< BUG REPORT >
Player
(It says you can only lose your when players kill you! I lost my spear when I got killed by an NPC! Isn't this a major bug!)
Rakth was furious. Not only did he waste all that time, he even died and dropped his main weapon, the spear. Now how was he going to kill those monsters without a weapon. He didn't want to waste more time by recreating an account.
"Those liars! Who says you won't drop your weapon to an NPC. Who was the idiot that said that!"
Dr. Baltor who kept a notification system on Eve noticed the bug reporting about it once it was sent.
He sighed a little exhausted, before smiling. "Well now another issue came up. What will I do? I can't leave her classified as an NPC and a PLAYER. It leaves too many issues that will continue to increase as she interacts with them. It seems I have to come up with a new TAG for this special person." Dr. Baltor began to think of what would be a perfect way to answer with this issue.
"Well, she is immortal. No longer restricted by a physical body, she now lives fully as a being in the virtual world. I have also given her the blessing all players have to respawn. Eve exists in the gray area, a middle area where we cannot fully define them. Using outlier would be the best way to describe her current standing."
He knew he couldn't leave it be. More and more players could interact with her. He needed to give a proper answer that allowed her to continue to experience everything a player can while being an NPC. In fact, he couldn't remove the NPC tag. Because Eve had no physical body that proved she was a player.
"I'll wait before she contacts me then. It will only be a matter of time before she asks why she is unable to leave the game." He shook his head before placing his attention elsewhere.
Eve, who just finished killing the player, noticed that she already leveled up. "Levelling up doesn't seem that difficult at all, but now the experience requirement increased."

Eve gained 12 attribute points with that single level. Having it set to equal, all her attributes were distributed equally possible. "Let's test the spear out." Although the daggers were cool, Eve just wasn't that comfortable getting that close to the monsters, she liked to stay back at a more comfortable range. Knowing they cannot reach her.
Taking out the spear, she was highly disappointed. Thrusting it a bit before stabbing a couple trees, she noticed it was hard to control. Not only that, it was predictable and slow. And contrary to belief it isn't that long, having not much reach as she expected the spears to have.
"I think I'm done playing." Eve smiled, she found herself distracted when playing this game, which was sort of a good thing. Not needing to worry about rent, food, homework, assignments and the like was a nice touching feeling.
Eve opened the menu to find the settings tab. Seeing the logout button, she selected it.

"Nothing is happening? Maybe it didn't receive feedback?" Selecting it once more... it did nothing. Eve began to freak out, not knowing why it wouldn't let her leave. Her face paled as she looked, clicking it multiple times before going to check the online forum. No one else seems to have this issue.
Not knowing what to do, she decided to contact her only friend [Dr. Baltor]. "He is a game developer, he will know the issue!" Eve hurriedly contacted him. Sending a voice chat request.
Dr. Baltor seeing the voice chat request knew in his heart that it was time. "Hah~... here it comes." With a heavy heart, still undecided on how to approach, he answered the call. "Hello."
Eve calmed down, not wanting to freak over a problem that may not be truly an issue. "Hello, uhm... I don't know how to say this. But, I cannot log out."
Dr. Baltor sighed once again, seeming to age as the time passed. "I can tell you the entire story. First off, please be calm when you hear this."
As Dr. Baltor began to introduce his background, along began to tell about how an experimental device was stolen from the lab. That device was then sold to a certain student and then was given to Eve. Unluckily she used this experimental device now stuck here for the rest of her life. "I'm sorry child. I cannot do anything. I am quite powerless to do so. If you have any suggestions, please state them, I might help you." He looked at Eve in worry.
Eve didn't know how to feel, in fact. It was opposite to what Dr. Baltor thought of. Eve was starting to lose hope in the real world. Having her emotions grated. Always constantly worrying about the rent, money, food, and work she had to do for a better future. A part of her actually liked this, and that feeling started to grow.
Eve began to tear up.
"I'm sorry, please don't cry." Dr. Baltor worriedly shouted in fear. He really hated giving the hurtful truth. A thought ran in his head. (Is this what doctors feel like when saying to family members about the death of a loved one?)
Eve then started to laugh. "No... no... I'm not crying because of that. In fact..." Eve didn't know what to say. Trying to think of why she was so happy to live forever in a game without worry. "I want to say... thank you. Thank you so much! I... I-I can't say just how much I... I like this. I don't have to worry about rent, about food, about money. I can freely live doing anything I want."
"Thank you." As if a massive weight lifted off of Eve's chest, her face that seemed to be full of pain was gone. Back to her childlike manner, she lost ever since having to become independent. With a smile on Eve's face, she laid down on the soft grass in the calming forest.
