy told Spider-Man, failing to notice the minuscule piece of the symbiote seeping from his Spider-Matter. "This isn't you. At Connors's funeral, you-"
"That was just me playing the role I placed myself in. Those were just words" Eren said, interrupting her, he too failing to notice the symbiote planning anything.
Cindy shook her head in disbelief. "I find that hard to believe. You know how I said earlier that I can feel something crying for help? At first, I thought it was that... thing inside. Now I realize who it really is."
Eren's eyebrows furrowed, he didn't really understand what she was getting at. "And who would that be?"
"It's you." Cindy told him. "It's Eren Parker."
Eren paused for a second, not saying a word. It seemed as if Cindy's words struck something within him. After a few moments, Eren grabbed Cindy's hand and spoke gently to her. "You might be right." he said before grabbing her other hand and holding them together. It was at this moment that the Venom, the Prime Symbiote, used this chance to crawl onto Cindy Moon's body, going unnoticed by either of the two spiders.
They were far too busy looking into each other's pained eyes to notice, and the symbiote had the ability to bypass their special sense. Slowly, the symbiote crawled from Spider-Man's gloved hand onto Cindy Moon's before letting itself become absorbed into her skin as Spider-Man spoke his next words.
"Don't worry, I'll get rid of this thing soon. Until then..." Spider-Man started expelling webs from his wrists, locking her hands together. "You're staying here." This action was enough of a distraction to where Cindy Moon didn't even feel the symbiote, just the webs covering her hands.
Spider-Man then left the building and killed the Green Goblin. Shortly after that, he destroyed the symbiote, or at least, he thought he did. What he didn't know was that the smallest piece of it still existed inside his own girlfriend's body, remaining undetected and remaining dormant. Even if just a single cell remained, the symbiote could live on, though it would have to stay in its minuscule size and feed off of the current host's nutrients ever so slightly, so much so that it was unnoticed until it could find its desired host to take over.
Cindy Moon was compatible in every single way imaginable, her body was perfect for Venom. The many timelines where it took control of her body were proof of that. However, trying to take control of her while sleeping next to Eren Parker every night would be too dangerous, it needed to transfer itself to someone else.
That wasn't the only reason why Venom didn't choose her.
Venom wanted to kill Cindy Moon in front of Eren Parker. It wanted him to once again have to watch her get torn to shreds by Venom's hand. If she was the host, that wouldn't have been possible.
This was the same reason why Eren's closest friend Harry Osborn wasn't chosen.
And so, the Prime Symbiote simply waited for the right moment to transfer itself to someone who was compatible, someone whom it knew it could control.
Once the symbiote overheard from within Cindy's body that Eren and his friends would be going on a beach trip, it knew that there would be plenty of bodies to search for a new host through. Looking through Cindy's eyes, the symbiote scanned through hundreds of beachgoers until it decided on the perfect target.
Flash Thompson.
His body was compatible.
He was weak-minded.
And his body was at peak performance for a human.
He was perfect.
So Venom waited, it waited until the end of the day when the group of friends took that photo with each other.
Slowly, the symbiote transferred itself from Cindy Moon back to Eren Parker before making its way through Eren's arm and onto Flash Thompson. Once the transfer was complete, the symbiote knew that it had bested Eren Parker.
Hours later, when Flash Thompson and Gwen Stacy found themselves alone in Flash's car parked in front of her home, Flash could feel a pang of hunger begin to overwhelm him.
It was the symbiote controlling his brain, convincing him that he needed sustenance to survive through words that seemed to be entering his brain at random.

Flash's body began to tremble as he was holding back that fixation and Gwen took notice. "Flash?" she asked, looking over at him as he was pulling at his own hair, staring blankly in front of him as his body trembled ever so slightly.
"No!" Flash yelled, hearing the voices in his head telling him to do something that he would rather die than let happen. However, despite not wanting to do it, Flash succumbed to the symbiote and lunged over at Gwen, pinning her by the arms as he hovered over her.
"Flash?" Gwen once again muttered, having a look of absolute horror on her face. "Is- Is this some kind of joke? You're scaring me!"
Flash's expression was that of nothing less than pure horror. Never in her life had Gwen seen such an expression. His eyebrows were raised and scrunching toward each other, and his eyes were wide, almost popping out of their sockets. His teeth were grinding against each other, his nose was scrunched, and tears were falling from his face.
He looked as if he'd completely lost it. He looked as if a demon was trying to take control of his body, but Flash Thompson was holding it back to the best of his ability.
"I- I- I can't stop myself, Gwen. I'm so sorry..." Flash could barely speak as his voice trembled along with his entire mouth. Gwen didn't know what to do or say, she couldn't move or anything due to Flash's strength.
A parasite taking over his brain was the furthest from being a thought in her mind. "Stop yourself from what?" Gwen was afraid that he was going to force himself on her with the way he was saying things and the position they were in, though this was not the case.
Flash's jaw unhinged itself before he slowly lowered himself down onto Gwen's face, still holding her in place by her wrists. All Gwen could do was shriek in fear as Flash's jaws slowly made their way toward her left eyeball, exposing his new sharp teeth to her for the first time.
