Writing about past lives, future lives, alternate realities can be a proper pain in the rear - I often have to go back and edit early chapters to ensure continuity and harmonize themes. There are many chapters that were discarded - unfortunately :( It would have been a fun read but inadvertently shoved Emily into a supernatural universe.

At the risk of providing potential spoilers - as Emily is getting 'in deeper' into this universe, she is questioning her identity. Who is she? Is she Daniel who has essentially hijacked the consciousness of a child? Or is Emily a little girl with memories of a random individual whom she unconsciously challenges? I've been dropping hints in the last few chapters - but it won't be until about chapter twenty something that I more clearly answer what has happened :)

The next few chapters will be more...thougthful - and I hope I haven't inadvertently over jargoned them. But whoever or whatever Emily is, they have found a place in this universe, would they be ready to leave it?
