B02C17 Big rig trucking.

{Alex}

It was near the end of winter, I had my RV done, two spare Dire Knights ready, Carnage finished and would get the sled done over the next few days. Everything would be ready by spring. As soon as the ice melted, I would be set to deliver my new nightmare. Boss was working on the paint patterns. He came up with the idea of mostly black with dark red streaks that almost looked like blood. All and all it gave it a horrific view. It made me smile and I swear Hena came again when she saw the training doll of it. She had been sleeping with some of my other women and I had to fight the idea of what could be going on in those beds. Uta had told me that we needed bigger beds and I agreed, letting her buy some. Lily had started getting sick in the morning but seemed to be happy all the time now. She refused to leave the house and would often refuse to leave the bed, hiding under a thick pile of blankets. Some of the other women in the town were acting oddly too. Gorloth had not been seen in weeks and I was heading to his house to check on him. There was smoke coming from the chimney, so I know he was alive. I knocked and held my breath. Was he avoiding me because he hated me? Was he upset that Hena had taken his spot as my bounce board? My heart wavered. Had I lost my friend? The door opened and a slightly sleepy looking Gorloth stepped out and closed the door slowly. Why was he sleepy, why was he stepping out here. He hated the cold. Would he hit me for waking him?

“Sorry, friend Runt. Wild Blade is sleeping.” He said in orc, a strange smile on his face. Orloth if I was translating the name properly.

“Who is Wild Blade?” I asked. He looked at me shocked and smiled lifting me into a hug.

“My daughter. The newest member of our tribe.” He nearly shouted. I smiled and beamed at him.

“When did this happen?” I said laughing.

“A few weeks ago. I thought someone told you.” He put me down and beamed down at me. “She is sleeping now.” I had forgotten that Orga was pregnant. I just smiled and slapped my friend’s shoulder.

“I’m happy for you.” My mind went back to Lily. What would it be like when Lily started to show? “When I get back from my trip, you will have to show her to me.”

“Trip?”

“My new Knight is ready. We have to send it away. I must go with to make sure it works right.” My orc was still a little rough. “Keep her and this town safe when I’m gone.” He slapped his own chest and stood proud.

“Yes, my War Chief.” He bowed to me and laughed. I left them and went back to my shop. Hena was playing with the face armor to the Warden.

“Come down. It is perfect.” I called up to her. She turned and waved to me. “I want to show you something.” She jumped down and bounced up to me.

“What is it?”

“I am calling it an RV. In my world it was a recreational vehicle that made traveling easier and safer.” I said as we walked to the testing field. There stood a huge box with hitches like a large horse drawn carriage. I pulled down the latter and we made our way up. The door opened to a cabin. The townsfolk had done a lot to make this space livable. It was two story carriage with a lovely shock system using springs and a few other goodies. It was slightly cold, so I turned on the small mana engine. There was small hum and thump as it heated up. She looked around in amazement. Then there were two large clanks and my walkie talkie sounded off.

“War Chief, we are ready for the test run.” It was Woodcutter. Hena looked at him worried.

“What is one of my rules?” I asked Hena.

“Test everything. This isn’t just some strange house, is it?” She asked in awe. There was a jolt and she stumbled falling against me. I held her to make sure she didn't fall. “We are moving?” Her eyes went wide.

“Come look.” I took her up the spiral staircase to a window facing forward. Two Dire Knights were pulling the RV. The road slid by around them.

“How are those heaters working?” I asked into the walkie talkie.

“Power levels are fine, and we are both as comfortable as if we were by a fire.” Woodcutter replied.

“Good we are going out for one hour and coming back. Keep an eye out for trouble. Is Meathead with us?”

“He is on patrol walking around.”

“Good, I want to test the battery swap while we are on the road.” I took Hena to a couch facing the back and we watched the snowy trail move past us. She sat nervously as she looked out.

“This is amazing. It is like we are in a moving fortress.” she said blushing at me. Why did she look nervous? “Can I put my head in your lap?” She was beet red as she stiffened up. I just nodded and pulled her down. I tried and failed not to get excited. I started brushing her hair with my fingers, she sighed and smiled. “Every day with you shows me a new wonder.” Her long ear flicked and I ran my finger along the top of it. She moaned and squirmed in my lap. So, her ears were sensitive. Good to know. “Saaavage.” She moaned. “Not my ears.” I moved my hand back to her hair and kept brushing. Both of us were blushing madly. Lobo came around behind the RV and I waved to him. The Dire Knight nodded and charged off.

“Meathead says that he is about a third down on mana. Want us to try the swap?” Woodcutter asked.

