Nymph's Kingdom Palace
----------King Henry's POV----------
I sigh as I rub my temple, a familiar headache creeping up. Even now, as I am doing paper work the memories of that day remain.
[Wife] “Are you okay? Are you still remembering it even now? You are not guilty, you have no reason to feel responsible… it was her choice.”
[Me] “Yes, I know… but why HER? Why did she not listen to me?! Why, even as I warned her… she still continued”
That day still replays on my mind. Bringing my own daughter to the executioner myself… I feel a slight tear spill from my eyes. Vision blurry, my memories continue to unfold. My youngest daughter, Princess Emma, had been infatuated with Blood Elves since birth. Normally that was okay, as all that happened was a little negative feelings from the Holy Elves, however that was before the war. Once the war started I begged her to stop visiting the royalty of the Blood Elves… but she chose to ignore me, pursuing knowledge. While normally knowledge comes first in our kingdom, there has always been a need to survive slightly above that, so I knew not where her passion was derived from.
One day, while having a meeting with the human kingdoms for a peace treaty they made only one large demand. This demand was to stop associating with all ‘demon spawn’, meaning Blood Elves. When my daughter would not listen I was given a choice from the alliance. The choices given was to lock my daughter away or to have her executed. I was forced, with my head down to accept these conditions so that my kingdom can survive. When my daughter was faced with these choices she chose execution. I believe her words were something like, “To lock me away and take from me my learning would be the same as torture. Get on with the execution so that I may have many other experiences.”
That night I accompanied her as humans, elves, and even other nymphs called for her death. She was mercilessly called many names, the most common of them all being the term ‘Black Blood’. After execution I received a letter from the fairies and the dwarfs. The contents of the letter stating that since I had even abandoned my own child to die that they were ashamed to have known me in the first place. At the end of the letter they spoke of breaking all contact between kingdoms, and we never heard from them since. It has been 6 years since that day, and yet the memories seem intent to drive me crazy with self-loathing.
I look up at the stars hanging in the sky in wonder. Emma, please watch over this kingdom despite how it has treated you. Daughter of mine, please me up there in the heavens singing and dancing amongst the stars. Oh daughter of mine… please forgive us.
----------Luna’s POV----------
Mnnn… I open my eyes and look around. I seem to be in my cultivation cave… what happened? Let's see… I was battling, OH! Abby was killed… and then… umm… I went on a rampage? Wait… I move my hands upwards. As they reached the top of my head I felt two large horns protruding off my head. I then look towards my hair and notice that it has changed to a pitch-black color. It couldn’t be… no I’m sure I’m a Blood Elf… not possible… unless… I quickly check my cultivation and gasp. I have entered level 3!!! This means that, including the experience I gained from massacring a sect, I have gained 3 tiers. This… this is unheard of!!!

Now that I think about it, this is similar to a demonic beast’s evolution. There are two things needed for a beast’s evolution. The first requirement is to have a key of some sort, for me it must have been my key necklace. The second requirement is that the demonic beast must be going through an extreme emotional, which for me must have been Abby’s death. No matter how much I look at it I just went through an evolution.
*Sigh* Unfortunately I can not achieve that power again because that power only comes forth when a beast is evolving and it is absorbing the mana from the earth at an alarming rate, allowing a major temporary boost of power. In fact, it is a well known rule not to ever approach a demonic beast when it’s evolving, because it will lose all reason and it will have a lot of power solely dedicated to wiping you off the face of the world.
Hmm… I can’t exactly leave the cave looking like a demonic being. Let's see if I can do something about it. I focus on my previous appearance and slowly I see my horns start to retract into my head and my hair do back to it’s blond color. Ahaa! I had my theory when demonic beings would be able to sneak into the human kingdoms, but I could never confirmed by theory. Now I have learned how to do this little trick, it is time to see the aftermath.
Taking a deep breath, I take a step outside of my cave and quickly fly towards the old battleground. What lie before me when I arrived was a massive amount of bodies belonging to the Heavenly Sun Sect, and about ⅕ of our sect’s disciples dead bodies being buried.
I fly over to Maria, who is in the process of comforting Tyler. I walk over to them and place my hand on Tyler’s shoulder. This is all I can do to comfort him right now. I look over at Maria and tell her something that has been on my mind for a while now.
[Me] “Maria, I plan on leaving the sect, and you should do so as well. I am going to adventure and see all the sights that the world has to offer while gaining enough power to protect whats mine. You should take Tyler and join another sect. In doing so you will gain power and safety.”
Maria, probably still in shock, could do nothing but mutely nod. Abby was also a friend of Maria’s, so it is only natural. Sighing I turn around and start searching for an elder. It takes me about half an hour until I find one, however when I find him, he starts his speech from the stage he is upon.
[Elder] “Attention all disciples! From here on out the Silver Sword Sect is officially disbanded! Due to major conflict with all major sect we will no longer be considered a sect! You are now able to join other sects or go off on your own! Remember, get strong not for arrogance but for others! That is all!”
That solves my problem. I start flying to the south of the sect and look back one last time at the sect. The sect that is no more, the sect that I became something else. Eyes still a little moist, I fly away… never to return again.
