After the explosion of the star he had created, Verlin didn't plan on giving up. Since the planet was permanently scarred anyway, he might as well complete what he had come here for. He decided to wait out most of the aftermath of the explosion.
Verlin sat down on one of the rocks that had been blasted into space and watched the doomsday event happening on Venus. While he waited, he decided to see how his body had changed from the explosion. The first thing he noticed was his field of vision, previously limited to 120 degrees, had expanded to a full 360, granting him an uncanny perception of his surroundings. Disorienting at first, but he had swiftly adapted, his advanced Kryptonian brain processing the extra visual input with ease.
Verlin peered at his hand, examining the changes to his cellular structure. His cells had gone through a change as well. They seemed to have become denser and looked vibrant and full of energy. Absorbing such a large amount of radiation at a time might not be such a good thing. Verlin knows that some versions of kryptonians can die from overloading their cells with stellar radiation.
And it seemed like his cells were quite saturated at the moment, absorbing another explosion like that would be detrimental to his cells. It would be best to give his cells more time to evolve to being more efficient and better at storing energy. That way, he could keep getting stronger endlessly without endangering his life.
Verlin also knew his strength and speed had gone through a huge change as well. But he had never had a chance to test his full strength. The last time he tested his lifting power was with that million ton iceberg back on earth, and if he was being honest. It was extremely lightweight. At the time, he threw the iceberg a kilometer into the air, but he was sure he could have thrown it into space if he really wanted to.
But since he was on Venus, now would be a perfect time to let loose. Looking down at Venus and seeing that the shockwaves travelling through the planet had come to a halt. Verlin stood up from the floating asteroid he was on and dived back into the planet's scorched surface once again. The rush of wind whipped past him, a harsh and fiery wind unlike the gentle breezes of Earth. His speed caused what was left of the atmospheric gases to combust around him, creating a fiery halo that followed his trajectory down to the surface.
The moment he touched down, he did so with an immense force that sent a shockwave rippling across the desolate landscape, kicking up a storm of rocks and dust. His strength was indeed greater than before, He had attempted a soft landing, but his weight seemed to have also increased immensely, usually he has his bioelectric forcefield to cancel out his weight to act more like a regular human, but he hadn't taken into account the added weight.
He scanned the landscape for the largest structure he could find—a massive mountain, half melted from the intense heat of the explosion. Verlin estimated its weight to be several billion tons. He flew beside the mountain and flexed his muscles and braced himself against the ground, then reached out to grab the mountain by its base.
He spread his bio electric forcefield around the mountain as his hands dug into the molten rock as he uprooted the mountain from the ground causing the ground to sink and cracks continued to form several tens of kilometers in radius. He had successfully lifted the mountain and It felt as if he was lifting nothing more than a big rock, he could feel the weight unlike the iceberg back on earth but it was definetly far from his maximum lift. He estimated his lifting capabilities might have breached into the trillions range.
Verlin set down the mountain, which caused an earthquake in the area, luckily he had decided to come to Venus for his experiments otherwise, the anticipated war going on back on earth would have been the least of his problems.
As Verlin started thinking of ways to make a proper container for the miniature star as he couldn't afford another explosion. His thought process was halted as he noticed something that he shouldn't be feeling on Venus. He felt like someone was watching him. He usually had this feeling all the time on Earth as there were people, cameras, and satelittes all over the planet, but Venus had none of that.
Verlin's super senses allowed him to pick up on even the faintest of disturbances, and this feeling of being watched was distinct and triggered his instincts. He scanned the barren landscape, his eyes darting in all directions, but he couldn't detect any signs of life. Venus was a desolate planet, void of any known living organism. He had scanned the entire planet before entry, so he was sure of this.
Curiosity and caution mingled within Verlin as he tried to make sense of the situation. Could it be that the explosion and its aftermath had attracted the attention of the enhanced humans on earth. Did they even have the technology to make it to Venus in such little time? Or was it simply a figment of his imagination.
Verlin decided to follow his instincts and investigate further. He took to the skies, soaring above the ruined surface of Venus, scanning the horizon for any signs of activity. He continued upwards and entered space. He tried looking around with his bare eyes and saw nothing but asteroids littering space from the explosion. He turned on his electromagnetic vision and tried looking for any notable differences along the spectrum.

As Verlin activated his electromagnetic vision, the world around him transformed into a tapestry of colors and energy patterns. He scanned the expanse of space surrounding Venus, searching for any anomalies or disturbances that could explain the feeling of being watched.
Through his enhanced vision, Verlin could perceive a vast array of electromagnetic waves, from the visible spectrum to infrared and beyond. He scrutinized the cosmic landscape, searching for any traces of technological signals or unusual energy signatures.
Suddenly, a faint ripple caught his attention. It was a subtle disturbance in the fabric of space, a distortion that indicated the presence of something, Verlin quickly followed it, and the dissipating trace continued for about 100 kilometers before it suddenly disappeared. Verlin decided to be cautious and circled the entire planet in seacrh for any signs of the signal that was left but couldn't find anything.
He was sure there had been something there observing him. It didn't seem like there were hostile, or if they were, they might have been scared away by the explosion. It seemed he would have to go back and have a talk with Alexander about this, if it weren't the enhanced humans. He might have found a clue on the people providing the technology to the Federations.