“Please do.” The RV stopped and there was a clunk.

“Why aren’t the others running down?” Hena asked.

“A large mana collector on the roof. It maintains the power of the Dire Knights and saves their engines. It also powers battery stores in the back that can be easily swapped out with the Dire Knights.” Her hands moved between her legs, and she squirmed as I explained everything.

“Stop or I may not be able to stop myself.” What was she talking about? A slight worry crossed my mind. Was I making her uncomfortable. She sat up quickly blushing.

“If you need a break, there are bedrooms. Four in total. The two lower ones have bunk beds. I even put in blinds if you need a nap.” She bit her lip and looked at me from the side of her eye.

“Don’t tempt me.” she whispered. Tempt her, how would I tempt her? I thought she liked women only.

“Are you okay?” I moved closer to look into her eyes. Her face looked red but seemed normal. She blushed and shook slightly. With a moan she quickly moved forward and kissed me hard. Her lips were soft and there was a slight taste of honey. My arms went around her back as she pushed me onto the couch. My tongue searched her mouth, and she moaned around it. Suddenly she pulled away and jumped up.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

“Sorry, I know I shouldn’t.” I stood an evil smile on my face. She had tasted and felt so good. “It’s just you tasted so good, and you were talking about all this stuff. I couldn’t hold back anymore.” She was hiding her eyes behind her hands and peeking at me through her fingers.

“I am not going to fight it.” She sat far away from me and took deep breaths as I smiled at her.

“I have to. If you and I, if we, I’d have to leave.” What was she talking about?

“Tell me everything if you would.”

“My mother wants me to have your child. If I do that, I have to go back home and I don’t want to leave you. I don’t want to leave the others. I don’t want to leave all this. I would miss everything.” She was starting to cry. What?

“That doesn’t make sense.”

“Mother wants me to use you, so my people have a claim on you. If a man has a child with a noble, they are forced to move in with the noble to help raise the child.”

“Are there exceptions?” I asked my mind moving like lightning.

“If the other party has children the new woman or man may stay with the target. If the noble becomes a slave to the target or if the noble revokes their name. These are the only three options.”

“I take it you don’t want to lose your name, title, or freedom.” My mind was rolling through other options. She shook her head. “Option four then. You work for me.” She looked up at me through tear-filled eyes. “If you are working for me, it would hurt your honor and standing to leave me in the middle of a job. Am I right?” She stopped; her jaw hung open. “That being said. You must get permission from the others before you join me or any of them. My one rule is that everyone is willing.” She just sat there looking at me closely tears still flowing. Did I say something wrong? She jumped up and tackled me, was she going to beat me here and now? Much to my surprise and delight, she started kissing me hard.

“Bless you.” She said holding me close. I smiled and held her tightly. She smelled so nice; I couldn’t help but let out a low growl. She spent the rest of the trip listening to me explain everything. The heat runes on the weapons, on the walls of the RV and in the cockpit of Dire Knights and Warden. She just held me, letting me pet her hair and moaned every time my hand brushed those long, cute knife-like ears. “Why are you like this?” She asked when we reached a lull in the conversation.

“I was born wrong.” She turned at my words to look into my mind.

“Back when I was little, doctors of the mind looked closely at me and told me that I was a sociopath. My brain doesn’t work right, and emotions are either muted or hard for me to understand.”

“We have something similar, but rare in elves, but those ones seldom have emotions at all. Those elves are often watched closely as their moral compass can be easily thrown off. That doesn’t seem to be the way you are though. You have feelings, honor and are a good person. I don’t think you were told correctly. Your mind isn’t normal, but it is working. It’s more like the wheels on your cart are placed differently and you seem to have more in some ways. Look at all you’ve done, you like to think of yourself as a monster, but you aren’t.” My mind was reeling by her words. I wasn’t the broken monster I thought I was. My face was blank, and I just sat there for a long moment. To distract myself, I looked inside her and didn’t see a core. Though her blood was moving fast and gathering lower. Somehow, I knew she was turned on. She pulled my chin to her to look deep into my eyes. “Savage. You are perfect to me.” She kissed me and I just sat there, my mind reeling. What if she was right and everything, I held inside was wrong? What if everyone was wrong? Every time I felt my darkness was in defense of my friends, family and the things I love. I could become attached to people even humans. I couldn’t love humans, but beasts, elves and more could be open to me. Was it all by chance that I was brought here? Am I just a tool used by the gods over this world to do something.

“You’ve given me a lot to think about.” My face was blank, and I was happy she couldn’t read my mind. She just nodded and held me as we road down the path.

