After a short lunch break, Luke and the gang stepped onto the fourth floor, where the Spells classroom was in the corridor to the left of the fourth floor. They were unsurprised to see the school administrator, Filch, and his cat, Madame Loris. Because the corridor on the fourth floor to the right was off-limits, Dumbledore had mentioned at the opening banquet, "I must tell you all that anyone who does not wish to meet with an accident, a painful and tragic death, please do not enter the corridor on the fourth floor to the right."
No one who wanted to be confined turned dutifully to the left and waited for Professor Flivvy to teach.
Filius Flivi, Dean of Ravenclaw and Professor of Hogwarts Magical Spells he was surprisingly short, and during class he had to stand on a stack of books, which was all he could do to reach the lectern.
He took out his roster for roll call and when he read Harry's name he squealed with excitement and fell to the floor and disappeared.
Luke didn't find anything to scoff at about this; he didn't think that Professor Freeway was so excited in any way because Harry Potter had nominally defeated Voldemort, or because he was some kind of saviour star, or anything like that, like the rest of the young wizards in the school who had gathered around Harry.
Professor Freeway had studied magic spells for so many years, and Harry was the only one known to have survived the Unforgivable Spell - the Avada Sorrow spell cast by Voldemort himself - and the phenomenon of a killing spell cast by such a powerful wizard failing on Harry or even bouncing back to the person who had cast the spell was what caused Professor Freeway to lose his temper. This was completely different from the case of that kind of Solemnisation Spell that could only cause a bit of nosebleed that was cast by that kind of lesser wizard whose magic power and will were not strong enough.
Even though Luke already possessed the Encyclopaedia of Magic Spells, he still listened very carefully to Professor Freeway's explanation, taking notes, a spell, it was important to understand how to pronounce the syllables and how to wave the wand, but it would be even more fascinating if he could figure out the principle behind it - if successfully casting a spell was only considered to be building a house according to the existing method of utilising the If the successful casting of a spell is only considered as a worker who builds a house according to the existing theories and methods, Luke, as a Ravenclaw, would like to know more about the reasoning and theories used by the wizard who invented the spell, and this is considered as a path that belongs to the "scientists" in the wizarding world.
Spells class should be considered Luke's best subject at present, and he is still the fastest and the best one to finish it.
"Ten points for Luke, for your precise spell casting manoeuvres." Professor Freeway looked at Luke with an incredibly kind expression - Ravenclaw, who liked to focus on their own matters and personal achievements without much desire to perform, had been suppressed by Slytherin and Gryffindor for far too long, and this term, Luke's excellence and performance far exceeded that of the rest of the young wizards, which made this Dean of Ravenclaw also unable to resist seize the opportunity to add a few extra points for his own academy.
In the next Herbology class, Luke, by virtue of his unforgettable ability to memorise the textbooks long ago, perfectly answered the questions posed by Professor Sprout and gained another five points for Ravenclaw. At this, the Ravenclaw students quickly adapted and were proud of themselves. They quietly gave Luke nicknames such as 'The Score Controller' and 'The Score Controller'.
Luke's performance later proved that he definitely deserved those names, thanks to his strong magical powers compared to his peers and the experience of being exposed to and practising magic a whole year earlier.
But even with flying lessons, Luke was one of the best flyers amongst the younger wizards in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff first years, and with his older brother and sister both varsity members when they were at the school, the Harris family had a decent amount of talent in that area.

While Luke didn't find flying through the sky on a broomstick as comfortable as flying in an aeroplane in his previous life, the invention of the cushion spell by Elio Smeth in 1820 had taken the manufacture of a more comfortable broomstick a big step forward, and at least made it so that they men didn't find it overly uncomfortable to sit on. And the thrill of taking off at any time and being able to sprint and hover however you wanted was something you couldn't experience in an aeroplane.
And even in the Potions class, which was rumoured to be the scariest class amongst the young wizards, Luke, who didn't have the aggressive attitude of Miss Know-It-All, answered the questions in a way that made the Slytherin Headmistress and the Potions professor, Severus Snape, impeccable, which also made the greasy old bat, who was previously aware of Luke and Harry's friendship, hostile towards Luke's attitude dropped quite a bit.
The precise technique of Luke, who had McLean's Alchemy to control his muscles when brewing potions, was beyond the reach of the other students, but he was following the textbook to the letter to complete the task, and Professor Snape's occasional flashes of one-upmanship showed Luke that he still had a long way to go in Potions class.
"Harris, your haemostatic salve took so long to complete, I'm afraid the wound will have recovered on its own by the time you finish boiling it any later! Putting in some mint helps to make the poultice more comfortable, and the smell will become more palatable to you pretentious spoilt children ...... It's easier to get the juice out of it when you use the hilt of your silver knife to press on it." Professor Snape scowled and lectured Luke, who had been the first to finish the hemostatic ointment.
"Why doesn't Snape think about it, who makes a salve on the spot when they're injured? It's all spare alright!" An exasperated Edward couldn't help but mutter.
"Edward, it's Professor Snape! He's teaching us some tricks we won't learn in the textbook." Luke helped Edward cut the herbs.
"He didn't give you a single point for doing such a good job!" Edward was still indignant.
"See, I did what he said, and isn't your salve of better quality?" Luke threw the cut herbs into the crucible, and the ointment turned blue-green in a flash, and gave off a minty fragrance.
"It shows that I do have something to improve on. To be able to dutifully teach the skills, it seems that Professor Snape is a genuine Potions Master, and these techniques of his should have never been published, but his willingness to teach us deserves our respect." Luke looked at the dumbfounded Edward and explained softly - apart from that unpleasant start to the school year, perhaps it was the benefit of good grades, Snape was now teaching some of his unique potions techniques unconsciously and honestly in his body, although his mouth was still unforgiving.
"Glad to see that the host is not proud, time-limited mission, time-limited to three months, the host has to finish reading all the magic potion books in the library excluding the forbidden book section. Mission completed, rewarded with a copy of the Magic Pill Master's Tips."
Three months, seems like a long time, but excluding eating, sleeping, and classes, Luke felt that there really wasn't much time. However, if the Potion Master's Insights could be obtained and understood thoroughly, then the door to Potions was open to Luke. Luckily, it was only a requirement to read through rather than actually melting down the contents of these books.
"Luke, what are you thinking? Class is over." Edward rushed to gather his things and woke up the brooding Luke, "While you make a good point, I still don't want to stay in this cold basement for long. And with dinner coming up, I must sit next to the pudding tonight. I only got three pieces yesterday."
Edward's tastes were somewhat similar to those of the future mad girl, and Luke immediately quickened his pace. It wasn't just for the sake of mouthfuls of food, but more importantly to eat early so he could go to the library and read.
Finishing his dinner quickly, Luke was actually the first student to arrive at the library today, faster than Miss Know-It-All Hermione Granger.
Mrs Irma Pince, the Hogwarts librarian who was described as difficult to get along with by the young wizards, and under whose management the Hogwarts library resembled a totalitarian state rather than a place of learning, looked at Luke in a way that was far less scary and harsh than the rumours had suggested.
As a first year student who had already made a name for himself, it was even more impressive to see a smart and talented student who was also willing to study hard, but of course, the key was that this good student loved the collection of books very much.
Luke firstly quickly finished his after-school homework, and then brought a large stack of potions books, using his ability to forget everything, quickly flipping through them. It didn't matter if you didn't understand it, the important thing was to read it first.
After that, less than half an hour later, the library quickly flooded with a large group of students who were busy writing homework and checking information, and the secluded and quiet solo seats like the one Luke chose were occupied and snatched up early on.
