The story begins on his 10th birthday when was taken in by an organization that focused on assassinations. When he was small Leo did not understand why he got chosen it was only when he got older he understood but by that time it was too late. The reason which was simple. Kids were easy to manipulate. For as long as he could remember they brought him up to be a lethal killer. Looking back, he should have tried to run away, however, this gave him a purpose more than anything.
He struggled there so he could improve the living conditions for everyone at the orphanage. He bore their pain and suffering. He bought them clothes, delicious food, toys and many more, but he had to sacrifice his own childhood for their happiness, however, he did not mind. He watched as those who were with him grow up and leave the shelter of the orphanage. He watched as new children came into the orphanage, but that did not stop him from continuing to help the orphanage.
All this changed one day when a fire broke out at the orphanage. He still remembered the scene vividly. He abandoned the mission he was doing and rushed back to the orphanage as soon as he heard the news.
The newly painted orphanage was now painted in charcoal black as smoke rose into the air with no end. People gather there, but it was already too late to save the orphanage. Then a few meters in front of the crowd were six children. They clung to each other as they watched their home fall apart and their friends die. All the happy memories they made, including the sad ones, were all falling apart in front.
Leo’s eyes were wider than the moon as his body trembled. Just two days ago he came to the orphanage and played with the kids, but now none of that mattered.
Leo could not forget this scene, no matter how hard he tried, but the story does not end here. If only life were not so cruel.
After the fire, he bought the six home and raised them. As time went on, the children forgot about the fire and enjoyed their new life however everything changed once again. Leo earned a lot from assassination mission so they could live a comfortable life, but the same thing that brought them happiness lead to its end.
It all happened that day…
Leo walked into their house to find six mutilated bodies. Arms, legs, intestines, livers, lungs, brains scattered across the living room. Their bodies ripped open. The color of the furniture and floor were now the same as blood. His scream still echoes in his mind.

“Leo you dreaming in the open?”
“Leo!”
The sound of someone calling brought Leo back to reality. The voice belonged to Emilia.
“You are the last person I expected to catch daydreaming,” She chuckled as she stood near Leo.
“Why is that?” Leo enquired.
“Well, I guess it’s the way you act and talk,” She replied without full confidence.
Both watched the sunset off in the distance as the reddish-orange sky faded away.
“Do you have any goals, Leo?” Emilia suddenly asked.
“Goals?” Leo thought for a moment “There is someone I intend to find and kill, however achieving that goal will take quite some time,” Said Leo leaving the part about his second life and also more information about Cao.
“I see well, my goal is to get strong so I can find my sister and bring her back to reunite my family,” Emilia said as her palms moved up to her upper arm as her eyes stared at the setting sun.
“I hope she is okay, I know I’ll be able to find her… I have to.”
As both stood there, the sun finally went out. All the animals including the one to whom Leo gave the fruit have now retreated towards the middle of their fences. The children that were playing before had all left. Silence now rained supreme.
“Leo, Me and Mia have decided to have dinner at the hospital with Xander so you also have to come.”
“I’m no-” Before Leo could finish his rejection Emilia took his hands and dragged him from where they stood “No, you cannot refuse!”
Emilia dragged Leo all the way to the villages back gate where Mia stood in wait. Then they went to a restaurant where they ordered four Tree Wolf meat and fried rice after which they left for the hospital.
As soon as Xander saw them, a smile came on his face as he laughed “I knew you wouldn’t let me eat the stupid hospital food.”
Mia smiled seeing his reaction she took out the food from the parcel and gave everyone their share, which was a piece of Tree Wolf meat and a plate of fried rice which they got from the hospital since they forgot to take from the restaurant.
The meat was hard to chew, and the rice tasted the same as it did back in town.
Xander and Leo sat in one bed while Mia and Emilia sat on a chair next to the bed. They enjoyed the food surrounded by the worn out beds in the bleakness of the hospital.
It was right after their finished their food than an old man approached them. His face was covered in wrinkles with white hair to accompany it “Seeing you kids like this brings back old memories,” The old man said as he laughed and took a seat near Leo.
“Ah, please tell us about them,” Emilia pleased.
Mia and Xander sighed seeing this scene as Emilia had always loved to hear stories from elders. She would ask all the elders back in town about their old stories and then say it to them.
The old man smiled at this request “Well what story should I say? Let me think.”
