{Hena Gotyho Tovoear}
She was sitting at the inn with Lily and Batsy. All three women were drinking tea and talking. “I am so happy you both became my friends.” Hena said.
“We are happy to have you as a friend.” Lily said with a smile.
“Agreed,” Batsy added, taking a sip of her tea and smiling. “Oh, Hunter’s blend.” A pleasant hum made the other two smile. Batsy did loved her tea. “Lily, do we have any word from our friend about the thing?”
“No, she says she doesn’t have the skill,” Lily said with a frown on her face. They both had hopes for the fertility potion, but no one in this town had the skill to make it. It had dashed their dreams.
“Am I allowed to know what is going on?” Hena asked a coy smile on her face. Batsy leaned in close to make sure she wasn’t overheard.
“We found a recipe for a potion that will let us have kids with humans.” Hena gasped as her eyes went wide.
“That shouldn’t be a thing. Why are you two not...” She trailed off patting her stomach. Batsy put her chin on the table and frowned, her eyes watering lightly.
“No one has the skill as I said.”
“I need to fix this.” Hena said standing. She charged out of the inn with the two women following her. Bursting through the door of the house she had rented, she quickly pulled out the plate and mana water.
“What are you doing?” Lily asked.
“Talking with my mother. I will not let this stand. You are my friends and I want to see you happy.” She quickly made the incantation to connect the pool of mana water. It spun and she looked out into an empty room. A guard came up and looked into the pool.
“Lady Tovoear. How can I help you?” He asked.
“I need my mother to send an alchemist to this town.” She had expected an argument or for him to ask why. Instead of that, he jumped and ran off at full speed.
“Yes, my lady. I will make it happen,” he said, running out of the room. That seems odd. Something was going on. Maybe her mother could see the value in Alex and saw that the elves needed to help him. The pool just sat there blank. The room was empty, and she wasn’t sure if she should keep the line to her home open. Lily coughed and Hena turned blushing. She had forgotten that the others were in her house and now she looked around to realize that her home was dirty.
“Please forgive me. I haven’t invested in cleaning lately, and I didn’t know I’d be entertaining.” This made Lily smile.
“If we are waiting, why don’t we help you.” Lily said brightly.
“Yeah, you are helping us, it’s only fair.” Batsy added as she picked up a pair of socks.
“Why is it you crazy Knight heads always let your homes get this dirty?”
“Are you telling me Alex is like this too?” Hena asked.
“He is a man after all.” Batsy said and all three women started laughing. Hena’s friend had tried to help her, but she had not wanted to hear her out. The three talked and laughed as they cleaned up.
“You know you could hire Marigold or Tulip to help you. They could come over once a week.” Lily said with a bright expression. Hena loved how motherly her bunny friend was.
“The bunnies at the inn, the ones who are, ummm, dating Radish.” She said dating in a slightly raised voice.
“Yeah, he loves them. Even became a butler just so he could buy them some nice things. It is so cute.” Batsy said jumping up and down on the balls of her feet. “I wasn’t exposed to a lot of loving people, so I like seeing others in love.” Hena and Lily walked over to Batsy and gave her a big hug. Lily started petting her hair and all three jumped as someone called out.
“Are you still there?” The guard had returned.
“I am.” Hena called back to him.
“Thank you for waiting, my lady. One is being dispatched today. They should be there in a week. Is this acceptable?” Why was he so worried?
“More than. Tell them that speed is not as important as safety. Who is being dispatched?”’
“The Matriarch has commanded that Hocodoy De Tovoear join you.” Hena’s eyes went wide.
“Why is my mother sending auntie Hoc here?”
“My Matriarch has determined that your quest is of some importance.” He said bowing at her. “Does this meet with your approval?” He started sweating and looked worried.
“More than. Please tell my auntie to have a safe trip. Is she okay with being here for a while?”
“She is packing up for a prolonged stay now.”
“Very good, thank you.” She waved her hand and the pool dimmed. Once it was packed back up, she turned to her friends. Lily was breathing heavily and Batsy was blushing madly. Both jumped into her arms and started thanking her.
{Alex}
It was early morning; the skies were clear and no wind. Hena was by my side, a long white coat covering her in the fall chill, a slight flush on her cheeks. It made me want to kiss her just to see her blush. We had been working together and there was some sexual tension, but I would not force the issue. She made it clear she was into women. The elf had spent all yesterday realxing with my bunny and Batsy. It was nice seeing everyone getting along. I shook my head and sighed watching my breath come out in a strong mist. Today was about testing my Warden. Woodcutter was sitting in the cockpit. It was just a frame, controls and systems. No point in making the armor or equipment until everything is fully tested. “Woodcutter, whenever you are ready.” I called out through a small box. I found out Twin rabbits exist. When they dropped a core, it was always in pairs. The pairs were only useful in paired item enchantments. Twin daggers, boots, socks and so on. This was because what affects one, is mirrored in the other. Using this, I could make my walkie talkie and kill switch. It was a key I sorely needed.
