Wow! You've made it this far? I really am grateful. I don't think it can be easy reading so much single space text on a screen.
I really hope this story is resonating with you. I put my heart and soul into each chapter - researching the 90s, understanding child psychology, reviewing quantum mechanics to see which theories best apply to what happened to Emily, and almost always playing music that resonates with the tone the chapter is trying to set.
The music is typically instrumental, from video games, anime, or movies.
My favorites are How to Train Your Dragon, Call of Duty, Moshuku Tensei, The Familiar of Zero, a bunch of oddball Hans Zimmer music, Bon Jovi (instrumental version), Fallout and Skyrim. It really helps set the mood which then translates into good writing.

So with all that drivel aside - where are we going with arc 3?
In Arc 1 and 2, Emily has situated and stabilized herself in this world. She has realized she wants to stay in this universe even though she doesn't know how she got here. That my dear reader is answered in Chapter 27...or maybe its 28...I'm still refining it.
Arc 3 is largely about Emily now knowingly and willingly exploring her world - be it through hangouts with friends, generally being a kid and a bit of a pest too, and realizing that she can be a protector. She is talking about Daniel more and more in the third person which is some foreshadowing for the future.
Unfortunately, this arc also forced her/Daniel to face their health trauma. I simultaneously loved and hated writing that chapter because I'm bonding with these characters - and the pain they feel is often based off the literal pain I have lived through. Yes - some of the experiences are in fact, real - they happened to me.
Well, I hope you enjoy the next few chapters. Ther are multiple themes in there, but the underlying theme is still how love and support can make a troubled individual's life a hundred times better.
