[Subclass available: Kinetic Soul crafter]
Subclass? Agatha never mentioned something like that before. Yet if it would help me grow in power why would I say no? Accepting with little thought to it the sound of running water entered my auditory senses again informing it was time to wake up. Cold steel in my hand made me adjust uncomfortably while still semi asleep laying on my back. Wait... Cold? How could I feel cold with my immunity? Rolling my head on the ground slowly, using my shoulder to get other hand plated to help myself, I sat up feeling something metal slide off my stomach and onto the floor. A dagger with a golden handle that looped to its front to create a guard like a standard fencing sword, the face of the shield had immaculately crafted runes more complex then anything I had seen before engraved onto it each one no bigger then the tip of nail culminating into thousands maybe tens of thousands different miniature runes. Past its cross guard onto the blade itself a beautiful crystalline deep blue with shapes of lighter shades of blue occasionally shifting over it.
[Housing of souls-Legendary Tier: Any person who dies within the catacombs of Rixford or as a direct result of the wielder of the blade has their soul stored within this weapon until they are either released by the wielder or consumed]
interesting... Staring deep into the blade itself was mesmerizing. Glyphs and runes filled the space around it hovering momentarily before dissipating into the surrounding magics surrounding it. As the light blue continued shifting I looked toward my surroundings, a small stream ran through this cavern with large pillars spreading out in perfect ten meter intervals. Having no option but to see where this path leads I went to pocket the dagger when I was met with two yellow shapes looking out from the dagger with a hateful glare of resentment.
"Well if this isn't divine retribution I don't know what is"
Smirking I slipped the resplendent dagger into my breastplate creating a sheathe with the excess cloth. Standing up I reviewed my stats,
HP 25/145
SP 5/165
Mana 15/175
How the fuck? I feel fine, better then fine in fact. As if a demonic answer to my wonderfully simple question, a horrible putrid smell assaulted my nostrils, my breastplate was fine but smoke started escaping through the neck opening in the metal. Stripping off the breastplate my frilled party shirt had holes that looked like burnt paper filling throughout, with green liquid along the rims.
[Venom of the Flesh Hydra-Third Tier: A mix of hemotoxic and neurotoxic venom. Makings blood thinner making bleeding happen at increasing rate, neurotoxins make the venom trick the victims synapse into mistaking self produced pain related chemicals for a dopamine producing substance]
Shit. Fully undressing then walking over to the stream running through the cave I reached down with a cupped hand letting the water fill between the gaps of my fingers. Bringing my hand to my chest quickly I splashed water onto the wounds which sizzled upon contact with the venom. Ten or so minutes of me letting the water dilute the venom enough for it to be rubbed off the intense pain hit all at once. It was like being lit on fire and acid being the only non-flammable liquid nearby you could use to douse yourself with. Each splash became momentary agony with the only break coming once the burn was cleaned in it's entirety.

Taking a knee I realized fully I couldn't continue in this death trap like this. Using the last of my mana I made a small Ice igloo to crawl into and meditated while regaining stats slowly. After about six or seven hours my stats will all be replenished. Thanks to this new breastplate at least, mana was the easiest to regain and generally took two hours for the average person to fully regain. Stamina was more difficult because it would replenish within a few hours but if you spent it again before your HP was full it would deplete much more quickly, basically being sore without resting enough for the muscle to be used again. Muscles don't get weaker per se but they do take more energy to use again if they weren't rebuilt. Health was usually the biggest bitch to replenish, if it is bad enough it could take months for something like a broken bone to be fixed, and your HP would reflect that. Unless of course you got a super OP breastplate that is...

Zarlessa POV
"So what do we do now?" Typhis limped over and asked holding his shoulder.
Laying on my stomach I stared down into the abyss that the creature and Jayce fell into in a frantic search for a way to get down there. "We have to save him. Can you bring the floor up? Or maybe, I don't know, make a stair case down?" I said trying to find any way to get down to Jayce while he is alone with that horrid monster.
"That isn't how my magic works... Besides I think it's safe to assume your friend is dead. No need to follow in his ill begotten footsteps is there?"
"Or I could throw you down there to check and see if it is possible. Besides I hear water what if theres a underground lake or something, he would live the fall for sure!" I said a little more impassioned then I intended
Typhis brought a finger to his lips and crossed his arms, "Well what about the fact the thing had him wrapped up in it's... Arms? Tentacle? Weapon?"
Fuck. I had fortunately forgot about that part.
Getting into a ready stance Typhis turned his back to me, "Besides we have our own issues currently"
Darkness dispersed slowly seemingly as a result of the creature being out of the vicinity, revealing a horde of skeletons clad in midnight black armor and red fireballs displayed prominently on the center of their breastplate. Creaking and chattering filled the cavern as they all turned in one motion to stare directly at the two of us. Holding the staff in one hand and the sword in the other I sighed loudly,
"Catch princess" I threw Tyohis [Hades Inferno] the wonderfully made bronze sword, which he caught without looking and felt the balance to it, seemingly satisfied he held it with the sword facing the opposite direction his body face. Stomping hard onto the ground a block of cobble stone flew into the air, cutting the stone in multiple blocks using the sword they all caught in a purple blaze. Raising the foot that started the ability he spun and heel kicked the now flaming blocks of rock into the crowd making fire spread amongst the horde of undead. Burning brightly for a moment the skeletons that got hit by the rocks all broke and stayed down. The freshly enflamed undead appeared entirely unaffected by the malevolent purple flames and just continued their movement towards the two of us. To our back was the chasm that held Jayce and the monster, in front of us was a hundred flame resistant skeletons.
"I think we might be in danger" Typhis spoke fright showing shamelessly on his face.
