CHAPTER 3
FULL MOON BLOOM(2)
Levi stood behind his window admiring the beauty of the moon tonight. “When was the last time I got to see the full moon bloom like this? Huh” Levi sighed. Not knowing who his parents are or why they abandoned him in the first, Levi grew up in an orphanage. Life in the orphanage was not bad, he even made some friends. Growing up Levi knew his situation as an orphan so he placed all his efforts into his studies, landing him all sorts of scholarships leading to who he currently is. Not forgetting his roots Levi sends funds every month to help support the orphanage.
Deciding to leave the windows open for tonight, in a swift motion after turning around Levi leaped on to his bed spreading his arms and legs in a carefree manner as le laid. Welcoming the peace of the night Levi peacefully drifted into sleep whiles slowly adjusting his breathing.
The city seems peaceful tonight as the moon hangs in the sky, or is it?. Under the allure of the full moon, Strange Creatures crawl out from the shadows wanting to cause chaos but seem hesitant for fear of being detected by them. Growls and howls were carried into the deep of the night breaking its peace. The night became gloom and the moon shone brighter, ushering the unsealing of some unclean things that slipped through the net but now choose to be in hiding to prevent being pursued by them.
Unaware of all what was happening, Levi slept in his bed but his current facial expression showed signs of struggle as he seemed to be having a nightmare or rather being plunged in a deep nightmare. His room became illuminated with moonlight, creeping to every corner of his apartment. With the creeping of moonlight the urn suddenly shook. Reacting to the moonlight by emitting an intense crimson glow, cracks gradually started appearing on the urn and in a split second it shattered. An intense suffocating evil aura spread out of a vague shadow that emerged out of the urn enveloping the room, dying the room in crimson.

Hovering in Levi’s room the vague shadow entity seemed agitated, in a split second it turned around and merged with Levi. Suspending in the air Levi’s body was emitting a bone chilling cold as chaotic crimson runes appeared out of the void and merged with him, almost like re-writing his genetics. Despite being in deep sleep his facial expression showed the intense pain of the moment.
“where am I? This must be a dream but why does my body ache so much” Levi questioned himself whiles looking at the unfamiliar scene around him. The sky was crimson and all around him no signs of life because the aura of death and decay was abundant. The grounds were littered with Corpses so creatures not seen before. Levi stood in the midst of a massive graveyard, strangely he didn’t feel disgusted on the contrary he was okay which was not normal.
RUMBLE!!! the earth shook, the source of the rumble caught Levis attention causing him to look up. A crimson cube with ancient runes engraved on it levitated in the sky frantically whipping the giant chains attached to it. The Chains seemed to come alive, they dived down tore through the corpses devouring each and everyone of them.
After witnessing such a strange scene Levi once again confirmed that he was dreaming. But it seemed so real. “Fuck why do I feel like those chains are looking at me” Levi cursed as he cautiously retreated planning to make a run for it. Noticing Levi’s actions, the chains descended with astonishing speed sweeping Levi into the air catching him off guard.
Without warning they tore through him. “I am also going to be devoured, on second thought if this is a dream why the fuck does it hurt as hell”. Levi lamented when facing such a hopeless ordeal. He can only hope to wake up to free himself from this nightmare. Glowing intensely the cube and chains began to melt and merge with Levi. AHH!!! Levi screamed due to the unexplainable pain of the moment. Levi’s body slowly levitated back to the bed after going through the transformation process.
Levi shoot out of his bed sweating buckets after experiencing such a realistic nightmare as the sunlight reflected in his room signifying a new day. “Finally awake. Can’t help but feel death silently creeping on my door. I think I need a cold shower to get myself together.” Levi approached the bathroom failing to notice the pieces of the broken urn on the table and floor.
