My name is Seth Sanchez. A private investigator specifically hired by Mrs. Wilcox-Tuckerman, the cousin of that inhuman bastard known as Samuel Tuckerman. Although it's almost half a year since that bastard's execution, the lasting effects of people knowing his deeds and its influence can still be felt to this very day. History has had its fair share of serial killers, but this guy really took it to the next level. Anyway, my client had been asking almost everyone she could get to discover or find out something that his trial and all his evidence failed to explain. I was the only one who accepted. I was reluctant at first but curiosity (and maybe a bit of pity) made me decide to take it. Her family and almost any person related to Samuel Tuckerman, be it an actual family member or in-law, were really suffering harassment and threats from everywhere. When people can no longer take revenge on the guy himself, they settle for the next best thing.
What she wanted me to discover was how Samuel Tuckerman got away with all these heinous crimes for almost 80 years. Apparently, he started killing when he was still a teenager, and yet he managed to keep low and hide his crimes until the day he decided to gloat the fact that he got away by surrendering everything to the local police. It got me thinking and speculating that maybe he wasn't alone. Copies of his evidence, which some sick bastard decided to upload on the internet, was carefully combed through and documented by any person online who wanted to. There was not a single mention or indication of a supposed accomplice. NOT. A. SINGLE. DAMN. THING.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
However, I got something that others may not have. A list of his past patients. When his crimes broke headlines, angry mobs decided to torch down his house and last known office. Nothing was recovered from the fire, much to the dismay of the investigators. Other than a box of his old paperwork and records that were given to my client for safekeeping, but supposedly later forgotten by Samuel. My client kept quiet at first, but the endless harassment and threats broke her down and made her desperate to clear her family's name. Unfortunately, I was the only one willing to actually help her out. Her case was too hot and too prickly but I got no living family or friends, so I wouldn't get scorched or pricked too much if ever I decided to take the case.
Right now, I'm going to visit the residence of the first patient on this list. Hopefully, I'm lucky enough and get something worthwhile from him. Otherwise, this is going to be a long investigation.
