I've got a bone to pick with you.

Hey there! Names Arthur, life is pretty dang good for me, I'm rich, I'm part of the magic elite, and my father is grand general of the imperial army.

What more could a guy ask for?

A lot actually, you see I'm not really big on friends, but being alone is so BORING. I just can't handle it. So I deal with the common folk. Put up with their jokes, buy them nice things, and try to relate to their rather annoying problems. It's a lot of work being me.

But sometimes I do actually find something I want though. I cherish these things greatly while they last. Once when I was a child I found this dog on a farm house. It was so pretty I just had to have it. So I tried to buy it from the farm house like a civil person would.

That didn't work so I just took it and left a rather big payment. Over twice of what I was offering. And I'm not going to surgar coat it. I'm bloody rich. I left those fools enough money for them to live like a wealthy merchant for two years.

I know I can be overbearing afterall. I'm not perfect, I'm human too just like you guys. And the few things that interest me I care for greatly. I still have that dog you know, it's actually sleeping in the corner of my room. I spend a bunch of money reversing it's age.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

A few other of things that interest me are this maid from a small noble family, she playes the best lute and sings quite well. I have this nice flower garden. I got a bunch of books with high level magic in them. I'm not technically supposed to have them, but the benefits of being son of the grand general. I got my own mansion on a island. One flying in the sky too, but most of the time it's landed on the ground. Thing is expensive after all.

Anyway, most recently I found this girl. And let me tell you she is the BEST, skilled in magic, incredibly beautiful, this super nice handwriting, a cute little dimple on her cheek when she smiles. Ah! just the best.

It is... regrettable that she liked Jack more then me. I mean she liked both of us, but I really like her so I did what I had too. I liked Jack, he wasn't as annoying as all the other people who call themselves my "friends". But thems the breaks kid. Life's hard. Making the choice between the two of them took several hours and at least ten pages of paper weighing their pros and cons.

What won me over was the dimple by the way.

Speaking of which I'm pretty sure Jack wanted to show me something. Said something about "victory over death" I mean, I did stab him in the middle of it. I wonder what it was he wanted to show me. I don't know honestly, mostly it just felt super ironic.

"Lyna! Come play for me please!" I called out using magic to ensure she got the message. Devoloped that myself.

"Yes master" Lyna replied as she opened my door and began to play the lute for me, one of my favorites too. "Rise of the hero"

Yeah, life is pretty dang good right now.
