Lurking from the shadows, they were beasts with ashen skin tones, bright red eyes, and dwarf-like size. Such an imbecile creature relies on his somewhat sharp nails for attacking and can hardly cause anything more than a scar. Still, it manages to live up to its name "Blood band goblin" and is a notorious C-tier beast.
Only because it hunts in packs. They might lack the brain to do planned cooperation but their blood thirst makes up for it. Getting the slightest smell of blood and they attack like piranhas.
And unfortunately, Brock is surrounded by a large pack of this creature currently. The stone-cold hand of the goblin almost shocked him to death. He kicked it but it scarred his dlegs. The very moment he started to bleed, all the goblins hurtled toward him. Brock dodged at high speed by dashing backward. They fought among themselves just to suck the droplets of blood that fell into the ground. The goblins were morons, thus falling and blocking the other goblins decremented their speed. Brock kept going back and finally crashed with the stone pillar of the golden orb. The golden orb fell over his head and his forehead started to bleed slightly. And successfully that faint blood odor was enough to draw the attention of the goblins. Every single one of them now struggled, crawled, or dashed toward Brock. There was no way of running. There was nothing Brock could do. The sharp mossy nails of the goblins were a few feet away when Brock accepted his upcoming terrible death,
and when suddenly out of the blue Ryan fell from above, swung his staff to throw away the frontal goblins. Roots wrenching from the ground taking care of the other ones. Brock had so many questions in his mind that he couldn't utter a word. Still, pack of goblins kept coming climbing through the roots. Ryan swung his stuff hitting goblins one after another and finally struck his stuff and forced cosmium energy to expand out hundreds of roots massacring every goblin inside its

"You wanted to get up from this place this way? If I were any late, you would've gone up to God now." Turning toward Brock Ryan chuckled. He was drenched and was breathing heavily.
"But..but how?"
"How what?"
"You are using cosmium?"
"I'm not supposed to?"
"I didn't mean that."
One goblin managed to dive past the roots and leaped toward Ryan. Out of instinct, Brock gestured and sand wrenched the goblin's head out of its body.
Now Brock remembered he left the bizarre torch outside and there was no such torch or material in this room.
"God gracious."
"See? What's with using cosmium? Wait. Is that..?"pointing toward the golden orb, Ryan's jaw dropped.
"It is" Brock grinned."Wait. How did you manage to come down here? And how I really came down here."
"Uh..long story short..you fell for a trap and out of nowhere a large trunk hit your head and you went down a tricky trap door or something. I managed to trace the trap system and found a passage inside a canal that led me here."
He pointed toward the tunnel over their head.
"Stupid me fell for that trap. Anyway, can the passage be followed to go back up?"
"Most probably yeah."
"What is this place anyway?"
"There was a sign beside the canal. It's most probably called