Her cries grew louder as Flash Thompson began to suck her eyeball out of its socket, chewing on it as if it were a boiled egg, her cornea popping his mouth like the yolk. As if he were consuming spaghetti, Flash's lips wrapped around the optic nerve of her eyeball as it hung from his mouth before slurping it into his mouth and chewing down on it, creating a surprising crunch.
Gwen was screaming so loudly due to the agonizing pain and the fear overwhelming her body that her throat began to give out. Even if she could continue to scream, it wouldn't have mattered as Flash Thompson targeted her tongue next, grabbing it with his mouth before pulling it out of her mouth like taffy.
Her tongue stretched outward a few inches before it could be heard snapping out from her mouth, causing Flash's head to reel back as he lost his balance. He only took a few bites of the tongue, which tasted and felt as if it was melting in his mouth before swallowing and going straight for her face once again, gnawing at her nose as the sound of teeth chewing through the cartilage reverberated through the walls of the automobile.
Gwen was still alive at this point, however, she was barely even conscious. Her arms and legs would twitch every once in a while as she felt her face slowly being devoured by who was once her boyfriend. She was in so much pain that if her tongue was still in one piece, she would have been begging to be killed.
Flash then made his way to her neck, chewing and suckling around the bones inside until he found the thyroid and began pulling it from within her throat, the thyroid sharing a texture similar to chicken feet. He then hastily ripped her clothes apart and began chewing into her chest, removing the skin and prying her ribs apart to reveal her heart which was still moving ever so slightly, though it was slowed to the point where she was clearly no longer among the living.
Using his new elongated tongue, Flash sucked her gamey textured heart out from behind her rib cage, biting down on it simultaneously with an imaginary heart's beat before swallowing it whole. Its taste reminded him of venison, reminding him of the time he and his father went hunting for deer for sport.
Using his hand that was beginning to form talons, Flash began digging into her chest and abdomen while pulling out different internal organs to dine on, one by one.
He started with her left lung, pulling it out with his right hand before taking a bite out of it as if it were an oversized slice of New York pizza. The taste was metallic, tasting like pennies as the slimy meat slid down the back of his throat. That overwhelming craving of needing to devour human flesh or else he'd die was beginning to fade.
However, he was still hungry.
He then went for her right lung, yanking it out of her chest as a piece of mystery meat dangled between his fingers. Flash then held the lung up high and caught the dangling bits with his lips and tongue before sucking the iron-like meat into his mouth and taking a bite from the bottom of the lung. Like the other lung, it didn't take long before he consumed it whole.
Using two hands, Flash dug his hands into opposite sides of Gwen's corpse, pulling out her kidneys and holding them in front of his face, staring at them like a miner who found gold. In single bites, Flash devoured each Kidney, only taking a few chews before practically swallowing them whole. Like the lungs, they tasted like bitter coins as the smell of waste started to fill his nose, though that didn't stop him.
Flash's talon-filled hand then grabbed her stomach, puncturing it and causing stomach acid to begin pouring out of it. Not wanting any of that cherished nectar to go to waste, Flash scooped the stomach up with both hands, along with her stomach's liquids, and began consuming it all.
The taste was putrid, but at the same time, that bitter yet sour taste of bile was checking all of his boxes. He began chewing on the balloon-like textured organ, it was rubbery but it tasted amazing to him. The smell of bile began to take over any other smell, which was horrid yet pleasant at the same time.
Realizing he skipped the liver, Flash scooped it out and ate it all in one bite. This part of the body had an interesting taste to it, being somewhat sweet, but at the same time, it was bitter and acidic. The jelly-like texture made it feel as if the organ was dissipating on his tongue, almost like jelly candy.
Next was the pancreas. Flash didn't use his hands, just his tongue to scoop the somewhat nutty-tasting organ from the inside of her body. It was surprising, it was sort of bread-like in texture to him, sort of sweet with a smooth texture.
Then Flash began to consume her intestines, which had a similar texture and flavor to the stomach, minus the taste of bile. It was bitter and rubbery, and Flash loved every last bit of it...
He realized that he hadn't tried her brain yet. Gwen was smart, so he knew her genius would probably have made it taste even better and he was excited to try it out for himself. Using two hands, Flash crushed her skull with his newfound superhuman strength, causing a bit of brain to splatter on the seat and windows, and even a little bit hit him in the face.
Using a single finger, Flash wiped his face and gave that piece of the brain a taste...
It was glorious.
It was savory and somewhat fishy. Sort of like sushi. Quickly, Flash pulled her head closer and began eating out of it like a dog eating its wet food from a bowl, using his long tongue to thoroughly clean out the inside of her skull until there was nothing left.
As if he had awoken from a trance, Flash Thompson looked down at both hands which were covered in blood, mystery meat, and mystery liquids before looking down at what was left of his girlfriend.
Her chest and head were completely open, showing her insides and her skull as she lay there lifeless. Flash began to tremble, unable to comprehend what kind of monster he had become. Memories of Eren Parker, every Eren Parker, began to flash through his brain due to the symbiote passing them on to him.
He understood everything.
He understood all of Eren's pain.
He understood what being a hero meant to him and what it made him do.
He saw the future that Earth would become.
He understood that he would be the reason the world would end.
