Mira felt tectonic plates shift beneath her feet, her fingers digging deep into Kintz's body. "Get him to the helicopter!" she yelled at Victor, already running toward the aircraft.
With such revelation, Lila scrambled to save the data they'd assembled-literally, her hands shaking with urgency. "We must get out of here before the whole facility collapses!
Just as Victor lunged for Kintz and pulled him toward the helicopter, there was a deafening roar and the sky lit up with flames: A part of the facility collapsed, sending debris in every direction.
"Go! Go!" Mira yelled, pushing Kintz toward the helicopter and then immediately following him. The pilot wasted no time, lifting the helicopter off the ground while it still shook beneath their feet.
Gaining altitude, Mira watched behind the building, a wall of fire now. "We did it," she whispered, and the weight of stress rolled off her shoulders. Yet way in the back of her mind, she knew this was far from over until they let the world know about the Collective's plans.

Lila, would you be able to upload all this so far to the emergency services?" Victor asked, staring at the disaster below them. “I’m on it,” Lila replied, her fingers flying over her device as she worked to disseminate the information.
As the helicopter flew farther from the wreckage, Mira felt a thread of unease crawl across her skin. "Kintz won't stop. He'll find another way to come at us."
Kintz, his arms and wrists still bound, stared back at her, a sneer diffusing his features. "You really think this is over? You've just forestalled the inevitable. The Collective has so many friends and I will be released. Just wait.".
"Not if I can help it," Mira returned firmly and strongly. "We shall see to it that you pay your dues to the law." It flew over the city, and they could see the tsunami and earthquake destruction. Yet, the devastation was too much, while she knew they couldn't lose hope. They had to be those that could galvanize the world against the Collective. Just as they reached the outskirts, there was a drone that flew over them with a camera fixed on the helicopter. "What on earth.?" Victor said as it circled above them. "We have been tracked!"
