Under her doubtful gaze, father Ruan hesitated a bit but still forcefully nodded his head, agreeing to her question.

It was as if she was suddenly struck by a lightning bolt after madam Ruan saw her husband nodding his head. For a minute, she was so stunned that her whole body became stiff like a statue then started trembling uncontrollably, in anger that is.

"RUAN. YUN. XING! I WANT YOU TO SAY IT AGAIN. IS HE YOUR ILLEGITIMATE CHILD OR NOT?!" Madam Ruan glared at father Ruan with a sharp gaze filled with rage, menacingly as she spat out the words between clenched teeth.

"...He...he is.." Father Ruan shrunk back even more as he answered in a voice so low that even a mosquito couldn't hear.

"Louder!" Madam Ruan roared at his cowardly action.
