Bright lights stung the boy's eyes, piercing his closed eyelids.

He opened his eyes.

The sun, shining brightly on top of him.

He was lying on top of the grass.

He jerked himself up and checked his body, he was still alive.

Then he remembered about the girls. What happened to them?

He looked at his surroundings. He saw a cabbage patch in front of him.

Regulus Eda Grigori Azali and the girls were there, eating stolen cabbages.

When she saw the boy wake up, the girl grabbed a cabbage and gave it to the boy.

"Here, eat it"

The boy caught a freshly picked cabbage. Very nutritional. Much healthy. So Organic.

"What happened? How did we?"

The girl casually ate her cabbage. Then she pointed at Regulus Eda Grigori Azali, the answer to the boy's question.

"He saved us, he dug us out."

"..."

'Please… someone save us.'

The boy remembered.

'He saved us. He heard me.'

The boy cried. All of a sudden, his body felt limp. All the burden, pressure, and pain the boy felt were lifted.

'He saved us.'

The boy held back his tears. He ate his cabbage in an instant, recovering his energy.

Once he finished eating, he approached Regulus Eda Grigori Azali.

He bowed.

Bowed so deep his body hugged the ground.

"Thank you, thank you."

The boy submitted himself in front of Regulus Eda Grigori Azali.

"Thank you."

The boy showed his appreciation.

The girl couldn't help herself to smile. She put her cabbage on the ground.

She approached Regulus Eda Grigori Azali. She sat in front of him.

She bowed her head.

"Thank you."

The girl's genuine words.

The younger girl dropped her cabbage. She hugged Regulus Eda Grigori Azali.

Smearing snot and tears on his hair and body.

"Thank you."

And the boy hugged him too.

And so did the girl.

And they all smeared snot and tears onto Regulus Eda Grigori Azali.

Said one of the younglings.

Then he dropped to the ground. Hugging it.

"It.Dig?"

Then another youngling approached him.

She sat in front of him, tucking her leg and putting her arms on her legs.Then she tucked her head while saying 'Thank you'

Her pose was similar with how a Molrret usually slept. Legs tucked in, arm outside, their claws covering them, their body in fetal position with their head tucked in.

Her posture was close enough. Those 'Thank you' were probably their snore.

'It.Sleep?'

Then the smallest youngling charged at him, hugging him.

It was not powerful enough to hurt him, so he did not register it as aggression.

And then the smallest youngling started to smear liquid on him.

'It.Spread.Smell?'

Then other younglings charged at him. Hugging him and spreading their smell.

'They.Join.Herd'

Then he spread his smell on them.

'One.Of.Us'

What a happy day…

His herd just got bigger.
