In no time, the rest of the troops arrived. As General Felix landed, he saw the massive crater twice the size of a football field although he saw it from afar he still couldn't help but be slightly excited but he didnt show it, he walked up to one of the pilots that was saluting him and asked
"Did you spot anyone around the perimeter?"
"No, Sir, but..."
"Speak"
"We noticed a humanoid standing in the middle of the crater, we didn't dare to make any excessive movement , but when we flew the jet directly over him, he remained completely intact without movement."
General Felix squinted his eyes. He knew the type of force that could be generated from a jet flying over objects, even houses could collapse by just flying over. He nodded his head to the soldier and made his way to the crater, behind him, more than 30 soldiers armed to the teeth.
As they approached the crater, they heard footsteps coming from it. What appeared before them was what looked like a human, about 1.75 meters tall. He looked like a teenager who had just escaped high school. he had silver hair and blue eyes, and he was completely naked. But this didn't seem to bother him as he made his way over with a smile that said 'Let's get along'.
Verlin Pov.
When he appeared before them, he knew to expect some hostility, after all, it's the first time in contact to what they thought to be an alien, so he tried to act as friendly as possible. When the general spoke, he immediately knew there was a problem. They didn't speak the same language. Thinking about it, he didn't even know what he expected. He came to a brand new world and expected to be able to talk to someone like he's meeting an old friend.
As he was trying to communicate to them, he felt something in his eyes, like everything zoomed in, and he could see the fine details on the face of the soldiers, the sweat rolling down their forehead, their eyes dilating, he could see they were very shaky, like one of them was gonna accidentally pull the trigg.....Before he could finish his thought he heard a bang.

And then everything came to a stand still, he didn't quite understand what was going on but he saw the micro expressions of the soldiers freezing in place, he looked to the left and saw a bullet in mid air, but it wasn't moving at all. He moved towards the general and stood right in front of him, waving his arms in front of his eyes, no reaction.
He figured this was super speed, but it was a bit more exaggerated than what he saw in the comics, I mean, even the bullet that was supposed to travel 2 times the speed of sound was at a stand still. And another problem came up he didn't know how to exit this mode. So he started trying to slow down his thinking process, kinda like making yourself talk and move in slow motion, although it seemed ridiculous, it was working, the bullet that was in mid air started moving again albeit very slowly, as he continued to drag his thinking process through the mud, he saw the facial expressions of the soldier who shot the bullet twist in horror ,he moved himself back to the position he was before the time stop and stood there as everything went back to normal. He also noticed that moving at this speed was very uncomfortable. It was like slowing down your own movement. It had to be consciously done, or he would slip back into super speed.
The bullet was quite accurate and hit him right in the forehead, but this went unnoticed as the wind from all the moved he just did started catching up, blowing the soldiers along with the general several meters away. Not only were they shocked, but he was also shocked. He quickly moved towards them in an attempt to apologize and help the general stand up, but as he walked towards them, the ground beneath his foot sank, and as he left one hole, another was created with his other leg.
"..."
This time, even the general couldn't keep a straight face as he was about to have the soldiers attempt to turn him to Swiss cheese. Velrin immediately raised his hands up to show that he wouldn't resist, but he raised it a bit too fast, and the air around his hand reacted immediately, sending sharp winds into his surroundings and also towards the soldiers, making some of their clothes rip, and creating cuts on their faces.
Verlin was so confused. He knew that he had awakened super strength, but he didn't understand why it was so hard to control, So he decided to stay completely still so, they can try to arrest him and take him back to their base, he already felt bad.
When the general saw that the wind generating alien stopped moving, he immediately took the opportunity to have his soldiers decimate him, he yelled at the top of his lungs "Fire". As the hail of bullets went directly to the unmoving alien, he watched in shock as the bullets landed on him and bounced off. Seeing that the bullets did nothing, he ordered the soldiers to move as far back as possible and then ordered the soldiers on the jets to fire small yield missiles at the humanoid that remained unmoved.
"Boom."
After the explosion he waited for the smoke to clear out then he saw the alien, in the same surrendering position, but he didn't make a move, he doesn't dare to think of this alien as a human, who knows maybe he was generating some sort of large scale attack with that pose, so he ordered his soldiers to move further back, After being more than 250 meters away from it, he immediately contacted the headquarters for back up. He knew they couldn't leave because, what If the alien went towards a city and started causing a disaster, he couldn't let that happen, so they waited another hour for back up and the whole time, the alien didn't move an inch, while his soldiers were pissing their pants, some even accidentally fired shots multiple times.
And seeing that the alien didn't really mean any harm, he was thinking whether he should go up and try to communicate, but he immediately shook his head and decided to patiently wait for backup.
