Iris was standing on top of the well, wearing her favorite hat with cat ears, she held a triumphant smile as she thought about her plan. "I'm such a genius, I can use the hero's love for me and get him to work for me and monopolize the land! Mwahahah!"she cackled evilly, rubbing her hands together. She pulled out a vial out of her pants pocket and poured a liquid into the well, "First I pollute the water supply, then I wait for the hero to come." She finished polluting the well and sat down on top of it. Soon after Hero arrived, he had a dull look on his face as he covered his mouth from yawning.
"Iris, let's get this over with." he said, lazily lifting his sword and pointing it at her, he just woke up and felt kind of miserable, he was dreaming he was on a date with Iris.
"I want to finish this because I can only have you in my dreams."
Iris blushed in response but tried to act confident. She backflipped off of the well and landed in front of hero,
"I, Iris, shall allow you to date me."
Hero dropped his sword, and his jaw, as he stared in awe, he felt his dull expression light up at this remark.
"Yes, yes, you must be happy to have me as a girlfriend." Iris stated pridefully, though she didn't like the idea of dating Hero.
"This is wonderful, let's go on a date."
"Not so fast, if you want to date me you have to live with me." she shouted. ‘If he lives with me, I can manipulate him into joining the dark side.’
‘I didn't think this through.’ Iris thought to herself as she laid home on the couch in the palace's library, she thought her plan was going to be fool proof, simple as making the hero live with her and then convert him into her minions, problem is she didn't realize how much of an infatuation Hero has for her. She squirmed around on the couch as the hero held onto her, asleep, he was strong, Iris was also strong, but it seems like this protagonist is on something different. Hero turned over in his sleep, which in turn turned Iris around with him. She felt like she would end up rolling out of the couch at any minute in this angle, though she prefers that more than staying in this position. "Man, Hero, wake up." she said, trying to wake up the young man with copper skin. She frowned at the man that looks stupid when asleep, or well he looks more stupid than usual that is.
"Bailey" Iris shouted, soon her small butler scurried into the room,
"I say, young miss, but why did you act upon your shower thoughts, you truly aren't ready for a relationship." Bailey said expressing his worries for the young master,
"You think I don't know that now, now quickly get me out of here." Bailey tried to pull her free but to no avail, however because of the movement Hero started to open his eyes a little, Bailey ran out of the room due to fear of the young man, he remembered the time Hero beat him to a pulp. "I want to hold you." he mumbled, Iris rolled her eyes, annoyed at the young man's reoccurring statement but couldn't help but admit that his voice does sound nice after waking up, "Now that you're up let go of me." She complained trying to break free from his grasp, Hero noticed she was uncomfortable and let go, Iris ended up falling out of the couch because of this.

"I'm sorry, are you alright?"
"Does It Look Like I’m Fi- er, ahem I mean yes I’m a-okay." Iris replied upset, she can't believe her archnemeses are sitting on her couch as if they were friends for years. She was going to complain some more but her stomach started growling, she realized she hasn't eaten since this morning, which was ten hours ago.
"I'm hungry." hero said, taking the words right out of Iris's mouth,
"I'm going to make anything you want."
"As if I'm going to eat from you, the maids can do the cooking."
"But I always wanted to make food for my girlfriend."
"I don't care." It took some more pleading from Hero for Iris to agree. Hero left the room with a happy expression, he knows the place like the back of his hand because of the amount of time he had to break in to stop Iris's plans, in fact most of the maids are acquainted with him because he often engages in light conversations with them during the missions.
"Hi hero, I can't believe you actually won Iris over." one of the maids said giving him a thumbs up,
"I agree, good job, the young master truly needed a love life, I was afraid she was going to be alone forever trying to chase her silly dream of monopolizing over the whole world, or whatever that means."
Hero smiled,
"I'm glad you guys support our relationship."
"Of course, you're such a nice young man." He then waved goodbye before heading to the kitchen.
"Oh Hero, what brings you here?" the head chef asked,
"Just making some food for my girlfriend." he said proudly pointing to himself, the chef gave a hearty chuckle,
"There's nothing better than making food for the ones you love, I'm not going to stop you, the kitchen is all yours." The chef stepped to the side and handed Hero a cooking uniform, "Looking sharp." Hero said looking in the mirror after he changed, he then went to the kitchen.
"Wait a minute." he whispered,
"I never leveled up my cooking skill." He mumbled, he usually bought food, cooking never interested him much, but now that he has a girlfriend, her kind of regrets it.
"Okay let's try this."
He found two eggs in the fridge and some milk, he put the two on the frying pan and

He frowned at this thought while looking at the plate of garbage.
"Let's try again.'

Hero smiled at his creation, though he felt exhausted as though he used up all his energy on cooking alone. He walked back to the room where Iris is. Iris was asleep because she waited so long. She jumped up after she heard the door slam open, and saw Hero walk in with two plates in his hand.
"The foods done." he handed her the plate, then started eating his own,
"Is this seriously what took you so long?" Iris said, trying to complain, but she stopped when she noticed Hero asleep while holding his empty plait. He must have wasted all his energy while cooking. She thought to herself, she took the plate from him and rested it on the table. She took a bite of the egg.
"Huh, this tastes really good."
