“Ready?” A man clad in silver armor and a helmet with a sword on his side and a shield on his back asked.
Aldous picked up this sword. This was the only thing he had left of his mother apart from the fading memories. It was with this sword he would slay everyone and take his revenge!
He kept the sword on this side. This was the place where all warriors kept their swords. Some would keep the sword towards their back.
Aldous who had the same white hair and eyes as his father dressed in a light green attire. Two other accompanied the two. Their bodies were fit, and both had white hair and eyes. The reason why the three of them had, this was that over 90% of the people here had white hair and over 70% had white eyes.
The silver armored warrior's eyes visible through the opening in his helmet. They were not white and parts of his hair that fell on top of his and forehead were also not white.
They began their journey to the mountain. It would take only fifteen minutes to reach their destination. The others would take longer as their targets are located further away.
One of the two that accompanied Aldous and the man clad in armor moved closer to Aldous. He held his hands in a way which, according to the traditions of the word was a way of showing respect. He cupped his hands and bent this body as he spoke. “Young price, with your abilities you can defeat those fools,”
Young prince, that was what people called Aldous. He did not know what to think of this as most called him this way only to curry favors with him. He did not understand if they liked him or if they were forcing themselves to like him because of the power his father held in their community.
Xavier replied without glancing at the man. “Don’t be a fool. Never underestimate your opponents.”
He had doubts about if people like him or not. But that was not for everyone. He has gone with his father and has met many people. From all this, he could tell that this man did not like him. The only reason was doing this would be to curry favors with him. If he was like the others a normal person or even worse one of the infected, then these people would not even spare him a glance.
The situation in the city became worse day by day. People both infected and normal were pilling up. They had underestimated the number of people that would come. The medicines were unable to keep up with the needs of the people. Also, to make matters worse a good part of the doctors who were helping them have caught the disease.

They could not use the runes which his father found to treat the disease. They could only be used to stop the flow of magic from the Crystal. His father refused to tell him about the origins of the runes.
No matter, once I come back from this mission I will ask him once again.
They would take a different direction because the enemies can have the crystal used for enhancing the vision.

Xander’s foot stuck the tree with all his force. “How long are we supposed to stay here?”
“We only started, so I would say it will take a long time,” Replied Mia as she kept on surveying the city. She had seen no signs of anyone coming towards them.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps behind them. Off in the distance, they saw one figure approaching them.
“Who are you?” Mia asked with her voice raised.
The person looked similar to them in age. He had white eyes and hair with a light green attire.
“Who am I? My name is Aldous, you might have heard of me, but would have never seen me. I am the son of Xavier and the one who will defeat you.”
“Son of Xavier?” Mia thought. Yes, she had heard this name before. Her father had mentioned it. He said Xavier had a son named Aldous. Who could defeat people from Normal Rank easily. She did not know how he looked like until now.
“Haha. You defeating us? How are you going to defeat us? There are four of us and one of you also, you lack any knowledge of magic,” Xander said as he took his sword. “you know what? I will defeat you myself.”
If what her father said was true. What he said had to be true because she knew he would never lie to her. Then, that would mean Xander could not defeat Aldous.
Mia raised her hands to stop Xander, but she was too late. He had already rushed towards Aldous. Reckless!
Aldous smiled as Xander approached him. Let me show you the power of the one who you mocked!
He has a sword Xander thought, so I have to defeat him. Let this be the start. The start of my path towards glory!
Xander’s sword remained pointed towards Aldous’s heart. He would land a fatal strike right from the start, however, things did not go as he planned.
Before his sword reached Aldous he moved out of the way by jumping into the air. Now, Xander was below Aldous.
Aldous who was in the air stomped on Xander’s face with his right leg. Then, Aldous uses his left leg to strike on the right side of Xander’s face. By this time Xander had already dropped his sword. Xander’s hands found themselves on his face. Xander saw Aldous landing. He could not get to his sword, but he could still use magic.
Xander raised his hands signaling the earth element in his Crystal to come out. He waited for three seconds by this time, Aldous had landed on the ground
Why is it not going?! He commanded his Crystal once more, but nothing happened.
Xander’s mind forgot about his surroundings. His mind remained focused on activating the Crystal.
Being distracted in front of the enemy? Only a fool would do such a thing. Aldous thought as his hands moved towards the distracted Xander’s stomach. They moved like a rock falling down at full speed from a mountain.
Blood and saliva splattered out from Xander’s mouth. His eyes were wide. The force the strike carried were beyond anything Xander had experienced. It was the same as when his hands got torn by the beasts from his first mission.
“Xander no!” Mia shouted as she moved towards the fight followed by Emilia.
“Pathetic,” Aldous spoke as he stomped on the kneeling Xander’s face and brought it to the ground.
