Regulus Eda Grigori Azali was no longer bound.
He was now free to leave his mother in search of sustenance.
But he didn't. Afterall, his mother still had some left to give and the tiny foods still nest inside her mother.
And so he stayed, and feast on them.
Until one day, four legged beasts came. They are bigger than the winged blacked things and smaller than the two giants.
Regulus Eda Grigori Azali knew from experience that bigger things might eat him. Afterall, he ate those tiny crawlers, and he was almost eaten by the giants.
So he hid. He observed the four legged beasts that devoured what was left of his mother.
Regulus Eda Grigori Azali knew that it was time to leave. His mother could no longer provide for him. If he linger any longer, those four legged beasts might try to eat him, just like those giants.
Regulus Eda Grigori Azali crawled away from his mother. He needed food, but he didn't know where to find them.
He crawled and crawled. Sometimes he found patches of green things embedded on the ground. He tried to eat those but it didn't fill him.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Sometimes he found colorful things near the green things. He ate them and they tasted a bit sweet, but it wasn't enough.
He found giant brown things enrooted on the ground. Some of them had small green things hanging in the sky. Some of them didn't and only had sharp brown spikes.
He could not climb those brown things. He tried to eat the skins of the brown thing, but it was too hard and crunchy.
His hands could not crush it.
However there were many tiny things crawling near the giant brown thing.
He could crush them.
So he stayed there for a bit and feasted on whatever he could find.
Sometimes, he found giants that were lying on the ground, just like his mother. Some of them were hard to scrap, unlike his mother. Some of them were surrounded by four legged beasts that were bigger than him.
He once saw a group of giants of various sizes. All of them are bigger than him. Some of them looked like the two giants that he first met.
Unlike the giant lying. They are moving. He avoided them as much as he could.
Sometimes, the giants were laid on the ground. But if approached they might move.
To avoid giants that light move, he listened to something that all moving creatures do… breathing.
That's how Regulus Eda Grigori Azali distinguishes between death and the living.
Generally, Regulus Eda Grigori Azali avoided the living. He only approached the dead and smaller living beings. He learned how to differentiate size by the noise they made. Whenever he heard the noise of larger beings, he hid himself. He learned to rely on his ear more than his eyes.
Regulus Eda Grigori Azali interacted mostly with small living beings and things that did not breathe. The world was filled with them.
Many of them he did not truly understand. He was curious about things that he did not understand.
No one was there to teach him.
So Regulus Eda Grigori Azali made a choice.
He chose to never forget. So one day he could understand what he did not know.
Each day he experienced new things. Steadily accumulating memories. Slowly but surely turning them into knowledge.
Everyday he was evolving.
Right now, he was nothing but an insignificant being, who was supposed to be forgotten in the anals of history.
But not for long.
One day, he would leave his mark on history.
One day, he would be known as the greatest evil in history.
In the future he will achieve it…
Right now, he is making baby steps towards it.
