Chapter 20
Even though Mike was ecstatic about the huge amount of points he had, especially since he could buy something he had been looking forward to for a while, he knew he should still get the hell away from the area of the battle between him and the Noah. No matter OP he thought the current him was, he knew better than to engage in a fight with an entire squad of Noah’s.
After traveling for around 5 minutes, it took this long since he had to use ninja tricks to try and make his path untraceable, he finally got to the area where Klaud and the 2 other exorcists were carrying an unconscious Alex. Of course, he’d already switched back to being Vincent, otherwise all his effort of being so secretive would have been for naught. When Klaud saw him, she immediately ran towards him despite her injuries and checked him over.
Klaud: Vincent! Are you alright!? When Lau led us to Alex and we saw her state, we thought something happened to you! What happened!?
Vincent: I’m fine. Are you?
Klaud: Yes, I am. But you, you disobeyed me. Didn’t you know how dangerous the situation was!?
Vincent: Yeah, but I was worried about you.
Klaud: *exhales* Whatever. It is true that we would have probably died if not for you. You truly are an abnormal brat... Thank you, Vincent. By the way, what happened with the Noah?
Vincent: They ran away in a hurry halfway through our fight. They looked like they were worried about something.
Klaud: Well, as long as you’re safe. C’mon, let’s leave. We don’t know when they’ll be back.
----------------------------------------
Back at Black Order HQ…
Klaud: ...And that’s what happened.
Jack: I see. I’ll have to report this to the higher ups. The fact that the Noah family is back and working with the Earl is bad news. Anyways, good job surviving. Also, good job protecting Alex, Vincent. I heard from her, and know that you risked your life for her.
Vincent: I thought I already told you just how far I’d go.
Jack: You did. It just helps reinforce it if you actually act.
Klaud: *cough* Well, now that we’re done here, we might as well go back and rest. Let’s go, Vincent.
Vincent: Bye Jack.
After being pulled away by a seemingly annoyed Klaud, the pair(along with Lau) made their way back to their mansion. They were very tired after the long journey, so they went straight to bed. Of course, Klaud had other things in mind. Once she was dressed in her negligee, which Vincent had tricked her into wearing a long time ago, she lied down next to Vincent and waited for him to drift off to sleep. She then started to whisper into his ear.
Klaud: Are you hungry?(This is just payback for talking about Alex so much...)
Vincent: Milk.
Klaud: *shudder*
(A: Sorry, no sex unless something special. Don’t worry, it’ll happen later on( ?° ?? ?°) )
Once Vincent made Klaud faint with a smile on her face, he then transferred his conscience back to the other dimension where he met up with ES. He’d already explained to her what happened after she had panicked over the fact that his wounded “Vincent” body had appeared, so he didn’t have to waste time. Instead, before he spent the night together with ES, he first decided to do something that she had been begging him to do for a long time.
ES: *squeal!* Finally, I’ll get a real name!
Mike: Yeah, sorry about taking so long. (I got too used just referring her to ED or my wife...) Hope you like it.
ES: I will, now tell me!
Mike: Okay, the name I decided on is… Ezra!
ES: YAY!!!!! Wait, are you naming me after a character from Fairy Tail?
Mike: Yeah, but she was also my favorite anime character of all time, so what better name than that…
Ezra: You put so much thought into it, thank you!(B: Logic.)
Mike: No problem. It didn’t feel right to just keep calling you ES. So, once again, I hope for a happy life time with you, Ezra.

Ezra: Mm!
After that, they had a little “celebration” that lasted about an hour since their were more important things to do. Mike promised Ezra that he’d continue tomorrow night. Ezra, still giddy over getting a real name, didn’t mind much and said she would be happy whenever.
Mike: Now, let’s buy that upgrade I wanted. I really want it now that I’ve seen the effects of the Kidaichu.
Farm System
Origin: Bringing the Farm to Live in Another World
Description: An update to your dimension that makes it so that a part of it is now changed to that of a spatial farm. This will create a dimension within the dimension where you will also be allowed to let non-contracted beings into. To enter the spatial farm, the owner must open a portal to it. (Allows for crops with special properties to grow in your dimension.) It can speed up the gestation period of crops, improve types of water/soil, house living creatures, store large amounts of objects, and make certain hostile creatures into allies if they enter. For a more deeper understanding of all this enhancement has to offer, refer to its source material. By spending C-points, gathering new samples, or continuously harvesting, it is possible to increase the level of the Farm. (Special areas will spawn when necessary.)
Cost: 10,000
Mike: This is a perfect enhancement to buy. While I don’t desperately need a large supply of crops at the moment, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a lot of potential as a breeding farm. Not to mention the fact that I can just buy special crops that will help me. Also, there’s probably a high chance of me reincarnating into a world full of special plants, so this is a really good investment for the future. While it might suck that I’ll have to wait for it to level up for the ranch, I can just bypass this by getting creatures that don’t require it. However, the best part of the farm is the fact that animals in it don’t go hungry. That means I shouldn’t have to worry about feeding the growing population of kindaichu since they wouldn't be able to survive on chakra from the environment for long.
