Achilles woke up in a hospital bed. He was hooked up too many wires. The burns on his body pained him, however this pain wasn't as bad as the cracks that ran along his skin. He could have sworn he was on top of a fountain just mere moments ago. Achilles slowly got out of the bed and tried walking to the door to get a look of his surroundings. As he moved the wires that were hooked around his body restricted his movement which in turn gave him little room to explore.
"I've seen people do this in movies, but I don't think I want to try that." he said as he thought about ripping the wires out of him.
"Hey, check if the kid's awake." a tired voice commanded outside,
"Why don't you check."
"I repeat, check if the kid is awake." the voice said lower and quitter as to get his point across.
"YES SIR." the voice shouted back, soon the door to Achilles hospital room opened up and out came an Augustus.
"Oh, so you're actually awake." Augustus said in a whisper. Achilles stopped fiddling with the wires and diverted his attention to the strange red-haired man.
"Where, am I?" he asked,
"Why don't you ask a different question, that question you just ask has a very long script as a reply." he said sitting on the hospital bed.
"Well then how long was I asleep."
"That's an easy one to answer, about three days. At this point most of the men, that wasn't affected by the energy beam that is, is in training as we speak."
Achilles nodded his head at this information and sat next to Augustus,
"I can't believe we were attacked at the festival. I thought the NPOC was supposed to protect us."
"Well, we were protecting you guys!" Augustus shouted upset at what Achilles was insinuating.
"Huh! OH! You must be a worker for NPOC! I'm Sorry!" Achilles shouted; afraid he would get in trouble for disrespecting a protector of the nation.
"Good you better be kid. Now I'm off, see ya." Augustus said before getting up (while using Achilles head as a means to get up easier) to leave and report to Miles.

This left Achilles alone with his thoughts for a while. His headache has died down significantly, however it's still there, and he feels as though something's off about his body. Or well his soul to be exact. What Achilles isn't aware of is the amount of neon purple energy that is coursing through his veins, his body, his everything at the moment. "I think I need to sleep a bit more." Achilles mumbled to himself clutching his head a little. However, his small moment of peace was disrupted by the hospital door being kicked down.
"Now listen here kid, the boss wants to speak with you." Augustus shouted as a Miles that was tired of Augustus' crap walks into the room behind him. Miles placed a hand on Augustus' shoulder and dug his fingers into it.
"Maybe next time you can be quieter the patient just woke up." he whispered in a silky-smooth voice. Augustus nodded his head furiously as he tried his hardest not to let any tears fall from the pain,
"Yes sir, sorry sir!" he said, Miles then let go and sighed while shifting his weight onto his right leg before addressing Achilles.
"Sorry about that, he tends to get a little 'excited' over the smallest of things." Miles said before walking closer to Achilles and extending a hand to great.
"My name is Miles, leader of squadron four. I will be your commander from now on." Achilles took his hand to shake.
"So when will I be discharged?"
"We planned on discharging you as soon as you woke up."
"What? That's impossible, I need to heal properly. I'm human don't you know."
"Human, no no no. A human can't do what you did. You're something else." Miles said before putting his black gloves back on and fixing his suit so that it was neater than when he entered. Achilles stared at him confused, he wanted to get up to ask him more question's but his torse ached, it ached so much that he felt like he was going to throw up. Augustus stared at Achilles knowing full well the torment the young boy will be put through, though he dares not say anything to warn the young boy. Heads up gets you killed.