“Can do my War Chief.” He said with a slight chuckle. That title I was okay with. He started the Knight, and I got chills as the heart started beating. It was music to my ears. The three cores started their heartbeat song. It was just so wonderful. Hena turned to me stunned.
“Why does it sound like that?” Her voice was worried and slightly scared.
“The cores are dancing and singing to us. Three hearts beating as one.” I replied awe tinting my voice. “Woodcutter, start with walking on all fours.” The Knight shifted from a laying position to kneeling and then stood on all fours. “How are the read outs?”
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
“All green War Chief.” He said joy filling his voice.
“Good, feel free to move around.” He started walking around the field the shoulders looked slightly loose and I would have to tighten them. I made a note and looked back up to see it slowly turn. “And shift to standing.” He stopped and stood slowly to slightly over thirty feet tall. The neck slid into place and the head sit on top of the spine. It worked just like I had hoped. “Move around a little.” He started walking and nearly fell over. The hips were wrong. I would need to add a shifting hip bar.
“It feels a little rough.” He sounded worried.
“That is why we test. Readouts?” I called through the walkie talkie.
“All good. It feels weird talking like you are right next to me.”
“I rather like it. Now feel free to test the arms and fingers.” He raised his hands and did a few slashes in the air. The claws moved nicely, and the arms seemed to be acceptable.
“The arms are nice. I will have to train with this on the table to make it more fluid.”
“How does the tail feel?” Hena asked.
“I expected it to feel like dancing on a needle, but actually it feels stable. The hips are the only point I’m uneasy about.”
“That is understandable.” I replied to him. “Move as you like and test things. If the cores become unstable vent the mana immediately."
“Yes, War Chief.” He cried out as he started moving through several punches and even a kick, but the hips wobbled, and he put the foot down quickly. Then he shifted back to all fours and started running. It moved smoothly around the field. I made notes as we went and looked over to see a slight tear in Hena’s eye a huge goofy grin on her face. “Starting to run low on mana.” Woodcutter said after an hour of running.
“Good, bring it back in.” I said and turned to Hena. “Your thoughts Lady Tovoear?” She turned to me and just started panting. Was she going to be, okay?
“Savage you are amazing,” she said in a breathless whimper before jumping into my arms. She was warm and smelled surprisingly like roses and something feral. Do all elves smell like that? She pulled away and looked into my eyes blushing before quickly pulling away and looking at the ground. “Forgive me Savage. I was caught up in the moment.”
“I’m not going to complain.” I said smiling and looking away. Woodcutter took the Warden to the shop and the two of us started working on the issues. She kept blushing and failed to meet my eyes. It was odd and I would have to ask Lily or the others about it.
“Savage, how did you come up with this idea?” She asked pointing at the tri-core engine.
“I was using a mana bracelet to make up for the lack of mana in my own body. I was able to fit sixteen goblin cores on it and they became my personal battery.”
“What happened to them and what core are you using now?”
“My own core. In a freak ceremony the core I had fused all the other goblins into got fused into my body becoming my own core.” She looked at me in shock and mild horror.
“Can I see it?” I undid the metal and showed her the metallic core in my right arm.
“Weird. Humans can have cores. Interesting, most cores are located in the chest.” She was holding my hand up to her face looking at it closely.
“The other human core I have was in his chest.” She looked up at me with large beautiful purple eyes. Why had I not seen her eyes like that before. They had a slight Native American tilt and I had to fight the urge to kiss her. Instead, I held her hand and twisted it, so I was holding it from below before bringing it up to my lips to lay the softest of kisses on the back. She blushed and pulled away with a cute squeak.
“I am sorry, I should not have done that.” Way to go, Alex, hit on the lesbian. What could go wrong? I am such a fuck up. I put the bracelet back on and went back to fixing the hips.
“So, umm you, “She coughed. “You used the cores working together to come up with the idea of making this new type of engine. How do you know how to make elven engines?”
“I have a skill that lets me feel the metal fully. I used that to probe the deepest part of every system, every node. I know every part of every Knight I touch.” She turned back to look at me a strong blush still on her face. Why did I still want to kiss her? I get laid nearly every night and yet I still wanted this elf. I am so fucked in the head.