After making his purchase, the area which was the forest where the kidaichu lived at shined with a bright flash before revealing that the insects were gone.
Ezra: Mike, why did a screen appear in front of me saying that I’m your farm helper?
Mike: Oh, I assumed that would only work on intelligent plant beings… Anyways, that just means that you’ve gained knowledge on how to work the farm, right?
Ezra: Oh, I really do know how it works. It seems that since it was created by the system, as your AI, I gained the knowledge on how it works. I guess that if you ever get another enhancement similar to this one, the same thing would happen.
Mike: Oh, well, that probably won't happen for a few years. I've probably pissed off the Noah, but they'll probably be a lot more inactive in the coming years so as to make sure there aren't other people like me.
Ezra: Mike, the system says that instead of buying the crops or plants directly from the system, it is better to go out and buy them since they'll give more experience and they'll make the prices for them in the shop go down.
Mike: Okay, I'll do that since this enhancement gets really strong later on. Let’s check out my new dimension.
Mike then opened up a portal that he instinctively knew how to create and then proceeded to walk with Ezra through it. On the other side of the portal, 3 plots of land could be seen that seemed prime for farming. There was also a large spring, a barn, a small forest area where the kidaichu could be seen moving about, and a small, average looking house. They explored a little more and pop ups appeared in front of them, telling them information about specific parts of the dimension.
(A: There, tables. I added them in so that you guys have extra incentive reasons to like the farm.)
Spatial Farm: lvl1 Description: The lvl of your farm. Level up to unlock more space and areas.
Spatial Soil: lvl1 Description: Soil that enable your crops to grow 2x as fast. Can be taken out. Add samples to level up.
Spatial Spring: lvl1 Description: Water that enable your crops to grow 2x as fast. Can be taken out. Add samples to level up.
Barn: lvl 1 Description: Storage system. Amount grows with level increase. Currently only 100 slots with 99 stacks.
House: lvl1 Description: Just a nice house. Leveling up the Spatial Farm increases its extravagance.
Weed Killer: lvl 1 Description: A pesticide that kills selected plants. Effectiveness increases with Spatial Farm lvl.
Bug Wand: lvl1 Description: Summons insects that attack plants. Effectiveness increases with Spatial Farm lvl or introduction of new species of insects.
Fly Swatter: lvl1 Description: Summons a gigantic fly swatter capable of causing greater amounts of damage as Farm lvl increases.
Insect house:
Description: Area where a variety of insects will live in harmony. Currently only Kidaichu live here. Insects wholeheartedly obey the owner’s commands.
After finishing the tour, Mike was extremely happy with the results, so much so, that he hugged Ezra which then led to them going into the house when things progressed a little too far. Afterwards, Mike browsed through the list of fictional crops, looking for some helpful ones, when he remembered that there was a really amazing type of crop that would help him out.
Mike: Of course! How could I possibly forget the ultimate, most classic healing/revitalizing food!?
Senzu Beans
Origin: Dragon Ball
Description: Special crops that can easily fill the hungriest of eaters and still bring them back to full energy.(Besides stamina, can also recover whatever other energy that the consumer has access to.) One stalk uses all of the nutrients in an entire plot. In the spacial farm, takes about 1 week to produce 3 beans. Stalk will continue to produce Senzu Beans.
(A: I have no idea what plants Senzu Beans come from, so just go with it.)
Cost: 1000
Mike bought two of them, and a shovel and two seeds appeared immediately afterwards. The shovel quickly dug holes in two of the plots which the seeds would fall into before being buried. Then, a bucket full of water appeared and poured water from the spring on the buried spots. Soon after, small sprouts appeared and it seemed that you could see them grow with the naked eye.
System: Time until Senzu stalk maturation: 2.5 days
Mike: I thought you were gonna tell me? Why did I get a pop up?
Ezra: Oh yeah, I kinda forgot. Hold on, I’ll change it… There. I’ll tell you when they’re done from now on.
Mike: Okay, nothing really left I guess other than to grow plants and grind EXP to level up the farm. Do you mind doing this with the empty plot while I go back and sleep, or is it too straining?
Ezra: Thanks for worrying, but I can manage. Don’t forget that as an AI, I am designed to be available to help you full time. My mind can function full time even if my body can't move.
Mike: Thank you, but make sure you don’t overwork yourself.
Ezra: Alright. Good night Mike. I love you. Make sure you rest. I’ll give you an update in about 10 hours.
Mike: Love you too, see ya tomorrow morning. *yawn*
After their goodbyes, Mike left back to his Vincent body and Ezra went to bed next to Mike’s floating body under the sheets.
