15 November 2975
Ayesha was sitting on a sofa in a crowded lobby.
She was holding an application letter in her hand.
"*sigh*...I hope nothing bad happens. I just have to submit the application and that's all"
A woman in a grey suit walked toward her
"Miss Ayesha?"
"Yes. It's me."
"Please, chairman sir wants to see you."
Ayesha didn't reply. She stood up. The woman walked toward the large white gate.
Ayesha followed her
There was another waiting room type room between the white gate and the chairman's room.
The room was heavily guarded with bots.
Ayesha's face was expressionless. The woman opened the gate for her
"Please enjoy your appointment with the chairman."
She entered the room.
The only contents of the room were a sofa, a desk, and a chair.
The chair was facing the opposite way and another woman in a black suit was standing beside the desk. She gave off the impression of a personal secretary
The woman spoke
"Good evening. Perhaps you came from Troy Academia to submit your application?"
Ayesha nodded slightly.
"Very well. Please take an envelope from the desk, put your application there and hand it to me."
Ayesha did accordingly. The brown envelopes were the same as the one the drone gave her in the hospital.
Ayesha handed her the envelope
"Please excuse me."
The secretary nodded with a smile.
But when she was about to walk out
"Hold on."
Ayesha looked back. The chair spun now faced toward her. A middle-aged man was sitting. He looked strong.
His muscle lines could be seen through the white shirt. He glanced directly toward Ayesha.
"So, miss Ayesha. Why do you want to join the Nightingales?"
Ayesha took a breath
"Well, no rule of the council makes me obliged to answer that question."
The man slightly chuckled
"Is that so? Perhaps, is your hatred toward the council gone? "
"I never had hatred for the council."
The man made a heavy face
"Well. Then I am the only one you hate?"
Ayesha's eyes were filled with rage
"OF COURSE I HATE YOU. IT IS YOU WHO KILLED MOM. IT IS YOU WHO MESSED UP OUR LIVES."
The secretary was going to push the alarm. The Chairman gestured not to do so.

"Well, I don't deny what I did. Can't you forgive me? Human mistakes. I am a human too."
"NOO...YOU ARE NOT... YOU ARE A BEAST"
The Chairman's face turned enraged from heavy.
"AYESHA.WATCH YOUR TONGUE. DON"T FORGET I AM YOUR FATHER."
Ayesha calmed down and laughed.
"Father? Do you have any idea what father means? What responsibilities a father has?"
The Chairman looked away. He knew he didn't have the right to be called father.
Ayesha started to walk away
"Ayesha, wait.."
"Don't you dare call me. My only business here is done. I don't want to waste a single second here anymore. Faz is home alone."
"How's Faz?"
"Better than when you were there."
Ayesha got out of the room. She wiped the tears from her eyes.
She saw the bots in the waiting room and remembered about her one.
"I have to fix that thing too."
Getting back to the lobby, she saw a huge crowd in front of the news desk
"What the hell happened?"
After struggling for a minute she could see the news.
She stunned. She couldn't believe what she was seeing
"Rad-city was destructed by something extraterrestrial today. The whole city turned into a pit."
She got out of the crowd
"Ron's transporter route was Troy academia-Rad city-Kyo council. So shouldn't he be in.."
She rushed to the academia
"GOD..no..please...PLEASE SAVE RON"
"NOAH."
Ayesha entered the academia conference room. Noah was sitting there.
She knew why Ayesha rushed there. She knew why Ayesha was trembling from fear.
"Did..did..you get any news about..about Ron?"
Noah didn't make eye contact with Ayesha. She couldn't answer.
Ayesha held her by the shoulder and shook her
"TELL ME"
Noah still didn't say anything. She just pointed toward the desk.
Ayesha saw a bundle of paper there.
She took the paper with trembling hands.
Arcadia Analyze Result
Possible Victims of the Catastrophe in Rad-city
Ayesha turned page after page like mad.
She was getting relief not seeing Ron's name.
She was getting tense thinking if his name could be on the next page
At a point, the bundle of paper dropped from her hand.
She fell to her knees.
She was weeping. A name was marked on page 81.
"Ron-student of Troy Academia
Location during catastrophe: Rad-city transporter junction"
Noah couldn't utter a single word."
RON'S STORY ENDED BEFORE IT COULD START