After staring into space in deep thought for a couple more seconds, Verlin flew back down to Venus. He decided to continue the attempt of making an energy source. This time, he would condense a metal so dense even he couldn't break it down into a denser form. This will be the material he would use as a container for the miniature star.
Verlin flew back down to the mountain he had previously lifted and flew down right beside it. He had already uprooted the mountain, now what he was gonna do was spread his bio electric forcield around the entire mountain and compress it on all sides with his strength. As he thought, so he did.
Verlin focused his powers, enveloping the mountain with his bio electric forcefield. The invisible forcefield surrounded the molten rock, forming a protective barrier around it. He then applied immense pressure from all sides, using his super strength to compress the mountain into a denser and more compact form.
As Verlin exerted his strength, the mountain began to shrink under the immense pressure. The rocks and minerals fused together, creating a solid mass of extraordinary density. The ground beneath Verlin trembled as the compressed mountain settled into a smaller, condensed shape. This continued for a period of time before the once large mountain with a base diameter of 5km had now shrunking down to a condensed ball of dense metal, 80 meters in diameter.
Verlin looked at the condensed metal in front of him, he tried compressing it again by it didnt budge, He looked at the metal with his microscopic vision and could see how compact the molecules of the metal was. It had density several orders of magnitude above osmium, which was the densest metal known to man.
He looked at the condensed metal and decided to name it kryptonium, for it needed the strength and power of a kryptonian to condense. Verlin admired his creation, the condensed ball of dense metal now known as Kryptonium. Its extraordinary density and durability made it the perfect candidate for containing the miniature star he intended to create.
The only downside to kryptonium was its weight. Although it might only be 80 meters in diameter, the weight hasn't changed, and it still had a mass of about 8 billion tons. Only a being of similar strength or a civilization with advanced technology can have any hopes of using it. Luckily, with his strength holding it wasn't a problem, the problem was that he couldn't bend and fold the kryptonium to make a shell for the miniature star.
Verlin pondered for a bit before deciding to use his heat vision. He could use his heat vision in two ways, one for penetration through immense heat and another for impact, making his heat vision have a concussive effect. Verlin used to the former to use heat to accelerate the movement of particles in the kryptonium, making it more malleable. Verlin activated his heat vision, blasting the kryptonium with the immense heat.
But the metal remained unmoved, Verlin kept increasing the intensity and temperature of his heat vision until the color of his heat vision started changing from the deep red coulour to a deep orange color. At this time, the kryptonium molecules started accelerating, and it became more malleable.
When Verlin noticed the metal was now adjustable, he kept the temperature stable and started shaping the kryptonium into a container shape, but he didn't use all the metal. He used about 10% of the material. And turned it into a container with an opening at the top. After Verlin stopped using his heat vision. He noticed that the ground underneath him had turned into a molten lava lake, but only a couple hundred meters in radius. The surroundings had been warped by the intense heat. The temperatures of his heat vision must have reached upwards of 40,000 degrees celsius. Meaning Kryptonium was also highly heat resistant.
Verlin carefully examined the container he had created from the kryptonium. It had a smooth, metallic surface, and its size was suitable for housing the miniature star he planned to create. He approached the container and used his X-ray vision to scan the inside, ensuring it was free from any imperfections or irregularities that could compromise its purpose.
Seeing that it was without problems. It was time to create the miniature star once again, he lifted the container and flew to the other side of the planet, since most of the atmosphere of this half of the planet was gone, he had to go to the otherside to get the elements necessary for nuclear fusion.
It only took a couple of seconds through space to get there. He landed and dropped the kryptonium container on the ground. He proceeded to repeat the same process he used to create the last miniature star. The process didn't take too long and the miniature star was condensed in the chamber. Verlin quickly closed the container with the lid he had created from kryptonium and used his heat vision to completely seal it.
Afterward, he quickly flew into space and looked down at the container holding the small star. He used his X-ray vision to look inside the chamber and could see the star was very stable, and the kryptonium chamber showed no signs of falling apart. Verlin decided to wait longer for any changes. But after what felt like a couple of minutes, everything was perfectly fine.
Verlin quickly returned to the ground with a smile on his face, he turned on his electromagnetic vision and looked at the kryptonium chamber and noticed none of the energy of the miniature star was leaking out, this also meant that kryptonium was good at blocking out radiation, which was a nice bonus.
Verlin turned off his electromagnetic vision and turned on his X-ray vision, He looked at the miniature star pulsing with energy, he could tell its energy was slowly radiating into the chamber, but since not of it was being expelled, the energy returned to the minature star. After the supernova from before, Verlin had been wandering since his bio electric field could contain all forms of matter, even the hydrogen and helium gases. He decided to test something out.
He flew to the top of the chamber and used his heat vision to re open the lid, and in less that a ten thousandth of a second, he reached into the chamber and surrounded the miniature star with his bioelectric force field. Seeing that it was safe, he slowly lifted the miniature star out of its container.
Verlin lifted up the miniature star to his face and could feel the radiation pour into his cells. He looked at the miniature star in his hands and couldn't help muttering, " Sweet "
