Chapter 8 : Dilemma

Chapter 8 : Dilemma

Year 2975, 31 October

Musa was running, as fast as he could. Something was wrong, something didn't seem right.

The corpse of the Rager Grizzly vanished without a trace in just 10 minutes or something.

The Grizzly probably weighed over 400 kg. If someone or something has vanished in just under 10 minutes

THAT THING COULD BE NO LESS SCARIER THAN THAT RAGER GRIZZLY

Musa almost reached the undergrowth of the large tree.

"I have to inform Brock and Ayesha as soon as possible"

But when his distance was less than a furlong, he clutched a hard break.

He couldn't believe his eyes what was happening.

The entry of the undergrowth.....

was guarded by a Rager Grizzly

Another one was behind that Grizzly, facing the opposite direction. It noticed Musa.

Musa was sweating, his heart was pumping faster from the fear.

Comparing these 2 Grizzlies with the previous one, he could think of only one possibility.

The last one was an infant, maybe the child of these 2 bears.

These bears were at least 12 feet tall. Their claws were larger than the average human's torso.

The one blocking the undergrowth entrance roared. The roar would've been enough to make a weak-hearted man faint.

The one that noticed Musa came sprinting toward Musa.

The only relief was, this grizzly was slower than the first one. Maybe its mass had reduced its agility.

"No time to fear. It's now or never."

Musa took a combat stance, equipped his knuckle brass, and took a deep breath.

As the bear came near and slashed, Musa dodged the attack and punched a cross punch straight to its face.

Musa couldn't dodge properly and his forehead was bleeding.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

The momentum of the bear was pushing back Musa.

He yelled, "Maybe..maybe I'm not strong enough to kill you. But I will give it my all. "

A Huge amount of cosmium energy started to gather around Musa's arm. His hand and upper limb muscles were bursting and bleeding. His knuckle was about to break.

The Grizzly didn't stop pushing. It raised its other paw to hit a second time.

Musa stopped the bear's other claw with his other hand, coated with cosmium energy.

Both of Musa's hands were bleeding from the pressure.

One of his eyes was directly staring at the Grizzly's red eyes.

The vision of the other eye got blurred by the blood, dripping from his forehead.

One eye saw how the grizzly struggled to hit him.

Another eye saw an aged woman and a young girl in a sandstorm yelping behind him. He could recognize the voice even after so many years.

It was his mother and sister.

He could hear his voice echoing, but the voice was unclear. A tree trunk flew toward him.

He punched

He raised his voice even louder

"I WON"T LET YOU TOUCH ANYONE"

The rich cosmium energy burst out like a bomb. The grizzly was thrown almost a few feet away. One of the Grizzly's paws was torn apart.

The grizzly was stunned for a second. Musa was covered in blood. He fell to his knees.

He was on his brink and would lose consciousness anytime.

Now he could hear the echoing clearly.

The grizzly got its senses back and bolted toward Musa. The grizzly raised his other paw to give the final blow.

Musa wasn't in any position to fight, resist or dodge. His body went numb from blood loss.

Musa was smiling. His vision was fuzzy. He could only hear his own voice, his own cry

"I WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU."
