He looked around her to see if she was injured anywhere but didn't find any.

"I'm...fine." Qin Yue shook her head again then pushed his hand on her shoulder away. She stood up unsteadily then balanced herself before heading towards Ruan Jing Xin.

Pei Lang got up and had wanted to support her but she didn't even look at him and walked by herself. His heart felt complicated at the sight of her back that was still straight yet looked lonely.

Qin Yue held Ruan Jing Xin in her arms gently and carefully.

"I'm sorry for making you wait. I won't let this happen again. I promise. Let me bring you home...let's go home."

Tears dropped down from her eyes. She used her soul force again then carried the unconscious Ruan Jing Xin in a princess carry.

After keeping his phone back in his pocket, he sighed again.

"This matter...will be hard to deal with. Ruan Yue Yue....just what kind of a person are you..?" His mumble was swept away by the wind as it remained unanswered.