“Heading back War Chief.” Woodcutter said interrupting my internal reflections. Hena had shaken my soul and I needed time to work through it. We tested the arm with Woodcutter who swapped out with the spare battery. It all worked just as I had planned. I had tested the arm in the shop and knew it would work. Then my mind went blank, and I clawed for my notebook. This could be used as a weapons platform. Before I started sketching or writing it down, I wondered if I wanted this in this world. This would be no different than a tank. The Knights had honor and beauty to their design. Tanks were mostly ugly and crude. No, this would be like the bomb Battery had made. Something I didn’t want in this beautiful place. On the other hand, my mind drifted to Zoids, and I smiled. The Dire Knights really weren’t the right creature to pull this RV. I started sketching a smile on my face. Hena just watched my hand and gasped.

“You are going to build that, right?” I turned to her and kissed her quickly making her blush. On the page sat an ox Knight with nine wands mounted on its back. No tanks, but this was my version of a Dibison. It would be my next nightmare. What would it look like pulling the RV with three wolves around it.

“What type of cores would best work in it?” I asked Hena.

“Wouldn’t any core work?” She asked sweetly.

“No, the core matters. That is why all Knights have humanoid cores. The core helps the Knight move.” She just sat there blinking at me before crying out and passing out on top of me.

“You have to warn me to pack extra underwear before you do that.” She gasped. Yep, she just got off again. “How do you know the secret that only the royal family knows?” She said looking up at me gasping.

“I figured it out.” I said with a proud smile.

“We were told only to use humanoid cores for the engines, but never why.”

“All the Dire Knights have Dire wolf cores, and the Warden has wargon cores.” she looked up at me gasping and clawing at my shirt.

“If you keep that up, I may not make it back without dragging you into one of the beds.” She said blushing looking up at me with lust filled eyes.

“You really get turned on by this stuff?” I asked.

“You have no idea. Please don’t think less of me,” she said, failing to meet my eyes. I kissed her forehead and laughed slightly.

“I love this stuff too and can see why you think that way. They can be sexy as hell when made right.” She smiled at me, and I kissed her again. God, she felt and tasted so good. I had to fight the urge to go down on her. I didn’t want to fight it and closed the shutters, starting to make my way down on her kissing each inch, undoing each item of clothing. She gave weak protests but didn’t move away and never pushed me off. Her eyes demanding, I continue. We made our way back into town and she was blushing and happy. I was happy I made a bathroom in the RV that made cleaning up easier. “The Elven royalty would pay through the nose for that thing.” Hena said.

“Me or the RV?” I asked with a chuckle.

“Both.” she replied with a smile, blush and a laugh. She bit her finger and I wish I had used more than just my tongue and fingers on her.

Spring was finally here, and Lily was starting to show. I left her a walkie talkie so I could test the range and keep in touch with her as we left. The sled was loaded, two wolves were pulling with a third on patrol. Radish had made sure that our client was ready and waiting. It would take us a month to make it to the capital and then to the main plaice to show the snake man Carnage. Hena and Uta had packed everything they needed and loaded into the RV. I had extra metal just to pass the time. Hena and I had not had sex yet, but she was happy to play with me and the others. She was still holding back. I didn’t blame her or pressure her. Things should be done in their own time. Uta forced Lily and the others to stay home. Mai was asleep and may not wake up for a few more weeks. Batsy was acting odd and hiding from everyone and Meathead didn’t want to leave. I asked him if he wanted to stay, but he argued to stay with me and only asked to talk with Batsy every night. Past that we only needed about five hunters, and those were handpicked by Boss. We were leaving behind a small army. I knew I was leaving this town protected and safe. I just hoped that I would be able to return safely. This could be a trap and I knew it. Redwood was coming with us. His two women had each had a boy and a girl. He hated leaving them but knew they would be safe. None of them had collars. Only around twelve people in town had them and it was by their choice. Radish was leaving behind a very sad Tulip and Marigold with full bellies. I hoped I could swing it so he could return with us.

“Master Savage, this should be a pleasant trip.” He said looking around the RV.

“You have no idea. You’ll be in the upper levels. The commanders and hunters will be in the lower levels. We should have enough for the trip. During the day hunters should be waiting on the sled or sleeping below. We will be up here relaxing.” He bowed to me and smiled. He was now wearing a loose open tunic with what looked like linen pants. He looked much more relaxed aside from the collar around his neck. I couldn’t remove that as he was needed for our contact. Maybe when this was all done, I could try to argue to keep him in my service. I had come to lean on him and may miss having the small man around. He had become my friend.
