Chapter 2(POV MC)
Me: So, where am I going and what are you going to have me do?
CE: Oh, I’m just having you and a few others from your world take part in my entertainment, a "game" if you will. You know, the classic reincarnation situation that you mortals love so much. Except, there will be a little bit of a twist to it... Basically, I'll have you guys reincarnating into worlds similar to popular stories/fictions in your old world. I believe you've already read similar stories, correct? Well, the only major difference is that you won't be reincarnated just once... at the very least, you'll be reincarnated into 5 worlds. Also, their might be some noticeable differences between those worlds and the fiction counterparts, but we'll get more into those details later.
Me: ...Okay, but how will I play this "game" of yours, and what's the prize if I win?
CE: Look at you, taking the initiative to ask the important questions. We'll make a protagonist out of you yet. Well first off, each time you'll be reincarnated you will be given pretty accurate information about the story. For example: the main characters, the plot of the original story, etc; however, since you'll have your memories intact the moment you are born, the information might become obsolete. I will try my best to influence the world in a way so that their will be the least amount of changes in the early stages, but their is still a limit so try your best to mimic the original protagonist. This will increase the likely hood of the story following the original plot. Also, I will sometimes change and interfere with the world to make it a fitting level for you, the "player". Well, I might interfere if you piss me off.
Me: Wait, wha-!?
CE: Dont interrupt me. Now, as for how to play the game... I'll assign every player a couple of missions to do for whatever world they reincarnate into. There will be a main mission, side missions, and hidden missions. My advice to you is to try to focus on the main mission first.
As for the prizes if you win, they're pretty much anything you could possibly want.
Me: Anything? *gulp*
CE: Anything. Women, worlds, adventure, anything... So, did you understand everything so far?
Me: ...Give me a moment to come to terms with what you're saying. Even if most of my memories are gone, something deep inside of me makes me feel like I have to deny my situa-
CE: No! That's the stereotypical denial that almost all human beings face when going through situations such as this! I won't let it ruin my entertainment!... Sorry about that, I just really need the entertainment, I've been bored for far too long. Now, hurry up and man up. This is your reality, so deal with. Like almost any other LITRPG based story, just think “status” and it'll appear as either a window or just as information in your mind.
Me: (Might as well… Status.)

C-Points: 15000 (Alpha Tester Gift)
Next World Is Based On: D.Grayman
Me: … Mind explaining?
CE: No problem. Vitality is how strong and full of life your body is which includes your stamina, intelligence is your memory strength/capacity, agility is your speed/flexibility, strength is your muscle density, immunization is your immunity to pathogens/poisons, and processing is your mental ability to process information. I've raised all your stats to 10 since that is the very limit for humans to reach without breaking beyond their physical limitations.
Me: ...I'm assuming it's possible to break those physical limitations.
CE: It is, which is what I'll be talking about next. Since you've reached the limits as a human being, breaking those limitations as you are now will almost certainly end with your immediate and painful death, this time perhaps permanently. There are 2 ways to break your limits as a human being without a high chance of death. One is through mutations and the other is through energies. Equipment can also help out, but it's outside help so I wouldn't really count it as your own power. Oh, also, the higher your stats are, the more likely it is you'll survive going beyond your capabilities. After all, doing that is still possible, it's just the risk will be reduced.
Me: ...So how do I gain access to enhancements?
CE: (grin) This is where things get interesting. Creator points, or C-points for short, are what you will mainly use to gain access to different mutations, energies, and equipment which you can also gain as quest items/enhancements that you will find throughout your adventures. You can also use C-points for other things, but I'll leave that alone for now. Anyways, that covers mostly everything. Oh, the starting amount I've given you is just because you're the first generation of "players" that'll be involved in this game I've set up. Anything else you want to know?
Me: Just one more question I guess… Do I have no one waiting for me back on my old world?
CE: Don't worry, you were all alone.
Me: That somehow makes me feel worse...
CE: Don't worry, live and I'm sure you'll find so many people you'll care about that you won't even remember how alone you feel right now. That’s what the ‘contracted sentient beings’ system is for you know. It'll allow you to take an unlimited amount of people with you as long as they hold great affection towards you at the time and they agree. Also, the fact that you’re an otaku is something that should help you find great exchanges for yourself. There should really only be 10 or 15 others involved in this game that can be classified as otakus as well. Still, don't forget that if you don't fully believe me, you can always just become powerful enough to find out on your own for sure.
Me: ...Thank you for giving me this chance. I won't let you down.
CE: Whatever, as long as you keep me entertained (B:*cough* tsundere *cough*). Use your points wisely and look through the exchange system located on your status window to exchange for the things you want. Also, one more thing. Remember that this game is still in its infancy so somethings can easily be added/changed, okay. I am paying you to test it out. I'll be going now.
Me: See you soon.
CE: See ya- Oh wait, one last thing. If you don't get on my bad side, you can ask me questions that you don't know. I'll consider answering them. Bye.
And like that, Mike was left all alone to think about his future.
