Globs of deep green venom fell drop by drop from the creatures lower jaw, past its crooked shark life teeth extending in all directions except for straight up. A forked black tongue swayed hungrily side to side as its yellow eyes clearly relished in my face of discontent. Moving its head back the light from its gullet continued shining brighter along its long giraffe like neck green runes appeared along with where the attack was in relation to its neck. Just as the creature went to open its mouth to shoot its attack a loud screech filled the air. Typhis came flying through the air jumping off the shards of ice still lodged within the lower body of the creature and slammed its mouth closed. Momentum from his sudden tackle sent the head closer to where I was being constrained. Contorting his lower body he brought his legs up like he was swinging on a rope. Typhis brought his foot within inches of my face and kicked the staff hard into the darkness. Writhing in a wrestling match the other red eyed mouths turned quickly to take bites from Typhis who still clung onto the flailing head. "DO IT NOW" he yelled into the ever present darkness surrounding us.
Purple light shone through the shadows surrounding us. Purple hued flames a meter wide and tall made a mad dash in a perfectly straight line towards the beast who was still snapping at Typhis batting away the two other heads with wild unbalances kicks while using both of his arms the wrap the mouth of the yellow eyed head closed. Each time the other more animalistic red eyed heads went in for an attack. Making a circle underneath the beast the flames didn't encompass the entire body of the creature, forming just where the limbs met the actual torso of the monster. The green light from the monsters throat slowly died out as the head looked underneath itself in a panic. Typhis let go of the head and fell onto the stone floor letting his legs collapse under him he rolled into the flame circle. The meter high flames opening just enough to let him finish his retreat the flames immediately closed again. Turning it's attention back to me the yellow eyes narrowed while staring at me.
Sensing it's question, I said "What? This isn't MY fault?!"
Purple encompassed my vision becoming all I could see for a solid four seconds as the flames shot into the air burning the tips my hair as the creature squeezed the air from my lungs just outside the danger circle. Horrible screeches escaped from it's mouth the entire time sounding as if hell itself had created a choir and was performing for a crowd of three the voice was haunting. Stomping and rampaging while moving around it slammed itself into the floor and collided into the wall that appeared out of thin air nearly collapsing it as smoke from the embers still burning filled my nostrils. Aggressively the creature tried to put out the fires that still clung to it using its other tentacle like arm it slapped itself in a unwinnable war with its own flammability. Lifting its front two legs and rearing back a resounding cracking echoed into the dark from beneath the monster. It's rear legs broke with the sound of shattering bones making the torso drop onto the floor with its full weight. One brick crumbled, then two, continuing on until the monsters three heads displayed only shock, fear, and anger. Holding me tight the monster fell into the newly discovered depths with both of our screams falling into the dark under ground.

"JAYceee..." which got silent the more distance we covered with our fall.
Wind blowing my hair and making my eyes water was all I felt as the screeches continued from the monster as we descended. Kicking and thrashing I tried to be released as I realized we were going to be alone if I managed to survive this fall. Frantically looking around as we fell it became apparent the floor we were standing on was held up by tens, maybe hundreds of cobble stone pillars that spread out into the darkness. Reaching out with its other tendril it tried to grab onto one of these pillars causing a rope burn on itself our fall slowed momentarily until we swung mid air for a brief second. Tearing skin was seen at the tendril got ripped off continuing our fall into the void.
Finally, hitting the ground the tentacle that held me slowly unrolled upon impact accidentally softening the blow of the landing. Getting up quickly the creature laid on the floor. legs bent in unnatural ways, some had the stitching come undone sending the limb flying off into a wholly separate direction. One head slowly lifted from the ground shakily, facing the direction opposite of where I was now standing ready to fight or flee at any moment. Like a snake before it strikes it just sat up neck fully flexed beginning to turn around to where I was I scanned my new surroundings and saw a boulder large enough to cover me and dove for it sliding on my stomach on dirt before quickly crawling to put my back to it. Ten seconds later I heard a loud thud. Putting a hand on top the rock I peeked over it to see the head trying to raise itself again but being unable to.
[Flesh Hydra] A consolidation of numerous different body parts of different humanoids and monsters. Affinities for poison and fire. Able to regenerate health rapidly if within their domain.
hp 3/1245
My biggest take away was I now had a chance to end this abomination for good. Though I really hope someone at this school would be able to answer some questions about this bull shit identify skill. Why could I now see it's hp and it's name had changed to flesh hydra? Also why did it specify "their" and not it's or the 'creatures'? Priorities damnit, I reminded myself. Taking cover again I knew I needed to kill this thing now, before it could regenerate it's health. Taking inventory, no staff, still had my new armor, and checking my stats I had barely half my hp, almost no stamina, but full mana. Spending half my mana I got myself back to full health, using the other half I channeled the cold around me and made a dagger out of ice form in my hand. Peeking back over the rock the creatures head stared directly at me. Yellow glowing eyes piercing the darkness of our new battleground.
"Alright fuck stick, round two" I said as I vaulted over the boulder.
