Chapter 4 ◊ Godly NPC!

The players were confused. Why does an NPC want to learn more about the world? They were unsure what information they could give. For a moment, these players were completely stumped on what to give.

In a quiet and unsure voice, ◊ said, "The village is called Small Creek Village."

Eve looked at him. "I did not know that. Thank you." After saying so, Handsome Senior's eyes widened.

Gained: 1 Rep, 1 Exp

Seeing it worked, he thought of what other things to say. "The village elder's name is "

Gained: 1 Rep, 1 Exp

"Oh my god!" The other players seeing that had their eyes glow up. "Excuse me NPC." A player named "The village is called Small Creek Village!"

Eve shook her head. "I already know it." Once she said this, all the players took a few seconds to notice that these people around them were not friends, but enemies.

"My name is ."

Gained: 1 Rep, 0 Exp

Eve shook her head again. "Well, it's still something new. I would rather have information that is quite helpful."

"I only gained 1 rep and no exp?!" Goated Player complained about how ruthless this NPC was. While he was rubbing his head on what to say, a player in the back thought out of the box.

Walking up to he spoke, "The world is {Osmir} a world of swords, magic, dragons. Set in a medieval fantasy setting."

"Finally some helpful information." Eve looked to this new player. ◊ "So it's called {Osmir} thank you, stranger."

Gained: 10 Rep, 10 Exp

The player eyes lit up. "Hahaha! I got 10 Rep and 10 Exp." The surrounding players all were struck dumbly. Their faces all said the same thing. You can do that?

seeing the other piranha's stealing his quest was furious. "Think! C'mon think! Say something smart!" A thought struck him, he stood still, wanting to say it was dumb. But seeing the other players loudly competing each other saying all the knowledge they could think of off the top of their heads.

"There are twenty classes;

Warrior, Barbarian, Martial Artist

Assassin, Scout, Ranger, Archer

Knight, Guardian Knight, Paladin, Monk

Mage, Elementalist, Summoner, Enchanter

Healer, Cleric, Priest, Bard, and Dancer"

"Huh? An NPC won't understand that. This guy is just grasping at straws." The other players began to laugh at him.

Showing interest of what classes are. Eve wondered what; [Title], [Class], and [Profession] meant. Turning to the player, she asked. "What do those classes do?" Handsome Senior's eyes gleamed like a fire rekindling from a sudden fuel.

"The warrior are people like me who chose a weapon. You could choose between many types of sword, spears, or whips. Barbarian have more strength, so they use axes, hammers, or clubs. Martial Artist are unarmed, yet they are the most balanced in terms of attributes.

Assassins are focused on stealth, so they use daggers and sneak around. Scout's are the fastest class, but they lack strength and power. Ranger's mainly use tracking or traps. Archer's uses bows.

Knights are tanks, but they lose out on movement speed. Guardian Knight's are super tanks, they have even less movement speed. Paladin's use magic and weapons together. Monk's are purely physical, they lack heavily in mana size.

Mage is the universal magic classes. Elementalists are mages who specialize in using elements to their advantage, being the common five; five, water, earth, wind, lightning. Summoner's use beasts to fight for them, Enchanters are a support class that uses buffs and debuffs.

Healers are the basic healing class. Cleric are more focused on single target healing. Priest's have more AOE healing. Bard's use music to fight. Dancer uses dances to support. "

Eve eyes softened to this helpful player. "That is very helpful. Thank you very much." Handsome Senior's eyes widened impossibly at the reward.

Gained: 30 Rep, 30 Exp

"What?!"

"That's UNFAIR!"

"How is that possible!"

Players all around exclaimed their shock that the NPC allowed that. They first were angered that it was allowed, but the others who adapted faster took upon this opportunity to gain more experience points. They began to share every knowledge they could come think of, such as how levels worked.

What happens when you die. What drops from what monsters. How much experience you gain from them.

While these players were rushing to find newer information to give away, a forum was posted online.

~ NPC with {Unique} (Repeatable) quest! Exploit to level fast! ~

~ Unique NPC in (Small Creek Village) with easy quest! ~

Many forums popped-up, gaining traction. Players all around exclaimed their shock at the players in (Small Creek Village) being so lucky.

"Hmpf. You only got to Lv. 1 because of a unique NPC. If I had an NPC like that, I would easily be Lv. 2!" (Likes 32, Dislike 2)

"Keep talking! You are only envious person above ^^^." (Likes 12, Dislikes 15)

"That's right, we have a cool NPC. What do you have? Tears!" (Likes 30, Dislike 22)

Meanwhile, while the people on the forum began to furiously argue. The one who was profiteering the most was not any of the players. It was Eve. From not knowing how to play games with, all these professionals voluntarily helping this noob, it would be a matter of time before she overcame these players.

"It's been a couple of hours. Many of their statements are no longer helpful. I'll close this quest then." Eve looked to the large group before her. "Thank you all, but it seems none of you have anything to add. Therefore, I will be leaving." Closing the quest, Eve then started to apply what she learned from these players.

The newcomers who saw this seeing the NPC leave had their faces pale. "Argh, I missed such a big opportunity!"

The other players who were at the start gloated over those newcomers with a beaming smile. "Heh! Look at me, I am already level one." He pointed to his chest with narcissism.

"I wonder why were those people so willing to share information, perhaps it's not that vital? Hm... whatever, knowing that won't help me. They said that the goal is to get stronger and enter the city. Only those who are level 10 can enter the city, the village elder stated this. There are two main ways of gaining experience, killing monsters or completing quests."

"I don't see any quests available, nor do I want to wait in such a long line. Let's go kill a monster." Leaving the village, Eve headed towards the nearby forest once again in search of monsters, this time.
