It was on Tatooine. That a young boy, who lived under the cupboard beneath the stairs, was raised to capture moisture. With his Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and cousin Dudley.
The boy’s name was…
[So uhh. Is it Harry Skywalker, or Luke Potter?]
{Let's go with the first one. Harry Skywalker has a better wring to it.}
Harry Skywalker and it was on his 11th birthday day he received a physical invitation to the Academy for the Force Sensitive.
[How did the letter arrive? Space owls?]
{Yes. Space owls. Who are force sensitive.}
[They can fly through the vacuum of space!?]
{Grrr.}
[Space owls.]
The Dursleys ignored the letter. They ignored the owl. Then they ignored the following letters and masses of owls. This continued until one day, Jedi Master McGonagall arrived.
[What about the giant guy? Should we use old man Kenobi? The droids?]
{Hagrid? Are there half-giants in Star Wars? Let’s keep this simple.}
[I don’t know. Probably. Simple sounds good.]
{Better sound good. That therapist wasn’t cheap.}
Jedi Master McGonagall took charge and promptly whisked young Harry to the academy.
When they landed on Yavin 4, Hogwarts revealed itself in its grand splendor. The intricate home temple of the Jedi Order gleamed under the caress of the rising sun and young Harry Skywalker was glued to the window as the shuttle landed. There were dozens of other shuttles following them as well.
Master McGonagall leads her young charge to the greeting area where she stopped in front of Ollivanders. Harry would receive his lightsaber.
[Uh, usually the student builds their own.]
{Students of Hogwarts receive their wands and whatnot first.}
[Fair enough. Still think they should build their lightsabers though, makes it more personal.]
Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site.
{Then we drop the lightsabers and they get force wands.}
Ollivanders was the finest saber craftsman in the galaxy. People would come in from every corner of the empire to obtain his masterwork pieces.
It was here that young Harry would be paired with his lightsaber.
“Holly durasteel and with a phoenix gemstone. 11 inches,” Ollivander intoned as he handed over Harry’s newest friend.
[Hehehe!]
{Honey~ If this is a penis joke, then I will shove that replica up your fat ass!}
[Hehehe.]
Upon receiving it, Harry felt the world shimmer and shake as the lightsaber synced with this perception of the force.
Master McGonagall nodded and then lead Harry to the main hall, where Harry joined a gaggle of other first-year students.
They entered the hall as a group and the children watched with wide-eyed fascination as they were lead to a stool with a hat on top.
The hat then sang a song and the first student was brought up.
The hat sat on the young girl’s head. “Hufflepuff!” the hat cried out and a whole table cheered as the young girl was ushered towards that group.
Harry would soon learn that Hufflepuff was the house that represented teamwork and family. They treasured bonds and relationships as well as a strong work ethic to see them through thick and thin.
A second girl, Mandy, went to Ravenclaw. A house that represented the intellectual side of the Jedi Order. They valued knowledge and many great scholars hailed from this group of quiet, but smart people.
Lavender was the first Gryffindor. The house of the brave. This house was where the strongest warriors hailed from. Known for their bravery and skills with a lightsaber, they had a strong history of powerful Jedi Knights.
Draco was not the first Slytherin, but he was the embodiment of their house. A place of cunning, guile, and influence. Many great Jedi mediators came from this house and their diplomatic skills were renowned across the universe.
‘Skywalker, Harry’ was called out.
The halls are hushed as they stared at the famous lineage of powerful Jedi Masters. Thought Harry was unaware of his heritage, he would not remain ignorant for long.
Desiring to be a strong, brave Jedi, Harry eventually sat under the hat and as the hat touched his head, “Gryffindor!” was called out.
Harry smiled as the cheers he received were the loudest yet and he scampered towards his new home.
[That sounds like a good place to end. Can't wait to show off the sith lords.]
{Wish we had more time, but this co-writing is exhausting. We sticking with James Skywalker as Valar, right?}
[Vader dear. Darth Vader. Darth Voldemort?]
{That sounds great! We definitely need a breakthrough. We can start again tomorrow. I am tired and I need a bath.}
[But fun?]
{Yeah, fun.}
[We should, you know, write more. You know how I like to plan stuff.]
{Yeah. We will definitely do more. We can chat and plan while you wash my back.}
[Well… A writer has to do, what I write has to do.]
