I woke up to the morning sun shining through the window against my bed.
I open my eyes to see the ceiling above me, feeling the comfortable blanket I'm clutching tightly.
Under me lies the soft mattress, which is hard to get out of because of how comfortable it is.
The scent coming from outside the room is delightful, new cooked eggs and bacon, fresh baked bread and brewing tea.
I sit up on the edge of the bed, looking around the room, with the bright light shining it up.
With the sun shining on me I stretch my arms up in the air while yawning.
I am actually still here, I am still in this world…
Leaving a long breath of relief, falling backwards, sinking into the softness of the mattress when I realize "I am still here, in this world…"
After a few moments of savoring the comfort, I gather the will to get up. The thought of a warm breakfast lures me out of bed.
"Good morning miss Yumiko" Greeting Yumiko, who looks newly woken up.
Rubbing her eye, leaving out a long drawn yawn "good morning"
Yumiko and I sat down to eat in a cozy dining room, where the meal was every bit as delicious as it smelled. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon crisp, and the bread warm and soft. We didn't talk much, both of us too busy enjoying the food, but the silence felt comfortable.
With full stomachs we leave the dining room, following Miss Yumiko to the back of the mansion.
The morning sun shines brightly on top of the backyard as I introduce myself "nice to meet you. My name is Kaito Nakamura" I swallow deep, slowly looking up at the tall lady.
This woman is a monster, bigger muscles than most men, much taller than a woman should be and let's not even talk about her revealing outfit.
She carries one long sword on her left waist. It kind of looks like a katana. Damn that's badass!
"I'm Rina Hayashi, nice to meet you" She looks at me speaking with kind words and a gentle yet rough voice.
The sparring began shortly after, both armed with wooden swords to sharpen their skills.
"Faster on your feet, Yumiko!" Rina barks, lunging forward with precise speed.
Yumiko notices the sudden shift in Rina's movement and quickly calculates her options. With three rapid steps back, she narrowly avoids the wooden sword that whizzes through the air where she had stood just moments before.
"Ghuuuuu!" Yumiko grunts, steadying her breath before charging back into the fray.
"Good job!" Rina praises, swiftly adjusting her stance to block Yumiko's next strike.
Yumiko leaps into the air, aiming a strike from above, but Rina effortlessly blocks it, countering with a sideways slash while Yumiko is still airborne.
Reacting fast, Yumiko deflects the blow by angling her sword downward. She's thrown back, sliding along the ground before regaining her balance.
Their sparring escalates, the wooden swords clashing with rapid intensity. They leap and dodge, attacking from all angles, each blow either a chance to recover or an opening to close in.
I sat on a bench at the side looking over the two but to be honest it was hard keeping up, seeing the two swiftly flow around on the battleground, leaping in the air and wooden swords clashing, it was intense.
It was easy to see that Rina was in a different league then Yumiko is, the two has the same kinda fighting style at least what it looks like.

It would be amazing if I could learn this, it would be so cool, I think I would need to grow some muscles for that though at least what it looks like. Rina buffed out and Yumiko that I clearly can see has muscles more than me at least.
"Okay, we are done Yumiko" Both standing looking at each other, out of breath, Yumiko lays herself flat on the ground trying to catch her breath.
"Hey! Kaito, can you bring us our water bottles" Rina shouts over from the sparring ground.
"Yes of course!" I picked up the leather bottles and jogging over to them.
I reach out my hand towards Rina with the first one.
She accepts it with a nod "Thank you"
"You're welcome," I replied with a smile.
"Here, Yumiko" I reach out my hand towards Yumiko, who lays on the ground, arms spread and sweaty.
"Mhhhh!" she snatches the bottle without saying thank you, she sits up and gulps down the water in her mouth.
"Ohh well no problems my lady" I say with sarcasm without thinking but luckily she didn't hear me.
"You two were amazing, You especially Yumiko, I would never be able to keep up with Rina" I turn back to Yumiko who is drooling water.
"Thanks. Mmm!" she replied with a bit of attitude, turning away as water dripped from her mouth.
I glance over at Rina, half smiling at Yumiko's reaction. She doesn't comment but raises an eyebrow, clearly amused.
After they finish up, I decided to explore the mansion a bit. Wandering through the grand hallways, I eventually find myself standing in front of a library. Curious, I step inside.
The room is filled with towering bookshelves, packed with volumes of history, languages, and even books on magic. The atmosphere is quiet, and the scent of old pages fills the air, a perfect place to gather my thoughts.
I gathered 2 books that interested me, then I sat down on a table next to the window.
Book: Magic and Mana Guide
Book: (Language Guide) Human Tongue
I started with the Human Tongue book but felt a bit uncertain. How can I even read this? I arrived here already knowing the language, so maybe I can understand it? Still, not knowing the language structure makes it difficult to write. To be safe, I'll definitely go through this book to learn the language smoothly.
I wonder if there are more than one language, but it's better to focus on one for now.
The magic and mana guide book seems interesting. I will try to read that as well whenever I have time. It would be amazing to learn magic.
But then I would like to learn sword fighting as well. I wonder if Miss Rina could teach me some day.
While reading, I discovered that the alphabet structure isn't too complicated, though the symbols can be a bit challenging. There aren't many minor details to remember beyond the grammar, which is different from Japanese but still relatively straightforward. With some practice, understanding it becomes easier.
I learned a few key points: the subject of a sentence is marked with "o," and the size of the symbols affects the tone. For example, instead of writing "I am here!" it would be written as "I AM HERE," with larger symbols indicating a stronger emphasis.
It didn't take long for me to grasp the basics of the language. Although there's still much to learn, I decided to take a break and explore the Magic and mana guide to keep my studies interesting.
As I flipped through the book, I encountered various topics such as incantations, spells, and different types of magic. The guide categorized magic into four main types: attack, healing, support, and defense.
There are six elemental categories: water, fire, earth, lightning, wind, and shadow. Water, fire, and earth are primarily used for attack magic. Lightning and wind are mainly used for support but can also be employed in offensive spells. Shadow magic, while generally used for support, can be useful in battle, especially when combined with other elements, though it's less effective on its own.
And while you could grasp around what most of the elements do, shadow is a little different from what you would think. Shadow drains the opponents mana, the stronger the spell the more it drains, it can also work as smoke screens, and if you combine shadow with fire for example, then your fire will be able to drain the enemies mana while doing a lot of damage.
When combining elements, you can also advance their properties. For instance, by mastering the control of water, you can manipulate it to become ice by adjusting the temperature within your spell.
Only water and earth can transform into new elements. Water can be turned into ice, while earth can be converted into various materials such as iron or steel. However, creating these new elements requires an immense amount of practice and skill.
In contrast, the other elements don't change into new substances but can be strengthened to unlock a wide range of new spells and abilities.
There are also classes that rank your magical strength, ranging from: Novice, advanced beginner, advanced, expert, master, and god.
Spells also have these rankings. For instance, a Novice water mage cannot cast spells ranked higher than Advanced Beginner. This rule applies to all spell classes and ranks.
You can expand your mana pool by using mana regularly.
I wonder if I even have any mana, given that I got sent here in my regular body and not born into this world, I could try to check that out on the training ground tomorrow.
But it is interesting to read about, I think I want to learn much more about this world, hopefully get on some adventure, slaying monsters and dragons, if they even exist.
I wonder if there are any books about dragons here, well I'll have to search for one.
Rising from my chair, I begin to search for more books to satisfy my growing curiosity.