“How did you come up with the idea of the Shot Spears?” She had gone back to working with the mana wire cable near the hip while I shaped the metal.
“I watched a lot of anime when I was little. It is like a play and gave me a lot of ideas that work here.”
“I have never heard of it. What kingdom are you from?”
“Earth. I was pulled here against my will.” I said with a slight chuckle. She looked back at me frowning.
“Do you miss it?” Why did she look sad?
“I used to, but I have people here I love and wouldn’t go back for anything. I have Lily, Uta, Yen, Mai, Gen and all the others. I have magic, Knights and so much more. This world has become my playground, and I will do whatever it takes to stay here and keep everyone safe.” My face had fallen and become dark. She bit her lip and looked away. Did I scare her? I stuck with people. Why was I worried about screwing things up with her? I don’t stand a chance. She likes women. Wake up Alex. She moved down the leg and turned that wonderful ass to me. God, it looked so good. If I was a lesser man, I’d be tempted to slap it. Maybe I needed a break to run home and spend time with one of the girls.
“What are you going to call this Knight?” She asked sweetly looking over her shoulder to catch me watching at her ass. I turned away, but thought I saw a playful smile on her face. Must be wishful thinking on my part.
“I called my first Dire Knight Lobo. It was a hunter from my world. This one I am thinking will be a nightmare that will rip apart everything in his path, so Carnage seems fitting.” She stopped and spun around looking into my eye panting hard.
“That sounds hot as ALL the hells. If only you were born a woman, I’d take you here and now.”
“You think that is hot, wait until you see this thing holding a Shot Spear and Ice Saber Shot.” Her eyes rolled back, and she bit her lower lip hard. I had to shake to keep my composure. I swear she just came.
“I need a break. Be right back.” She stood quickly and ran out of the shop. I must have embarrassed her. With a sigh, I went to my office to take a breath. The moment I sat at the desk and leaned back, an ebony hand reached up from the dark space under my desk and tapped my leg. I was still rock hard and had to fight my hope that Midna would like to have some fun. She just slowly made her way up my body to sit on the desk, crossing her legs.
“Hello Alex. Sorry it took me so long. She was a hard prey to find.” She was wearing a thick dress with wool leggings and thick boots. “I am happy I bundled up. It is colder up here.”
“I am happy to see you are safe.”
“That I am, and you smell like you want to have some fun.” She said with a coy smile.
“That I do but work first. What did you find out?”
“Clover is safe, happy and well. She has all of her limbs back but is still missing the eye. She is living with an old friend of mine, and they are madly in love with each other. I did have to wipe her mind to make sure she could keep living a happy life.”
“Wipe her mind?”
“Using contract magic to take someone’s memories. She is starting with a clean slate.”
“Do you think she would want to move here?” I asked.
“My old friend needs time to work through his own shadows before he can be around people. He had a rough life. It isn’t like a switch one can just flip off.” She crossed her arms a shadow coming over her face.
“Good, at least she is safe and happy. Remind me on Gen’s fifteenth birthday. If he is ready, it may be better for him to try to bring them in.”
“Why fifteen?” She asked an eyebrow raised.
“I need time to build his Knight and he needs time to grow in every way. Fifteen seems like a good starting place.”
“I shall remember to remind you. Now about my reward.”
“I can talk to Lily tonight.”
“Why not now?” She grabbed my arm and pulled me to the darkness under my desk. The next thing I knew, we were walking out of the closet in my house. This shadow skill she had was amazing. “Lily is in the bath,” she said, a coy smile on her face.
“Am I to assume you’d like me to ask her to stay in there for a while?” I responded with my own evil smile. She nodded and bit her lip. Lily was indeed in the bath and looked over at me blushing.
“Master, you are home early. Did you want to join me?” She hid behind her ears and kept blushing.
“I have to ask a favor.” I took a deep breath. “I asked Midna to look into something for me and in trade she would like to have you for a night.” Lily let her ears go and her mouth fell open in the most delightful way.
“Are you going to stay and watch?” And like that I was rock hard again. FUCK YES!
“Would you like that?” I asked with a smile on my face. She nodded and pulled her ears down. I opened the door and Midna swayed her way in, long tail swishing behind her. “She has asked me to stay and watch. Is this change in our deal acceptable?” Midna turned to me and licked her lips.
“That is acceptable.” I watched her slowly undress and get into the water. “Feel free to join us in the tub, Alex.” FUCK YES! I undressed and slid in as Midna made her way to Lily, tilting her chin up to kiss her softly. Hot as hell. Midna’s hands moved down to Lily’s breasts and my bunny moaned softly.
